Unforgettable!
I was just giddy so often - the mantas, the sharks, the turtles, the whale sharks! The Shotgun was exhilarating! Even the really calm dive sites were so beautiful and I would come out with my mind so relaxed! The guides were excellent - great eye for spotting creatures, big and small, and very adept at finding the right places to position us to observe mantas or sleeping sharks or whale sharks, and made sure we were safe when the currents were strong. We were also extremely fortunate with the cohort of divers - all fun, friendly, helpful, kind, generous and just good people. The land excursions were well chosen and just as unforgettable.

The crew on LG are endlessly cheerful, superlatively helpful, proactive, organized but flexible, reliable, hard working, efficient, generous to guests and each other, sincerely caring, attentive to detail, thorough. And musically talented!. Almost all of the dives were great to spectacular. The boat is a beauty..

Amazing trip on La Galigo
I had an amazing trip on La Galigo. The crew was incredibly friendly, the service was exceptional, and the entire team made us feel at home from day one. The cabins were comfortable, the food was excellent, and every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. The dive guides were fantastic and made exploring the stunning dive sites both fun and memorable. The underwater landscapes were absolutely breathtaking. A truly wonderful liveaboard experience that I would happily recommend to any diver.

Wonderful 2 wks for
Great diving - loved the healthy marine life from the nudibranchs to the pacific manta rays, and the abundance and color of hard and soft coral. Since the boat is small, there were only 10 divers for the 12 days of diving and we became a tight knit group.

- Staff was very friendly and attentive. Dive briefing were detailed, accurate, and followed under water. Loved the small number of divers and the 1:4 Guide to Diver ratio.

Amazing Trip!
We had the best time on La Galigo. The service was excellent, right from the start we were greeted with lots of love. The room was comfortable and clean. Throughout the whole trip, great food was served and we especially enjoyed the numerous vegetarian options. The service around diving was higher than anything we have encountered elsewhere with everyone being exceptionally attentive. We hope to come back one day!

Flawless
Everything went off seamlessly. The entire trip was perfectly accommodating in every way. The food was absolutely fantastic and well above what I was expecting. The entire crew was welcoming, professional, and went out of their way to help whenever they could. The dive briefings were extremely thorough and made the dive easy because you knew exactly what to expect. The master divers where great and took good care of you above and below the water. They did absolutely everything for you and welcomed you back with delicious snacks and warm drinks. My first liveaboard and all future ones I will be doing have a hard standard to live up to. Would highly recommend this ship and crew.

The best liveaboard in Komodo!
My wife and I just finished the Jurassic (6 day 5 night) Komodo dive liveaboard and it was incredible! The boat - beautiful Phinisi boat purpose built for diving. Awesome spacious dive deck with big wash tanks, excellent gear storage and a perfect camera station. Great chill out areas for between dives with bean bags, sun beds and the right mix of sunny and shady spots. Super sturdy at sea, no rolling, no need to worry about sea sickness. Very well maintained and cared for with a beautiful main galley that was more than big enough to accommodate everyone comfortably. The best views at every meal! The cabins - the nicest cabins we've ever had on a dive liveaboard. We stayed in the deluxe double below deck and it was perfect. 3 cool brass portholes let in plenty of light and give great views. The cabin is roomy and has lots of storage, great AC and a very comfy bed! Huge bathroom with a hot shower. All very well appointed. The crew - can't say enough good things about this crew! The Cruise Director was awesome and looked after the whole boat so well. I had an issue that stopped me from diving on the last 2 days, and he made a special effort to take me out on some amazing snorkeling excursions while everyone else was diving so I didn't miss out on anything! He also contacted DAN on my behalf and took care of everything with complete professionalism. Every member of the crew looked after us with kind words and smiles every day. From the tender crew to the galley staff to the guys on the dive deck, everyone went above and beyond in every aspect and made us feel like family. They are such a fun crew with contagious energy and happiness! Our gear was always set up and waiting for us before each dive, loaded onto the tender and even cleaned and dried! Literally all we had to do was roll into the water! And roll was about all we could do after the ridiculous amount of incredible food they fed us every day! The food - We're both vegan and my wife is celiac so between the two of us, we're basically a chefs worst nightmare! But the kitchen staff on the Galigo didn't miss a beat. The chef made such a special effort to prepare amazing vegan gluten free feasts for us at every meal. His food is out of this world and we were treated to some of the best meals we've ever eaten! He is a magician! The diving - I won't go into much detail about the diving because if you're still reading this then you know how amazing the diving here is! What I will say is that all the dive guides on the Galigo were absolutely top tier! The dive briefings were fantastic (these guys are dive map artists!). Safety was always front and center and they made sure everyone was really comfortable and stayed safe in the currents at all times. Our guide was so professional and calm in all situations. His ability to spot wildlife is astounding and he always made sure everyone in the group saw everything. The itinerary is perfect hitting all the best dive spots at just the right times and delivering some of the best night dives ever! Thank you Galigo for the trip of a lifetime! We will definitely be back to dive Raja Ampat with you ASAP!
