The Emperor Harmoni is a new 48 m/157ft liveaboard in Indonesia. The upper deck has 4 staterooms, and the lower deck has 8 cabins, welcoming up to 24 guests. The Emperor Harmoni has relaxation areas on the deck. On the main deck, guests will find the spacious restaurant, a comfortable lounge area with a 49" TV, a digital movie and music library, board games, an internationally stocked bar, and a camera suite. The upper deck has outdoor seating with deckchairs, beanbags, and sunbeds. Diving is done from two rigid inflatable boats that take divers to the ideal spots.
Diving in Indonesia is always an amazing experience. The Emperor Harmoni takes guests to some of the best sites, including Komodo, Raja Ampat, and the Banda Sea. Even better than our high expectations
We had an amazing time on Emperor Harmoni! From the first till the last moment we felt like home. Phil and Nihad - they are fantastic cruise directors. Our dive guide, Gustin made a very good job. The service was fabulous! We will never forget this trip and are ready to come back!

Ok but not great
To preface, the crew on this liveaboard are absolutely wonderful and as always with an Emperor operation, you’re in great hands safety-wise. However, I would not return to this boat again and I don’t think it’s good value for money. First of all, I was mildly disappointed about the diving. While my guide was an absolutely wonderful person, he kept taking us down to 25-30 meters in every dive even when visibility was not so great and as a result, I didn’t get to explore some of the most beautiful corals most of which are at 10-15 meters. While I understand that conditions vary, other groups stayed much shallower, and my feedback was ignored multiple times before I complained to the cruise director. Second of all, this boat just has one common area inside… one, for 10 days of diving. You eat and chill in the same area all the time, and by the end, it started feeling claustrophobic. Third, while the food was alright, I can’t say I was impressed by it or that it was premium. Overall, this was the most expensive liveaboard I ever been on and the experience was not even in the top-3 of the best (I’ve been on 10).

An amazing experience in Raja Ampat with a crew and boat that made it all worth it!
We had an amazing trip on Emperor Harmoni! The diving in Raja Ampat is amazing and the dive guides were excellent in finding all the amazing marine life living there, such as Wobbegongs and Pygmy seahorses! The boat is well-kept, with spacious rooms and deck areas. The food was top-notch and the cherry on top was definitely the drinks waiting for us after the second dive, so refreshing! For people that love night dives, the only thing to note: We did 2 morning dives and 1 afternoon dive, and only once an additional night dive.

Emperor HARMONI, amazing crew and world-class diving. Misool exceeded my expectations!
I just finished a trip of a lifetime on the Emperor Harmoni. The whole staff went above and beyond to make this trip more enjoyable than I could imagine. The diving was incredible! We were coming up from every dive seeing new and interesting things and the sights from the boat were so beautiful. The boat itself is extra spacious and cozy, there’s a nice sun deck to practice yoga (mats provided) or to enjoy a cocktail at sunset. What really made the trip memorable was the crew. Wow, do they work hard and have a great time doing it. Nihed was always happy to have a conversation and ensuring that everyone was having a good time. He took care of all the fine details of the trip and served as a great crew leader alongside Phil, who brought his knowledge and passion for the ocean to the team. Phil’s dive briefings, along with his beautifully drawn dive site maps, were always informative and enjoyable. Danny, our guide made sure that we had an enjoyable diving experience, adjusting to the currents and pointing out all the marine life we wanted to see, including mantas, wobbegong sharks, reef sharks, pygmy seahorses, and nudibranchs, the list goes on…. Gustin and Jarod were also great, though I didn’t dive with them. The kitchen staff—Dimos, Ari, and Nandar did a great job making delicious meals for all the hungry divers on the boat, while accommodating any dietary restrictions or preferences. Elon, Lee, and Andi were amazing front of the boat staff, serving our meals, making us drinks, and discussing the day’s dives. Their attentiveness and attention to detail were impressive. The boat even organized a fun sunset cocktail party on the beach for us one evening. Captain Augestian and his officers, Salgap and Asbullah, ensured that the boat sailed smoothly and navigated to the best areas and conditions during the trip. The dingy drivers, Wawan, Anto, and Emang gave us a sporty ride to and from the boat and divesites. Who knew diving from a dinghy would be so fun! The boat engineering crew—Tatok, Amir, and Harry kept everything running smoothly. They refilled our tanks after each dive and also gave us a tour of the engine room one evening. Raja Ampat and the HARMONI was a trip I’ll never forget. If you’re considering a liveaboard trip with outstanding service and beautiful coral gardens, HARMONI is where it’s at. Once you’re on board, you’ll have the opportunity to see for yourself how amazing and fun this crew is. Happy diving!

Great trip on a comfortable boat with a great crew
10 great days on board with a program above and below water tailored to the customers present. The crew enjoys dealing with the customers and their respective tasks and thus always spreads an infectious good mood. Great, varied cuisine.

Good value and lots of space
Harmoni is a newish liveaboard with large spaces and a great set up for diving. The crew were all excellent and a lot have worked on other liveaboards with many years of experience. The food was good for the price point. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms great in terms of space and showers better than most hotel rooms. The cruise director and dive guides were excellent with flawless planning and dives. Emperor dive with some of the best ethics I have seen giving everyone a great experience and leaving the reef untouched. It is a safe boat with good planning for exits and charging not possible in the rooms. It may not be for you if you value 4 dives a day and frequent night dives. The large spaces and layout may also not be to everyone’s taste. It’s also not designed necessarily for photographers but I had more than enough space for my charging equipment and camera.
