The M/Y Aqua liveaboard in the Galapagos offers the choice of 7-night diving itineraries or 3, 4 or 5-night naturalist itineraries. Nine cabins spread over 3 decks cater to 16 guests onboard and a choice of twin or matrimonial bedding. Each room features a private en-suite bathroom, individually controlled air-conditioning, and storage space. Main and upper deck cabins also have picture windows to offer sea views. Social areas dotted around the yacht include a shaded outside lounge, sun deck, indoor lounge, and library and dining area. The cuisine served on board combines local Ecuadorian and international cuisine.

A wide range of activities is included in all itineraries, giving guests a chance to get up close and experience the unique wildlife of the Galapagos Islands. Naturalist cruises include guided hikes, bird-watching, and incredible photography opportunities. Divers will be blown away by the amazing marine biodiversity, with the chance to see whale sharks, schooling hammerheads, and even Mola Mola. A spacious dive deck has plenty of room for kitting up and gear storage. Two diving tenders make diving from the MY Aqua a comfortable experience, and enriched air nitrox is available for those certified. Divers will also receive a personal marine rescue GPS, a storm whistle, a diving beacon, and a surface marker tube for added safety and peace of mind.

Note: 50 logged dives is the minimum required experience for the Aqua, due to the more advanced conditions of certain dive sites.

Amazing diving and great value for money
Great Liveaboard with great dive spots. The Aqua boat „Penguino“ might be a little smaller than others, but everything is very good. Super experienced guides, good food every day, sufficient chill out areas. And the diving is amazing, even though we were affected by warmer water temperatures due to El Niño this year.

What a week! Magical wildlife and lovely people!
This week was the best diving of my life: hundreds of hammerhead sharks, several whale sharks, turtles, iguanas, dolphins, and most playful sea lions. Every dive was very unique and had another highlight! Please bear in mind that diving can be challenging due to currents and cold water but definitely worth it. The divemasters Juan Carlos and Jesus were super professional and made the diving experience super safe and most importantly great fun! The whole boat crew was so kind and helpful and the boat was very new and comfy. Surprisingly I had a great night's sleep! Also food was great! I am a vegetarian and was super happy in addition veggie protein sources were provided with every meal. The highlight of the week was all the interesting and lovely travel companions who became a little family.

We felt extremely safe, the guides and crew were very knowledgeable and are just wonderful people. And of course we saw absolutely spectacular things under and above water. Amazing week in divers’ paradise
Had an amazing week of wonder and awe as we discovered a wide variety of Galapagos underwater landscapes and wildlife, from large schools of hammerheads and whale sharks to Galapagos seahorses and red-lipped bat fish. Life onboard the Aqua was a dream: excellent service for an effortless week, with daily cleaned cabins and fresh treats welcoming us after each excursion. Had a great week on Aquas Pengiuno live aboard. The crew are outstanding, attending to every need with no issue. The quantity, quality and variety of doos was incredible considering its prepared on board in a small kitchen. The diving was amazing as you would expect at this location. All diving is done from RHIB’s and again the crew helping you get kitted up and into the RHIB are outstanding. So helpful. The dive guides are incredibly knowledgeable about the locations and history of the dive sites and islands. Added an extra element to the trip to understand the formation of the islands. Being there in September we were lucky enough to see everything we hoped to including whale shakes. Hammerheads, manta rays and even orcas. If I was lucky enough to go again, I would go with this boat again. Everything from being met at the airport to the diving was managed seamlessly by the company and the crew.

Excellent service, professionnel dive team, clean and comfy boat
The highlight of this trip was the diving. The guides were professional and took their time to show us the best underwater. They knew how to spot the whalesharks and wait for the best time to approach them. The wait staff was also superb, as well. The food was excellent with a nice variety each day. The rooms were cleaned often. Overall, it was an amazing experience!

I was able to see everything I wanted to see.
I didn't think I would be able to see all the fish at all the points. Whale sharks, hammerhead sharks, spotted eagle rays, sea lions, iguanas, mambo, ginger tornados. It was the most spectacular dive I've ever done.

Aqua live aboard provides a great way to explore the underwater wonders of the Galapagos Islands.
The unique diving experience; diving with sharks, rays Mola molas, sea lions and marine iguanas was a highlight that was made all the better by the efficiency of the organized crew getting divers in and out of the water. The food was excellent, served buffet style with many options, it was hard not to over eat. In most cases there was a soup or appetizer and always dessert. There were two long transits that went through the night. Several passengers experienced varying levels of sea sickness. Come prepared with anti nausea medication.

An incredible week full of wonderful diving
Wow! What a week! The crew is doing everything to make the best stay for everyone on board. I loved the hot showers right at the dive area on the boat and the fresh towels after each dive! :) There were plenty of vegan and vegetarian food options and snacks after each dive. The food was delicious! The diving gear was professional, everything worked well. The guiding under water was always amazing! I loved every single dive!! But make sure to know how to dive in these strong conditions before going on a boat around Galapagos ;) The cabins were cleaned every day. As I said, the crew is the best!! Best way to explore the Galapagos
I love the camaraderie on a liveaboard, and this one was no different. We saw hammerheads, galapagos sharks, mola mola, marine iguanas, and giant tortoises (mid-May). I thought the scuba guides, captain, and crew were very friendly and professional. The food was quite good.

A lot more and better than what I was hoping for!
The whalesharks , manta rays, turtles, iguana's and Galapagos sharks. Also inside the caves with the zodiac and diving. The food was superb, and verry, verry gentle and helpfull crew. One of the diveguides also films parts of the dives and makes a 20 min diving compilation movie wich is verry nice to see.
Recommended for
Many divespots each targetting a specific species. Extra guiding tours on zodiacs telling a lot over rhe islands and whildlife (also doing caves). The great food.
