Highlights
The Ikan Biru can house up to 8 guests. The boat has two guest bathrooms with hot freshwater showers below deck. The onboard chef serves freshly baked bread every morning, which he makes in the fully stocked kitchen. Upon request, the Ikan Biru can cater to specific dietary requests. The spacious upper deck is the perfect place to relax between dives in the daytime. In the evening, it is set up as a comfortable dining area. At night, the comfortable mattresses and bedding make it the perfect spot for guests to keep cool while sleeping under the stars, dreaming of all the incredible wildlife they’ve seen.
Thanks to its one-of-a-kind “hop-on, hop-off” concept, you can board the Ikan Biru for 3-12 nights, allowing you to explore the region as you see fit. Two dayboats are ready to take you to land when you wish to disembark. The Ikan Biru only accepts Advanced Open Water divers, or you can get your AOW certification and other diving courses on board. While aboard the Ikan Biru, you can dive three times a day, sometimes more. This lets you visit the best sites, such as Manta Point and The Cauldron.

everything is good
My Komodo liveaboard experience was truly memorable and definitely one of the highlights of my trip to Indonesia. The diving was incredible, with beautiful coral reefs, diverse marine life, dramatic underwater landscapes, and some exciting currents that made every dive feel different. One of the things I enjoyed most was the variety of dive sites. Some were calm and relaxing, while others were more adventurous and challenging. Even though we didn’t get to see manta rays this time, there was still so much to discover underwater, and the overall diving experience was fantastic. Life on board was also a big part of the experience. The crew was friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was relaxed, and spending several days surrounded by the spectacular scenery of Komodo National Park made the whole trip feel very special. Overall, it was a wonderful combination of adventure, nature, diving, and relaxation. I would absolutely recommend a Komodo liveaboard to anyone who loves diving and wants to experience one of the most unique marine environments in the world.

Was the first time I did a Live aboard trip and it was incredible, loved the variety of dive sites we saw, the crew was super accommodating and attentive and our dive masters were thorough on the briefings and tuned into all the various skill levels of all divers under water.

The best thing I've ever done, don't waste money on a boat twice as expensive
The crew are amazing, so helpful, brilliant cook and good coffee. Our guides were so knowledgeable and able to cater to everyone's ability and deliver the best diving I've ever experienced. If your apprehensive about the sleeping on deck don't be it's such a good vibe, (it rained and was fine) we had people from 20-60+ all enjoyed every moment. Wake up and watch dolphins passing by with your coffee dive one of the best sites in your life before breakfast. Eat amazing food and dive some more .Then swim under the milky way with bioluminescence all around you. What more do you want?

I had a great time in Ikan Biru! The food is really good. The staff is also very caring. After every dive they serve tea or coffee and either a meal or a fresh baked snack (brownies etc.)! The dive guides are very kind and they do a very good dive briefing before every dive. Sleeping on the deck is very comfortable. We saw all kinds of fish, sharks, octopus, turtles, mantra rays and even dolphins swimming next to our boat. Very much recommend this trip

Amazing trip with Ikan Biru
We had 4 wonderful days on the Ikan Biru. The trip was very well organized and left nothing to be desired. The dives and dive sites were great. The crew served unbelievably good food and the service was also excellent. The guides also did a great job.

Best diving trip so far
I had the best diving experience ever on this ship. Dive sites were out of this world, beautiful reefs and mantas. Also got to see the Komodo Dragons! Great guides, crew and food. Can't go wrong, would definitely recommend.

Superb experience!
Superb experience! There are no cabins on this boat, everyone sleeps on the upper deck: it's much more comfortable than a cabin and you have air. Everything was well organized and clean. Thank you to the whole team and especially to AK!

Unforgettable immersion in the heart of Komodo
We had an exceptional experience aboard the Ikan Biru, four days of diving and sharing that will remain engraved in our memories. Each site explored offered us its share of wonders: the majestic mantas of Mawan welcomed us in their graceful ballet, while the Komodo current in Siaba Kecil offered us an unparalleled adrenaline rush. The Cauldron, on the other hand, was a dive as spectacular as it was formative, a real learning ground for lovers of the current.The multicolored corals, the sharks present on almost every dive, and the richness of underwater life made each descent an adventure. Ricky, always taking care after each dive, was able to make the experience even more comfortable and reassuring. And our group... What a great energy! Everyone contributed to making each moment a precious moment, between mutual aid, smiles and shared wonder.A huge thank you to the whole team for this magical interlude. The Ikan Biru is not just a boat: it is a floating cocoon where passion, professionalism and conviviality are mixed. See you soon for new bubbles!
