Blue Lotus is a traditional Indonesian liveaboard dedicated exclusively to Komodo National Park, offering year-round dive trips in one of the world’s most spectacular marine environments. Accommodating 10 to 12 guests across 5 cabins and 3 decks, she offers an intimate, comfortable setting for exploring this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Twin and triple cabins are located on the lower deck, while the upper deck master suite offers ocean views and a private balcony. All cabins feature warm teak interiors, air conditioning, and private en-suite bathrooms.
Social spaces onboard include indoor and outdoor lounges, a shaded sun deck, and dining areas where freshly prepared meals are served both inside and al fresco. Built for diving expeditions, Blue Lotus features a spacious dive deck with gear preparation areas, rinse stations, outdoor showers, 2 support tenders, and Nitrox for certified divers. Professional dive guides keep a maximum ratio of 1 guide to 4 guests, while a trained and experienced crew helps ensure a smooth, safe, and well-organized journey.
Blue Lotus offers carefully planned 4- to 8-day Komodo itineraries visiting world-famous dive sites such as Batu Bolong, Castle Rock, Crystal Rock, and Manta Point. Depending on the trip, guests can enjoy up to 23 dives, including night dives, as well as island excursions and encounters with manta rays, sea turtles, reef sharks, and Komodo dragons. Operated through Azul Komodo, a PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Center, PADI Eco Center, and Green Fins Silver-certified operation, Blue Lotus combines local expertise with a strong commitment to sustainable tourism, ocean conservation, and the communities of Komodo.

Highly recommend!
Best liveaboard I’ve been on. The guides made the trip super special and we saw all the top things in Komodo. Ship is great with plenty of leisure area and food was top notch.

Wonderful dive trip in Komodo
Where to start? Everything about the 6 days that we spent on Blue Lotus was exceptional. It far surpassed our best expectations! The diving was fantastic- world class. Coral reefs, so many fish, sharks and mantas etc. Maxro also very good. The boat is new, very well designed and comfortable. The cabins have lots of usable space (we had a twin). The beds are very comfortable and there’s lots of space on the boat for chilling out with beds and bean bags across the decks. The food was excellent. Every meal was varied , tasty, with 3-4 protein dishes each meal (fish, prawns, squid, chicken, beef, tofu) and lots of vegetables, rice, noodles, fruit, cakes, ice cream etc. Presentation was also good restaurant standard. The crew and catering staff were top notch, very happy and did everything for you. The dive equipment was pretty new and very good quality and condition. The dive masters were great and, whilst the group maximum is 4 divers per divemaster, our group had 4 divemasters for 9 divers due to the mix of diving standards in the group. We had the great fortune to dive with Stefan Rayworth who was by far the best divemaster we’ve ever dived with. Planning and execution of the dives were spot on, we felt extremely safe with him, and he finds everything from mantas and shark to nudibranchs and seahorses. The back office team were also great with prompt communications from Feli. We would go with Blue lotus again in a heartbeat

Absolutely stunning dive sites and heaven for drift diving.
The 8 days/7 nights trip was absolutely packed with action and adventure. The highlight was not only the great dive sites but also the other activities like the visit to the Komodo National Park, sun rise hike and more. The guides were amazing so is the hospitality of the entire crew. Food options are great. The room was a little cramped up but that’s not a big deal breaker when compared to all the other positives. For drift diving this trip is a dream come true.

Highly recommended!
Fantastic. Amazing crew and guides, and a lovely on board experience. Their knowledge of the dive sites is first rate, and their care for us as divers and guests was first rate. The food was wonderful and plentiful. There was something new every day. It was amazing what they turned out, and it’s a great mix of Indonesian and western. The cabins are pretty comfy, and are all ensuite. I highly recommend this outfit if you want a more personal and amazing dive trip.

My best diving experience by far
The diving trip with Blue Lotus was absolutely amazing. The staff were superhelpful even prior to the trip to help me find gear in Labuan Bajo I wanted to bring for the trip. The boat was beautiful and so was the rooms. The beds were comfortable and the AC worked great. The local food was great and the staff were kind, fun and helpful. And last of all, the diving was the best I’ve experienced. The gear were in good condition, the dive sites were planned to make the best out of the trip, and were changed if current and weather conditions, only to make our trip the best. I couldn’t have asked for anything else. This trip with Blue Lotus was amazing! Thank you!

Succesful first liveaboard experience
Komodo is an incredible place to dive, it truly feels like a dream! The abundance of life is unmeasurable. As this was my first liveaboard, I was a little nervous about the strong currents Komodo is known for, but I felt very safe in the hands of the Blue Lotus team. You can tell they carefully plan every dive, and are ready to provide an alternative if the conditions are not suitable at a specific dive site. Dealin The boat was comfortable and exactly as I expected from the photos. The crew truly spoiled us with delicious food, plenty of snacks, and kept us well-hydrated all the time.

Great Liveaboard experience in a 7D trip. Knowledgeable dive master, incredible amount and quality of food and a great boat! It was my first experience and I highly recommend it. They have towels for after dives and for your shower. Boat is well maintained and crew is very upbeat!

Great experience, great crew, great guides, great organisation
Great first impression when a Blue Lotus staff member was waiting for me at my hotel on the morning of our departure. The level of organisation and client focussed support only flowed from then, through the rest of the trip until our eventual return to port. Typical day involved (i) early morning wakeup, (ii) light breakfast, (iii) morning dive, (iv) cooked breakfast (smorgasbord), (v) mid-morning dive, (vi) cooked lunch (smorgasbord), (vii) time for a nap, (viii) afternoon dive, (ix) evening/night dive (three times), (x) cooked three coarse dinner. Rinse and repeat. Total variation in meals and dive sites. Dedicated equipment area at rear of main vessel with transfer to dive sites on one of two specially configured runabouts. I chose the budget accommodation, which had surprisingly more storage area than the photos showed. There was more than sufficient space under the upper bed for those, like me, on the lower bed to store personal items. Clean, well maintained vessel. Well run...no issues As with any budget liveaboard, selection of beverages was limited to a few select soft drinks (complimentary) and one beer (for fee). So if you want something different, you're free to bring your own and utilise the boat's fridge

Liveaboard at Komodo national park
This was our first liveaboard experience. It was beyond our expectation, crew was very professional and friendly. All the timings were met, due to WhatsApp communication between local boats dives were mostly our boat. Our dive master Yuven Tus was great. Size of the boat allowed all the guests dine together and get to know eachother. There were really lovely people. There was plenty of food and delicious local fruits. Stefan planned everything so well diving locations were out of this planet! Dive briefings were good, dives planned very good. It was overall a great experience.

fantastic
Overall a great experience. My dive guide really made the trip with his planning, awareness, and expectations with the group. We had some challenging dives and it was well executed with their expertise. The guides had a solid understanding of each dive sites' tendencies based on the tides, which dictated how we dove. There was always tons of food, sometimes a little too much.
