Fantastic Crew
Just returned from a fun trip aboard the Roatan Aggressor. The boat was unable to make it to Utila, which was a big disappointment to everyone. Apparently this is an ongoing issue. The boat does not have stabilizers so guests rarely get to go to Utila. I hope this is addressed for future divers. The crew was wonderful and the boat felt very new and comfortable. The diving was average, at best, but we all had a great time thanks to our group dynamic and the fun crew. The food was good and plentiful, but uniformly under seasoned.

Incredible Crew, Great Boat
Unfortunately we chose to go during a time of iffy weather and were subjected to wind and rain for much of the trip. The crew worked incredibly hard to find good dive sites throughout the trip. The food was very good, our only complaint was that there was too much of it and very rich which is different from the way we normally eat. The cabins were small but comfortable and any and all issues were immeadiately addressed and fixed by crew. Overall we enjoyed the trip very much and would definitely recommend the Roatan Aggressor as a great liveaboard option.

Roatan aggressor is a gem
The entire crew was awesome from beginning to end. The days ran seamlessly with help on the dive deck from Jonathan, Gabby and G. Captain Eddy is a master both in and out of the water and kept the boat steady in the face of some challenging winds. Johnny kept all the systems running without a hitch. Jennelle and Milton rocked it in the galley and we all finished the trip a few pounds up. It was a great week. I look forward to another trip to Roatan.

Diving...…..seeing the fish, critters and beautiful undersea gardens The shark dive was very cool and I felt quite comfortable......to my surprise All the other passengers were friendly eager divers...ready to help share fish identification, show each other pictures and share the hot tub. The crew were always ready, smiling and helpful. They were quick to learn our names and needs

Our time on the Roatan Aggressor was MAGIC & PERFECTION!
The highlights are too many to list, as the entire trip was incredible from start to finish! If we must highlight some highlights, I would say: The underwater life was stunning. The crew/staff ensured our safety and comfort at every moment. Breathing in the open air. The accommodation were lovely - we were upgraded to the front cabin! (SO KIND!) The food was unbelievable. At every meal. Our fellow passengers were great! This was our very first liveaboard and don't know if we will travel/dive any other way moving forward. Thank you so much, Aggressor - we will be back for certain!!

Excellent service and diving experience.
We loved diving the colorful walls full of sea life around Roatán and the Seamounts. Just spectacular teaming fishes and a puppy dog like nurse shark at the Seamounts. I’m so happy my new to diving partner had an opportunity to enjoy all in a safe and friendly setting.

Made the best of the current situation
Came onboard the Roatan Aggressor soon after the country opened up for tourism due to the pandemic. Due to Utilia not being open and the rough weather on the northern side, we were not able to dive there. We were unfortunately stuck doing pretty much all our dives in the south shore. Even our trip to the sea mounts in Cayos were cut short due the extreme current, but we did get an extra night dive because we came back to the mainland for the afternoon dives. We seem to have ran out of sites to dive, so at the end, guests were polled on which site they would like to dive. To be fair, we did get a repeat of the shark dive. As for the service, the food was great, the crew seem to work a little extra to help you get back onboard. We were upgraded to the master cabin, even though we specifically did not book that room due to it being in the bow, and the lack of a second bed, where I usually throw my camera stuff. Due to the smaller number of guests, we all pretty much dove as a group. On some dives, the divemaster re-enforced that rule, herding us together, while on others, people wandered farther away, getting lost from the group due to limited visibility. The divemasters generally look for interesting critters and highlights them to anyone nearby or if it is real interesting, uses his shaker to get the attention of anyone interested. So it is generally better off to dive in the general vicinity of the divemaster unless you are really good at critter spotting. If all you want is to be wowed by random creature passing by, you likely will be sorry, unless the creatures are the ones following the group, hoping for some lionfish handout. One creature that does wander by are the green moray eels. Plus, the trips being mostly in the south side, the variety of creatures seem to be limited. I've dove the north side a while ago, the topography was different and there were some big wrecks, but from my recollection, the critters were more or less the same.

Not my first live aboard choice but a surprisingly good trip.
The weather was not the best due to wind but the crew was able to find diving safe opportunities. Because of strong currents we did some drift diving. The day trip to Cayo Cochinos was awesome. The absolute best experience was the shark feeding dive.

The customer service was amazing. The crew absolutely blew my mind with the attentiveness and care for all guests. The owner is very lucky to have them. The food was also out of this world! The boat was fabulous and the customer service the crew provided was next to none! From the minute we were picked up at the airport to our final port docking, the crew was very attentive, helpful, and friendly. It truly was a hassle-free, relaxing dive trip! I rented all of my gear and as a relatively new diver the crew made sure to check in on my equipment and helped with any questions or issues that came up. Roatan has some world famous dive sites which was an experience in itself to dive. There were a ton of great swim throughs, coral covered walls, and bath-tub like temperatures which always makes diving just that much more fun. Would definitely recommend this trip!

