Spectacular
Absolutely spectacular. The crew was very attentive, and hour-to-hour itinerary was well planned. Wake up at 7, dive, nap, breakfast, dive again, lunch, nap, dive, nap, night dive, dinner, repeat. I liked the camera room (fully stocked with batteries and extra gear) and the plan of getting to the dive sites. It was overall very efficient, and the dive guides are great. I would definitely take the Ambai again.

Seeing orcas and the captain moving the boat closer for everyone to have an upclose experience. Seeing the wide range of marine life from macro to mantas. Just loved the trip.

- The dives sites were variable and full of life. Multiple land excursions were offered and was interesting. The cruise director was approachable and offered extra activities based on the divers interes
Great staff but location was not the best.
The first dive, the beach cookout, the whale shark , and the site called Fishomania were highlights.

Probably the best diving overall in my 30 years of diving.
Diving in a huge ball of fish as Mobula Rays darted in and out feeding. The incredibly beautiful soft corals. The sheer volume of marine life.

Best dive trip ever!
Raja Ampat is a gem! It’s hard to get there but more than worth the effort. The diving was fantastic and the group of friends I made was unbelievable. The crew was the best group of people imaginable. I will dive with this crew on ambai again. Just isn’t possible to have more fun on a dive trip. Thanks to all of the crew for really making this a wonderful experience.

Excellent Liveaboard !!!
Definitely worth taking the big tour going to Misool and Raja Ampat north.Shadow Reef is a must !!! Lots of variety in the diving sites. Excellent staff and good guides. Ambai is a nice boat, very well rigged for diving and comfort. Diving deck (in the shade) and 2 relaxing decks with sofas and bean bags. Very good food as well, and in quantity. Thanks to Akim, the competent cruise director, the atmosphere is relaxed, yet very rigorous in safety and very efficient in the way diving is organized. On our trip, the majority of the customers were French. Thanks to Liveaboard as well, who traded this trip for us very professionally.

Great vessel & crew to support an incredible experience
The Ambai was perfect for 11 nights around Raja Ampat. Comfortable boat, spacious enough with great area for lounging in the sun. Decent healthy food, awesome friendly crew. Honestly I'm sure you could pay way more for some extra little luxuries but I found the Ambai delivered on expectations and I didn't want for anything, except maybe to upgrade the choice of whisky on offer (recommend JW Black Label or something.) Compared to the other options I feel like this was good value for money and a wonderful experience.

Great. I´ll repeat with this boat
Everything on boat was amazing. Dive sites were amazing, beautiful creatures, coral gardens, nice sun sets, landscapes, etc...Dive guides were very patients waiting us taking pictures and videos. Cruise director was responsible, helpful and fun. Crew was very friendly and helpful also. The chef was very careful about me with my seafood allergy. It was good don´t have WIFI on board to disconnect and can have chats with others guests. Thanks :-)

The whole crew make this trip so amazing. They are young and passionated in what they do. The selection of the dive sites were very variated. From macro to sharks and a lot of baracudas. We will go definitely back on this boat again.

Friendly crew, mediocre food and very french
Some of the dive guides didn't dive as briefed/planned, but just stuck to their macro routine. So with only 3 day dives in Triton, I barely saw the beautiful soft corals (but lots of sand). Mainly french guests, so for the few non-french guest you're stuck with each other. Little/no choice in food and some curious culinary combinations, made for a mediocre food experience. Crew is friendly and boat is great. But I would only recommend the Ambai to french people who are into macro diving.
