Each cabin is air-conditioned, with a private en-suite bathroom, queen or twin beds, and ample storage space. The main deck cabins have large windows providing stunning ocean views. Social areas include a modern main-deck salon with a TV & lounge area and a furnished dining room serving delicious chef-prepared cuisine. For further socializing and relaxation, guests can unwind on the top deck, enjoy the partially covered sun deck, or relax in the hot tub. The Tiburon Explorer liveaboard offers amazing dive trips in the Galapagos Islands. Best Liveaboard EVER!
This liveaboard exceeded my expectations. I’ve never had so much help before and after a dive with getting gear on/off. It was fantastic and made the dive experience so much better! Our guides were also amazing. The captain even came down and did final tank checks before we got into the panga. Absolutely amazing service and beautiful boat!

Amazing Galapagos experience which provided all the highlights and more!
We saw whale sharks, hundreds of hammerheads, Galapagos, Silky, & tiger sharks plus penguins, dolphins, turtles, marine iguanas and tons of birds. The crew was great, I had so much appreciation for their help getting in and out of the 7 mm wet suit & gear.

I had the most amazing time aboard the Tiburon Explorer in the Galapagos. The dives were beautiful and truly memorable. We were lucky to have a fantastic dive group—everyone was very experienced, which made each dive even more enjoyable and easy. The staff was attentive, helpful, kind, and professional, and I especially appreciated that the captain personally did buddy checks to make sure everyone reached the zodiac safely and properly equipped. The food on board was delicious, with a rich and varied cuisine that made every meal something to look forward to. All in all, it was a beautiful trip and an unforgettable experience.

Outstanding service, amazing diving.
The crew was amazing with even the captain helping with gear and checking every diver before every dive to ensure they were set to dive. The dives were very good. We saw many things for the first time. Our cabin, are including the bathroom, was spacious and very comfortable.

The best liveaboard of my life
The largest whalesharks I've ever seen, bigger schools of hammerheads than I could imagine, sea lions playing with me during many safety stops, land trips to see amazing birds and turtles, marine iguanas feeding in an incredible landscape... this has been the best liveaboard of my life with no doubt. The divemasters were very professional and attentive, the boat is new and super luxury, very clean and with new diving equipment, the staff is always helping and the service is excellent. It has been waaay better than expected. Best destination in the world as for big stuff for sure...

Memorable Galapagos liveaboard
Tiburon Explorer exhibited exemplary service, from the scheduled pickup at the hotel to the boat, up to the transfer to the airport. The boat's crew showed exceptional service. You can see how the crew functioned as one, to ensure that the guests' experience during diving and in the boat was a very pleasant one. The boat's crew showed that they were very knowledgeable and experienced with regards diving in the Galapagos islands. The dive crew assisted divers into their wetsuits, dive gear, accurately dropped the divers at the dive site and seamless pickup after each dive. There was attention to detail: 2 of the dive crew, were meticulously checking the divers gear and tanks, as each diver went down the short flight of stairs and upon transfer to the panga for every dive. In the panga, the crew donned the divers fins. For transfers back to the boat, the crew assisted the divers in removing their wetsuit and provided hot beverages on return to the boat. Our cabins were very comfortable and the crew regularly cleaned our rooms. There was an abundance of great tasting food. Although, there should have been more vegan options in the menu aside from veggie meat, as one of our diver friend is vegan, and can only tolerate eating veggie meat several times. Our dive guides were very knowledgeable regarding the dive sites, and you can see and feel that they wanted their divers to enjoy diving in the Galapagos islands. The dive guides were safety conscious and always checked on the divers during the dives. The dive guides were very patient with the divers, and answered questions as best as they can. The best dive site for me was Darwin, followed by Wolf. In Darwin, we saw schools of hammerhead sharks, swimming all around, in the blue, along the reefs, below and above. Going into the blue to do the safety stop was amazing, where hammerheads were also seen swimming. The sea lions during the dives, interacted with the divers. Saw mobula rays, spotted eagle rays, turtles, dolphins, wahoo. Some of the divers saw a whaleshark in the distance. The visibility in Darwin and Wolf was at around 20 meters. The water temperature ranges from 25-27 C and the 7 mm wetsuit was comfortable to handle repetitive dives. I am very fortunate to have been able to join the Tiburon Explorer liveaboard, as diving in the Galapagos has been on my bucket list for quite a while. This trip made up for my bad experience in a liveaboard in the Maldives last October 2025. Where I was pushed by one of the dive crew as I was doing the giant stride, which resulted in landing badly in a water and a tear in my left upper leg muscle, that had me need to recover and do physical therapy for 3 months. The dive crew in Tiburon Explorer was exceptional, knowledgeable, conscientious and looked after the welfare of the divers.