Great Diving experience
Unlike other boats, the crew divers took their time to explore the reefs. They found things that I would never discovered. They didn’t “rush “ back to the boat to get back to their other duties. It would be great if they added guest names on tape at their tank stations to help us learn names faster. Easy to do and the Benefit would be huge for guests. Diving was pretty good. Only one Turtle, no sting ray or eagle rays. Plenty of other stuff though. They run a tight, safe and comfortable ship. I’ll definitely go back!

The crew and diving were fantastic.
The highlights of the trip include the really great diving, especially in some of the more remote locations. In addition, I was so impressed by the amazing crew. They all stood ready to help us in any way possible, from helping in and out of the water, pointing out creatures on the dives, to hanging wetsuits, bringing us food and drinks, to catching me when I started to fall on the platform. Their attitude always was friendly, gracious, and warm. The food was first class. The crew can make or break a trip like this when you are in very close quarters--and these are superstars!

was expecting a little more
My review is for the ROATAN AGGRESSOR on the 23rd June to 30th June, 2018. Well, all in all I was able to make 27 dives in 6 days, so that was good. However it was a little disappointing being that with late notice being in April and after my flights were all reserved and paid for that all customers were to incur an additional USD$125.00 charge for ports and marine park fees as the entire island is now apparently a marine park, however fishing is still being done openly everywhere by local fishing charters and the wildlife kind of reflects neglect as there are noticeably less fish then I personally observed in other parts of the caribbean that I have most recently dove at. Sharks were shockingly absent accept for one dive site where a shark feeding session was attempted. The other 26 dives only scared out a single nurse shark sighted by my group. It is alarming that none of the other dozen or so divers reported seeing any sharks at all, other then at the shark feed dive where a mere 9 sharks came to feed. On the other hand there were many turtle sightings as well as a few eagle rays and a few octopus sightings, but with Roatan’s spectacular underwater topography and world re-known barrier reef I expected to see much more wildlife than what was there. The corals at many sites appeared to have presence of algae growth and the barrier reef does not appear to be in great health. Another thing I was not super happy about was that we did many repeated dives at the same sites. The operations coordinator advised that the repeat dives at the same locations were due to weather restrictions caused by wind, but as a customer it just seemed a little concerning that we dove many sites that were very near shore dive locations. The travel to Utila was also cancelled due to weather restrictions. In regards to the boat, cabins were smaller than the last charter I was on and the cabin layout did not seem well designed with too few hooks for hanging stuff. Food on board was good and the operations coordinator was able to cater to different taste and allergies, and also tried to accommodate vegetarians onboard. This is my first Aggressor fleet vacation and I am not sure if it’s the same on the entire fleet, but with the breakfasts and dinners they would serve you rather than to do a buffet self serve with a selection of items. My preference is buffet style with a choice or entrée for all meals. The operations coordinator also advised that the boat could only make a limited amount of purified water at a time and it was in our best interest not to over use that resource. When one of the other guest ask the operator as to the use of the hot tub she was advised that due to the ocean conditions that the hot tub would not be in operation for our entire trip. To sum things up, the crew was very good, friendly, and knowledgeable in the operation of the boat. The operations coordinator was accommodating, however professionally friendly at best. I have been diving for 29 years and this was my sixth liveaboard I have been on and in my humble opinion it really seemed like the operation of the ROATAN AGGRESSOR was being streamlined to become more efficient and profitable.

The crew was very friendly and genuinely eager to make our stay as good as possible. We managed 26 dives in six days. There was a good variety of Dive sites but three dives on one mooring can be too much. I also prefered the diving around Roatan to the island of Utila

Excellent Crew and Great Diving
The crew were fantastic! They were friendly, involved, safe and always smiling and helping. Not once did they frown or have second thoughts about helping anyone. The cabins were clean and the food was OUTSTANDING! The diving conditions were constantly monitored by the Captain who did his best to arrange the dive sites and sail path in accordance with the weather. Please do not confuse the underwater conditions with the boat crew. The crew don’t control the visibility underwater or if you see a certain fish so my review is about the boat and the crew irespective of the dive sites. The dive sites were quite calm and relaxing with plenty of macro life and medium sized animals. Well done to the crew of this trip for making it a special xmas!

Dive/eat/sleep
The diving was amazing in the beautiful reef (although with a bit less fish than I expected). Great organization, with the daily timetable being clearly informed and followed. Great food - diverse and in generous amounts. Nevertheless, on boarding we were charged surplus fees that were not informed when we reserved the trip - and we had (supposedly) fully paid the trip well in advance. Also, on the checkout, we were firmly "advised" about the exact amount range they "expected" us to offer as "tipping", which left us quite uncomfortable.
