The beautiful Leyla phinisi, sister boat to the Mantra, was custom-built for divers in 2018 after years of experience and planning in Indonesia. With 5-star service and standards, the Leyla liveaboard places emphasis on the design, layout and space onboard. Four spacious cabins can accommodate 8 - 12 guests, making the Leyla ideal for individuals, friends, couples or groups. The front cabin has 1 queen bed and 1 twin bunk bed, the middle cabin features 1 queen bed and the back 2 cabins have 1 queen and 1 single bed, allowing for all types of configurations. Each cabin is equipped with private en-suite bathroom, AC, reading lights, charging ports and storage space.
Social areas throughout the Leyla are spacious and inviting. The indoor salon and dining area is air-conditioned and features an entertainment area and a comfortable sofa and dining table. At the back of the boat is an open-air alfresco dining area, perfect for enjoying the freshly prepared Indonesian and western cuisine whilst taking in the stunning scenery. There is also a further relaxing area at the bow of the boat for sun lovers to soak up the rays, or for star-gazing in the evening.
The Leyla phinisi offers a wide range of shared trips as well as private charter opportunities in Indonesia. Itineraries vary in location, travelling from Raja Ampat down to Komodo, with many special itineraries in between. The 'Ultimate Komodo' trip is a must for any diver that wants to experience the best diving Komodo has to offer, from critter-hunting at amazing muck-diving sites to diving on seamounts in the open ocean and getting up close with large pelagic life, Komodo has a lot to offer. For diving in Raja Ampat, itineraries are 8 or 9 days long and explore Dampier Strait, Misool or Wayag, for untouched reefs, pristine beaches and crystal clear waters. The Leyla dive deck allows ample room for kitting up and has separate rinse tanks for dive gear and camera equipment. The compressor room is soundproofed and located in the bow, for added onboard comfort.

Absolutely Amazing - best trip of our lives
I can't say enough good things about our experience on Leyla. While this was our first liveaaboard experience, we have chartered boats previously (Grenadines) and have been diving around the world. I researched boats in Raja ampat heavily, but we ultimately settled on Layla because it was practically new, had several very positive reviews, and was a little more intimate as it had only 4 guest rooms. We loved the boat the minute we set foot on board. Beautiful, comfortable, and just the right amount of space to spread out and relax. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful. Mattias was our dive master and he worked hard every day to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted out of the diving and our stay. Meals were excellent and plentiful (breakfast was awesome!). Lunches consisted of a variety of Indonesian and western options always with fresh fruit, fresh bread, and often fresh fish - so delicious. We were also greeted with fresh juice cocktails after the last dive every day, and snacks later between the last dive an dinner. The rooms are beautiful and kept impeccably clean by the staff (Arty is the best!). AC in every room, en-suite bathrooms and comfortable beds. I stayed nice and cold through the night which meant I slept like the dead every night after diving all day :) And what can I say about the diving? Its mind blowing. Mattias adapted quickly to our speed and was extremely calm and knowledgeable - and always checked in with us to make sure we were happy. He knew the dive sites well (a few he was diving for the 1st time as he had been on another boat previously that didn't visit the same sites) and always had interesting things to point out. Overall I would not hesitate for a second to recommend Layla and I hope I can someday return. We made great friends on the boat as well which definitely made the week fun and we truly feel this was the best vacation of our lives.

Amazing experience to repeat!
Leyla is a wonderful sailboat, almost brand new and designed with good taste and detail to perfection. Our stay was as comfortable as it could be, with all the commodities we could've asked for. The staff were all super friendly and professional, kept constant attention on us guests, anticipating all our needs and spoiling us all the time. Food was amazing from breakfast to dinner, from start to finish, fresh ingredients and delicious taste and variety - never disappointed! We had amazing dives in Komodo, dive guides were experienced and knowledgeable of the area, the equipment rented was in perfect shape, practically new. I can't wait for another opportunity to get back aboard Leyla, next time in Raja Ampat!
