Newly built in 2015, the traditional sailing phinisi Cajoma IV offers epic liveaboard dive trips in Komodo from April to December each year. Cruises are 3-nights/4-days long and explore the diverse area of this National Park. The itineraries have been planned with divers' needs in mind, and the maximum number of dives is offered while keeping group sizes small (4:1 ratio). The schedules cover some of Komodo's best dive sites, including Manta Point and Castle Rock, where you can see mantas and sharks, as well as incredible muck dives that reveal amazing critters. Plus, a land visit to see Komodo Dragons and flying foxes, and you have the perfect short Komodo dive trip.
Topsides, the modern 30m Cajoma IV liveaboard caters to just 8 guests in 4 en-suite cabins. There is a master cabin with a private balcony on the main deck, as well as 2 doubles and 1 twin cabin on the lower deck. All cabins feature en-suite bathrooms and air conditioning. Social areas include a large sun deck, jacuzzi, outdoor dining area, indoor lounge, bar, and kitchen. Fresh meals are provided with a wide variety of local Indonesian cuisine and Western dishes.

Top tier diving with top tier operation
Had an amazing 3 nights aboard. everything was grear, from the operation to the diving itself. Rikar and Yohan were absolute legends, their briefings very elaborate and comprehensive. They are also really fun to hang out with and talk over lunch and dinner. The boat crew was also amazing, they kept everything running perfectly, they were very helpful and always there for any questions. The diving in Komodo is absolutely insane, tons of mantas and turtles, quite a few sharks and generally great biodiversity. The whole experience from land to land was top tier, i can't reccomend this guys enough.

A fantastic diving trip around Komodo.
An amazing diving experience in Komodo. The sites were great with beautiful unbleached coral. We also saw several Manta Rays. The excursions to Komodo Island and Padar Island helped round out of the experience. I really enjoyed the divemasters as well, the predive briefings were very comprehensive, and they were great guides underwater. The boat crew were very friendly, did a great job dealing with the gear, and the food was excellent. I cannot recommend them enough.

A honeymoon to remember

An experience to repeat
Delighted with the experience, both the guides and the crew super friendly. Very good vibes with the group. And the diving excursions are spectacular. We also did shore excursions which I thoroughly enjoyed! And the boat was amazing!!

Once in a lifetime trip, made for a fabulous honeymoon
Loved the crew on our boat, and both dive guides were excellent. Felt very well taken care of and didn’t feel like we missed seeing anything. We booked the master cabin with private balcony for our honeymoon and felt it was totally worth the value. The boat is very nice with all of the outdoor areas shaded and comfortable. Hot tub on the boat was a luxury! It was maximum 8 customers so it felt very intimate and we had lots of space to ourselves. Definitely a once in a lifetime trip and would highly recommend choosing the Cajoma IV for your Komodo scuba trip.

Overall a fantastic experience !!!
It’s a fantastic boat for a liveaboard where diving and other activities come together. We have had 12 fantastic dives within 4 days and went to Padar island for a stunning view, pink beach and to the Komodo dragons. Overall it’s a perfect mix of diving and other adventures. The boat is very clean und comfy. The staff is super friendly.

Incredible Komodo experience
This trip was incredible, the diving in Komodo was fun and a little crazy, so much cool coral, schools of fish, turtles, sharks, rays and the unbelievable Manta rays. Both dive guides, Michelle and Pieter took great care of us and ensured our safety and comfort with the currents. The boat was luxurious and the staff catered to your every need. I highly recommend the master cabin with its own balcony. A great trip, I’d highly recommend and will be doing again!

The best diving trip in my whole 25+ years diving carrier !
All the dive sites we went to, were just amazing and with the help of our experienced dive instuctor we could even handle and enjoy the extreme drift dives. All the very delicious meals the crew served us 3 times a day were so tasty and well choosen. The warm shower we were able to take in our own cabin after all the fantastic dives were really welcome.

Amazing diving!
We really enjoyed the sunset hike and surface intervals relaxing on the boat. The diving was amazing - so many sharks, turtles and tropical fish! Two of the dive sites were very unique drift dives that I hadn't done before - the divemasters were great at helping us in the current. The food was good - you won't get hungry!
