The Danubio Azul is a 24.8-meter (81-foot) long liveaboard taking 16 passengers diving in the Galapagos. The Danubio Azul’s 9 cabins have private bathrooms with hot showers and air conditioning across its upper, main, and lower decks. The upper deck has a double cabin with ocean views and two single cabins, while the main deck offers twin cabins. The lower deck includes cabins with bunk beds and porthole windows.
The main deck has an al fresco dining area, a sundeck, a shaded diving area, and a dive deck. The Danubio Azul also has kayaks, snorkeling equipment, and Nitrox compressors. Exceptional experience
The trip was extraordinary from start to finish. The price-performance-ratio is 100% right. Danubio Azul is not a luxury boat, but it has everything you need for a week of diving. The crew members are local people and there is a lovely family atmosphere. Having fun is top priority although safety always comes first. The food was outstanding - the crew did an amazing job special thanks to Joel and Paolo it seems as if they were born underwater. Diving was breathtaking. The biodiversity is unique. Sharks and Rays as far as the eye can see. Even Mola Mola and Pinguins. A truly unique diving experience.

Boat quality low but also the lowest price. You get what you pay for.
Seeing over 100 scalloped hammerhead sharks. Very knowledgeable dive guides concerned about protecting this prescious environment, and safety of the divers.

Amazing week with Danubio Azul:)
I had such a wonderful time on Danubio Azul! The staff was amazing. They were patient, helpful, attentive, kind, and always had a smile on their face. They seemed to really enjoy their time onboard. The chef was so accommodating to dietary restrictions. The dive guides were very patient and knowledgeable. I met some lovely people and had an amazing week!

Very good deal for those who are not looking for luxury but an amazing marine life exeperience
Highlights: Whale sharks, hammerheads, mola molas, iguanas. We were a very lucky group, and we saw every animal you can expect to see in the Galapagos. Overall: Some of the best dives in my life. The liveaboard itself is not the most comfortable. The cabins are reasonably spacious. The food is good, but it starts to repeat itself, and it's not a buffet. You get the same as everybody else, but they are willing to adapt to your wishes. On the sun deck they're missing perhaps some sun bed. We definitely recommend it for those who are interested in marine life and not in luxury.

Avoid at all costs as this trip is not as advertised
The Galapagos Islands are incredible and the underwater marine life is magical. Please ensure you book with a reputable dive operator and avoid this liveaboard at all costs.
