Built in Sulawesi, considered the “boatyard” of Indonesia, Jelajahi Laut is a beautiful phinisi boat constructed in 2021 with local teak wood and ironwood, ready to take you to the hottest dive spots in Indonesia. Jelajahi Laut means “Explore the Sea,” which she delivers with expeditions to Komodo, Raja Ampat, Banda Islands, Alor, and Ambon, to name a few. This traditional phinisi was designed by divers, optimizing the comforts for diver guests with a spacious equipment area and camera station, where you can gear up and prepare for your underwater adventure.
With 6 comfortable cabins onboard, Jelajahi Laut offers an intimate dive cruise for up to 14 guests with a sense of adventure who appreciate exploring the popular dive sites and some of the remote islands, local villages, and new dive sites. With a small, local team of dedicated boat crew and dive guides, the staff onboard Jelajahi Laut will invite you as part of their family, introducing you to their home in the Indonesian archipelago. Whether the pelagics in Raja Ampat or the smallest critters in Ambon, the local guides of Jelajahi Laut know where to fulfill your wish list while avoiding the crowds.

To do again!!
From hotel pick-up to drop-off, everything was perfectly organized in a friendly atmosphere. The staff is very attentive and always very smiling, the chef, incredible, prepares delicious, varied and hearty meals.The dive guides are very efficient in finding beautiful things, thank you Hans for the octopuses!! Briefing at the top.The cruise directors are great, accommodating and helpful; we always equip ourselves with music. Thank you Eric for the playlist.Wonderful stay, thank you to the whole team!

Best, liveaboard experience ever
Everything about this trip was fantastic. The crew really made it special with everything from amazing service and taking care of us to the absolutely phenomenal food and being able to spend some moments with the crew and the captain playing the guitar and them singing our excursions and the barbecue They set up for us on the beach was breathtaking. We got rained on but it was still amazing... A truly spectacular trip

A perfect week that exceeded expectations
It was an experience that exceeded my expectations. It was an incredible week diving in points of great marine diversity, with experienced guides and a friendly crew always ready to help. The shore excursions were also very interesting and fun. The meals also surprised by the care and flavor.

Amazing experience
Dives sites were great, dive guides and instructors were amazing and very friendly, thank you @Salla, Abda and Hans! Very friendly environment for snorkels too! Excursions were perfect and we got to see some incredible places and views. Food was always very tasty and different, I wonder how the chef managed to cook so well in a tiny kitchen and limited ingredients. The rest of the crew was so nice too, all very friendly, always ready to help and to have a chat with. We even got the opportunity to watch them sing and playing instruments. So in the end the trip was great if not perfect. Nothing to complain about but on the contrary it felt like every little detail was carefully thought to give to all the guests the best experience possible. Every day is packed with lots of activities for a quite schedule but there’s always a bit of time to chill and just enjoy the sceneries passing by. Highly recommended trip! We loved the Jelajahi Laut and its entire crew!
Our experience aboard the Jelajahi Laut could not have been better. The divesites were amazing. The boat is right-sized and in good condition. Eric, the program director knew his stuff, making on-the fly adjustments to assure we would have pleasant and uncrowded divesites. Hanzo, our dove guid for most of the trip, could not have been better. He was cheerful, pleasant to dive with, and very knowledgeable. The entire crew aboard the ship was friendly, welcoming, and rightfully proud of their country and heritage. The food was great

A trip to remember
The 8 days in Raja Ampat exceeded all my expectations. Every dive site was unique and full of life, with an incredible variety of things to see. The dive guides were excellent – very professional and incredibly good at spotting species we would never have noticed ourselves. Safety was clearly a priority throughout the trip. Our guide Hanzo took great care of my group in every situation. The entire boat crew was fantastic – truly a diamond team. The boat was clean and comfortable, and the staff made us feel welcome from the very first moment. The atmosphere on board was relaxed, happy, and full of positive energy, and the music performances were an absolute highlight. The food was delicious, plentiful, and beautifully prepared and served. Overall, an amazing liveaboard experience that I would highly recommend to any diver visiting Raja Ampat.
