The 32m M/V Ambai liveaboard schedules year-round diving cruises to the amazing bio-diverse areas of Halmahera, Triton Bay, Banda Sea, The Forgotten Islands, and Raja Ampat. An experienced crew of 16 is on hand to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction both in and out of the water. Ambai can accommodate up to 16 guests in 8 deluxe cabins. Each cabin features individual climate control and a private bathroom with a shower. Guests can relax in the air-conditioned lounge, on the shadow deck, and on the sun deck. Each offers stylish, comfortable seating and serene surroundings.
Dive amenities onboard Ambai include a large dive deck, three dive tenders, Nitrox, and 4 dive guides. Ambai takes pride in offering hassle-free diving, and the staff will assist scuba divers to guarantee a successful diving safari. Underwater photographers will also be thrilled with the dedicated camera room. Share photos and videos of the day’s spectacular dives on a large screen in the lounge. Spectacular
Absolutely spectacular. The crew was very attentive, and hour-to-hour itinerary was well planned. Wake up at 7, dive, nap, breakfast, dive again, lunch, nap, dive, nap, night dive, dinner, repeat. I liked the camera room (fully stocked with batteries and extra gear) and the plan of getting to the dive sites. It was overall very efficient, and the dive guides are great. I would definitely take the Ambai again.

Excellent Liveaboard !!!
Definitely worth taking the big tour going to Misool and Raja Ampat north.Shadow Reef is a must !!! Lots of variety in the diving sites. Excellent staff and good guides. Ambai is a nice boat, very well rigged for diving and comfort. Diving deck (in the shade) and 2 relaxing decks with sofas and bean bags. Very good food as well, and in quantity. Thanks to Akim, the competent cruise director, the atmosphere is relaxed, yet very rigorous in safety and very efficient in the way diving is organized. On our trip, the majority of the customers were French. Thanks to Liveaboard as well, who traded this trip for us very professionally.

Fabulous Crew, Amazing Food, and a Balanced Dive Trip
Diving at Puri Pinnacle and Shadow Reef. The crew of the Ambai are all truly fantastic, caring, thoughtful, fun, people. They made us feel like family and we left not only with an amazing dive experience, but friends.

Wonderful diving. Best crew ever.
Nice ship, very clean and confortable. Everything was perfectly organized. Marco (the dive cruise director) and all the crew were awesome, working hard 24/7 just to keep us happy and very friendly with us. Very good dives, beautiful coral gardens. Crew always keeping an eye on you, everything was always rechecked and seems to feel more safe. Food was nice. I would book again with Ambai for sure.

Great liveaboard
Great diving - macro, mantas, something for everyone. Expert dive guides and super helpful crew. Delicious food, very comfortable cabins, nice space to relax onboard. Fun excursions to see more of Raja Ampat.
