The luxurious 32-meter/105-foot-long Mermaid II (Mermaid 2) liveaboard offers 8 spacious cabins, each featuring individual climate control, a large wardrobe, storage, and an en-suite bathroom. A budget cabin is below the deck, with climate control and a shared bathroom. The MV Mermaid II has an inviting salon with tv and video on demand and two decks, all with comfortable, stylish seating, perfect for relaxing after an adventurous day of scuba diving. Thai, Indonesian, and Western cuisine is served on board.
Mermaid II offers scuba divers the opportunity to dive into Indonesia’s best sites, including Komodo, Raja Ampat, Alor, and Ambon in style and comfort. The massive dive deck and dive platform provide divers with easy access to ensure a relaxing dive experience. The professional and friendly staff is also available to assist divers as needed. Friendly service and great dives
We were very impressed by the level of service we experienced. There was a good variety of dive sites and we were able to see many species for the first time.

- Our dive master, Ketut, was wonderful. He was able to spot and point out many amazing things.. Diving with whale sharks was a huge thrill.. Visiting Komodo Island and seeing Komodo dragons was awesome..

Fantastic Liveaboard
Our room was comfortable and adequate. Always warm towels to dry off after each dive. A cup of cocoa after each night dive. Endless fresh fruit available. We saw so many new sea creatures on this trip I was giddy with excitement. Various nudibranches and sea slugs, blue ringed octopus, flamboyant cuttlefish, bobtail squid, manta rays, eagle ray, whale sharks, frogfish, pipefish, sea krate, moray eels etc etc

Great trip!
It was amazing and a lot of fun. I loved the daily schedule and the dive sites. I caught up in a lot of sleep and did a lot if fun dives. So many animals to see!

An amazing experience
This was our second time aboard the Mermaid having previously visited Komodo in 2014. That trip was amazing and would have been hard to beat but this was just as good, if not better. Nothing is ever a chore for the wonderful crew, so friendly and helpful. The dive guides were fantastic especially our guide Ketut who really looked after us. All the dives were planned in advance and we went to the best sites. Very clear briefings and safety was always front of mind. The boat is really well maintained and stocked. Everything is organised to the finer details and is like a well oiled machine meaning you're never left waiting. The food is incredible, the best we've had on a liveaboard. The Mermaid really sets the bar.

Raja Ampat is a dream dive destination full of natural beauty. Needs our protection & preservation as a Unesco World Heritage Site. Extremely grateful & thankful for all the work that goes on behind the scenes to make it possible to dive into this extraordinary region of intense biodiversity. Highlights of trip were the gorgeous Pinnacle Dives, Marine Critters & sightings of Omura Whales :)

Best Liveaboard Crew
We truly enjoyed our liveaboard experience with Mermaid 2. The whole crew from dive guides to cook were very friendly and helped us to enjoy every moment of it. Diving sites were great and the guides were familiar with the sites which helped us to what to expect in each site. Food was delicious with a good variety of cuisines and it was inclusive of everyone who follow certain diets.
