Beyond Professionalism: A World-Class Diving Haven Defined by Sincerity, Family Spirit, and Culinary Excellence.
My 10-day journey on this liveaboard in Raja Ampat was not just a diving holiday; it was a masterclass in what a hospitality-driven diving experience should be. From the moment I stepped onto the deck, it was clear that this boat is a sanctuary perfectly optimized for divers. First and foremost, the diving operations are flawlessly executed. The crew moves with incredible agility and precision, ensuring that every gear setup and safety protocol is top-notch before you even think to ask. Their briefings are deeply insightful, but what truly moved me was their profound respect for the ocean. It wasn't uncommon to see the crew leading by example, consistently picking up underwater debris during dives. Seeing them act as true guardians of the reef added a level of integrity and pride to our dives that you rarely find elsewhere. The level of personalized care and attention to detail on this boat is simply incomparable. The crew operates as a single, cohesive unit—they notice the smallest things, from a slight change in your appetite to a minor stumble on the deck. They share this information among themselves to ensure your comfort and safety are always prioritized. This sincerity extends to the dining table as well. The culinary experience was a highlight, featuring a magnificent fusion of authentic local flavors and international dishes. Whether you prefer Asian or Western cuisine, every meal was a masterpiece, and the crew’s thoughtfulness in checking if you’re well-fed makes you feel truly cherished. Beyond their roles as staff, the crew became friends and family. Even during their well-deserved resting hours, they never hesitated to sit with me as I filled out my logbook, patiently helping me identify every single species we encountered. They don't just "provide a service"—they give you their hearts. At night, the atmosphere transformed into a warm gathering where we shared games, friendly jokes, and laughter that made the boat feel like a home away from home. Their positive energy is infectious, ensuring that every second spent onboard is filled with ultimate comfort and genuine joy. Every briefing, every refreshing towel after a dive, and every sincere smile was a testament to their passion. This is a boat where professional excellence meets heartfelt sincerity. If you are looking for an elite diving standard wrapped in the warmth of a family, this is the only choice in Raja Ampat.

Awesome trip to spectacular dive sites in Raja Ampat
Concerning the animals we got to see different sharks, turtles, manta rays, nudi branches etc etc. The atmosphere on board was really good wit international guests, all from western countries but a few living in south east asia. The bost itself certainly is no luxury vessel but completely sufficient for what it is and charming. We'd come for a second trip any time.

- The dive sites were great and the guides very knowledgable about the fauna and where to find it. On and off board the staff was very attentive and put in a great effort. Also as vegetarians/vegans we got tasty food with a good variety.

Unfortunatly the six days went by in a flash
The range of dives. There were dives in different areas with different things to see. We saw big stuff like sharks and mantas, plenty of turtles, down to the small stuff like pygmy seahorses and lots of nudibranchs. Jimmy the dive guide was very knowledgeable about each of the 17 dive sites we visited, drew good maps (from memory) and gave excellent briefings before each dive. Coming up from a dive and stepping back onto the Lady Denok 5 minutes later to be handed a delicious ginger tea was also a pleasure I looked forward to.

A wonderful experience- highly recommended as a way of exploring Raja Ampat and Misool
A brilliant trip with Lady Denok- I travelled on the 12 day Raja Ampat cruise which went to Misool and central RA/Dampier straight. We had a very small group of only 5 divers, and so our diving experience was amazing with only the handful of us at most of the dive sites at any one time. Food, staff, and overall experience was brilliant and very good value for money. Like most of the locally made Phinisi style of ships, she leaks a little bit inside during heavy rain, but this never posed a major issue and the ship itself was aesthetically beautiful (and supports the local shipbuilding industry). With only 5 people, we had more then enough space for ourselves, but I can imagine how the ship might feel a little crowded with a full complement of divers on board. I rented some of my dive gear from the ship and it was all quite new and in excellent condition. Food was as good as any I've eaten on a ship- massive compliments to the chef. Overall I would HIGHLY recommend!

More than we imagined
The crew takes remarkable pride in what they do, they went beyond what would be expected. You get a genuine feel that it is not just a job for them. You are definitely going to leave the boat a little bit heavier with all the great food. The dive masters are very knowledgeable and can see from the tiniest 2 mm creatures to unbelievable large mantas. The cabin was very spacious and comfortable.

Manta ray heaven! Grear dives, great people, great food!
Honestly the best liveaboard we have done. Dive guide Egi was amazing both underwater and on the boat. Helping with photos and spotting things. All the staff were great. The food was amazing. The whole trip was relaxing and had no hiccups at all.

A week of wonderful diving on board the Phinisi Lade Denok
With high anticipation we stepped on board this beautiful and well thought out wooden vessel. From this moment on all the crew bent over backwards to make us feel safe, at home and very well taken care of. The airconditioned cabins were well laid out, comfortable and have each private ensuite bathrooms. The main dining area was not only the place to enjoy various sumptuous meals a day (these chefs can cook!!) but it was the area to share experiences and video/photos after each great dive. The dive deck was spacious with a personal station for each diver. Briefings were spot on and based on safety and respect for marine life. Tenderboats took divers to and back from dive sites up to four times a day. We were able to log 21 dives (of which 5 night dives). Dive profiles varied based on the type of reef. Guide to diver ratio was set to max 1 to 4. Marine life was abundant and sheer untouched. We encountered several type of sharks, mantas, mobulas, rays, turtles, schooling fish, nudibranch and a lot of elusive critters that were high on our wishlist. Each dive turned out to be the next best dive ever! After each dive, drinks, a hot shower on deck and fluffy towels awaited us as well as many helpful hands to handle and rinse our gear. We also had the opportunity to do several land trips. With a combined experience of 135 years of worldwide diving (landbased as well as liveaboards) under our belts and having worked in the dive industry, we can honestly say that diving with the crew of the Lady Denok is safe, fun, very enjoyable and therefor highly recommended. This was what liveaboard diving should be like!! Thank you. Thank you so much crew of the Sep 2 - Sep 9 2025 tour. Terima kashi Yopie, Egi, Jimmy, Resky, Arfan, Herman, Arif, Stefan, Yu, Man, Andi, Eka, (Sahril, Mr Black both taxi pick up drivers). Marcel, Monique & Martijn