Best trip we’ve ever had
Tiburon Explorer is the best of the best in Galapagos. It’s more expensive than others but totally worth it. All alcohol is included so you don’t feel nickel and dimed and this is valet diving at its best.

A Trip of a Lifetime
We had a wonderful time on the Tiburon Explorer. Everyone was attentive and informative. The boat and cabins were beautiful, spacious, and food was excellent. The crew made sure we had everything we needed. We had lots of assistance with gear. Our cabins were kept clean with made beds and fresh towels daily. We had a couple land tours that were informative about the islands ecology. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and checked all our expectations.

The best of the best!
I had high expectations of the trip, and it exceeded all of them! We had a group of wonderful other divers, absolutely amazing guides, and the crew were attentive and kind and full of humor. Our room was comfortable and luxurious, the food was good, and the diving was out of this world. It felt like paradise!

Absolutely incredible - the trip of a lifetime!
Honestly this is the best liveaboard I've ever been on and I've been on 10+ around the world. The boat was amazing, the service was incredible, and the experience was beyond anything I could have imaged. We saw dolphins, orcas, whale sharks, and schooling hammerheads all in 1 day! It was insane!!! This is an absolute must-do trip for divers! My husband and I can't wait to go again!

Best dive boat I've ever been on
I don't know if I can put into words how amazing this trip was. Sure, seeing the incredible sea animals was over the top, but much more importantly, the crew was kind, courteous, attentive. I'm not the diver I used to be, and they took special Care to keep me safe. They let me put my gear on in the panga, which was so sweet. Also taking our gear off in the water before getting back in the panga was a godsend. I think I developed a crush on my dive guides. Very knowledgeable, very professional, and it didn't hurt that they were both very attractive! If only I was 40 years younger!

The best diving you'll ever do on the best boat, with the best crew.
I cannot say enough amazing things about my liveaboard trip on the Tiburon Explorer. The boat looks exactly like the photos - sleek interiors and the most incredible cabins - so spacious! We enjoyed the hot tub after nearly every dive and had hours chatting and tanning on the sundeck. The food was so fresh, healthy and creative. However, the top highlights were the dives (duh, it's the Galapagos! We saw hundreds of hammerheads, WHALE SHARKS (on 4 of our dives at Darwin), mola molas, iguanas, seals, dolphins, it's simply the best diving in the world) -- and another highlight was the service from the crew, guides, and captain. I was absolutely blown away. Pre and post-dive, 5-star service - helping you adjust your gear, zip your wetsuit, put on your gloves; serving hot chocolate after cold dives; hanging your wetsuits and organizing all your gear for the next dive. When getting ready; I never had to ask for help; someone was just always there ready to assist. The captain (Jacinto) was at the dive deck during every single dive, helping check our gear and standing with the crew welcoming us back when we returned. Another example of above & beyond hospitality - we encountered poor visibility on our first day at Wolf Island; the next day we arrived at Darwin to much better visibility and whale sharks!!! Our group was elated and our guide (the incredible Jonathan!) mentioned that we might be able to have the captain request to stay another day at Darwin. We talked to the captain and he immediately contacted the park authorities and arranged for us to stay an extra day; where we had another 2 dives with whale shark encounters. The interior staff was amazing as well, remembering our preferences and always smiling. I have been diving for quite a while and have never seen a operation so well organized and efficient. I also worked in luxury hotels for years -- this was truly a luxury liveaboard experience. I've recommended it to all my friends and will absolutely be back on the Tiburon Explorer again. Hats off to the entire crew!
