The M/Y Aqua liveaboard in the Galapagos offers the choice of 7-night diving itineraries or 3, 4 or 5-night naturalist itineraries. Nine cabins spread over 3 decks cater to 16 guests onboard and a choice of twin or matrimonial bedding. Each room features a private en-suite bathroom, individually controlled air-conditioning, and storage space. Main and upper deck cabins also have picture windows to offer sea views. Social areas dotted around the yacht include a shaded outside lounge, sun deck, indoor lounge, and library and dining area. The cuisine served on board combines local Ecuadorian and international cuisine.
A wide range of activities is included in all itineraries, giving guests a chance to get up close and experience the unique wildlife of the Galapagos Islands. Naturalist cruises include guided hikes, bird-watching, and incredible photography opportunities. Divers will be blown away by the amazing marine biodiversity, with the chance to see whale sharks, schooling hammerheads, and even Mola Mola. A spacious dive deck has plenty of room for kitting up and gear storage. Two diving tenders make diving from the MY Aqua a comfortable experience, and enriched air nitrox is available for those certified. Divers will also receive a personal marine rescue GPS, a storm whistle, a diving beacon, and a surface marker tube for added safety and peace of mind.
Note: 50 logged dives is the minimum required experience for the Aqua, due to the more advanced conditions of certain dive sites.

Aqua liveaboard
I'm 67, with 500+ dives, and this was my first liveaboard, so I was a bit anxious. But, the trip fulfilled all my expectations, the crew is the best, food was excellent, the dive guides did their best to show us everything that is "available" this time of the year.

Nitrox should have been included in the price, since it us almost compulsiry to use it in this kind of diving trip. For the rest, all very good and pleasant. Extraordinary dive masters

World class diving on a comfortable boat
World class diving on a comfortable boat. Dive site were incredible, even if we were not blessed with great visibility and currents. Rooms were comfortable, good and plentiful food.

Great price/value liveaboard
Very comfortable liveaboard with great itinerary. The dive guides were excellent as well as organization of the diving itself (including gear preparation, transportation to the dive sites etc.). Cabins are well maintained and comfortable, food was outstanding. Overall very good value for money.

Great experience diving with Aqua
The trip was great. The rooms were nice and spacious, food was good especially options for someone who doesn’t eat meat, and the diving was awesome. The only complaint is our toilet didn’t work for most of the trip which is very inconvenient. The staff made this trip excellent by accommodating requests and keeping things fun.

Great value for money!
Great trip on Aqua. Very good crew, guides and fantastic diving. Only remark is that some cabins and communal areas are a bit small but worked fine with 12 people on our trip

Fantastic trip!
We saw lots of sharks, eagle and manta rays, even a couple mola mola and marine iguanas. The rental equipment is well maintained and safety is priority. The crew kept the boat clean, always helpful with any concerns and always with a smile. The dive guides are also naturalists with lots of info while on the panga rides and giving informative talks about the islands in the evenings. Only thing I would change is the beer to the Pilsener! 😁
