The M/Y Aqua liveaboard in the Galapagos offers the choice of 7-night diving itineraries or 3, 4 or 5-night naturalist itineraries. Nine cabins spread over 3 decks cater to 16 guests onboard and a choice of twin or matrimonial bedding. Each room features a private en-suite bathroom, individually controlled air-conditioning, and storage space. Main and upper deck cabins also have picture windows to offer sea views. Social areas dotted around the yacht include a shaded outside lounge, sun deck, indoor lounge, and library and dining area. The cuisine served on board combines local Ecuadorian and international cuisine.

A wide range of activities is included in all itineraries, giving guests a chance to get up close and experience the unique wildlife of the Galapagos Islands. Naturalist cruises include guided hikes, bird-watching, and incredible photography opportunities. Divers will be blown away by the amazing marine biodiversity, with the chance to see whale sharks, schooling hammerheads, and even Mola Mola. A spacious dive deck has plenty of room for kitting up and gear storage. Two diving tenders make diving from the MY Aqua a comfortable experience, and enriched air nitrox is available for those certified. Divers will also receive a personal marine rescue GPS, a storm whistle, a diving beacon, and a surface marker tube for added safety and peace of mind.

Note: 50 logged dives is the minimum required experience for the Aqua, due to the more advanced conditions of certain dive sites.

Excellent Value with World-Class Diving
Excellent overall experience. Aqua offers great value, the food was amazing, and the diving was outstanding with long bottom times. The dive guides were experienced and familiar with each site, while the daily schedule provided the perfect amount of time for both diving and relaxation.

Amazing diving and great value for money
Great Liveaboard with great dive spots. The Aqua boat „Penguino“ might be a little smaller than others, but everything is very good. Super experienced guides, good food every day, sufficient chill out areas. And the diving is amazing, even though we were affected by warmer water temperatures due to El Niño this year.

Aqua live aboard provides a great way to explore the underwater wonders of the Galapagos Islands.
The unique diving experience; diving with sharks, rays Mola molas, sea lions and marine iguanas was a highlight that was made all the better by the efficiency of the organized crew getting divers in and out of the water. The food was excellent, served buffet style with many options, it was hard not to over eat. In most cases there was a soup or appetizer and always dessert. There were two long transits that went through the night. Several passengers experienced varying levels of sea sickness. Come prepared with anti nausea medication.

Fun boat and once in a lifetime diving
The crew did a great job of setting a fun atmosphere with little celebrations throughout the trip (welcome and last dive, holidays, crossing the equator). Guides had great knowledge of the sites and were able to help us see all the species we were most interested in.

Great trip...wonderful crew!
The diving was very, very interesting - lots of sharks (2 whale sharks), and all the other stuff that you are supposed to see in the Galapagos. The crew was very attentive and went out of their way to make the trip great.

Great trip.
Obviously no animal sightings are guaranteed, but the crew knows where they are most likely to be, and did a great job leading us. I most wanted to see mola molas, we were told they were out of season, yet we saw a bunch! Saw a little bit of everything you would hope for on this trip. Crew was very helpful and safety minded. We had a fun group of passengers. Food was great

Amazing liveaboard experience in the Galapagos. The crew was very friendly and helpful, the boat was well maintained, great value for money overall in that part of the world. I had my own equipment so cannot comment on the quality of rental equipment. Plenty of food, various options always available. We were lucky to also have a great group of divers and had good times on board as well as underwater

Fabulous trip that delivered everything lt promised
The Aqua is a fine boat with a great crew, fabulous food, and the same diving itinerary as more expensive boats, with just one significant drawback -- tiny cabins. I was lucky enough to have a cabin for myself because there were only 13 divers on the boat (out of 16 max capacity), and my trip was perfect. If I'd had to share the cabin, it would have been a challenge, though other solo travelers who shared a cabin still said that on balance they had a great trip.

Professional operation, great crew. Best food I've ever had on a liveaboard. Encountered whale sharks, countless hammerheads, around 20 molas, half a dozen mantas, marine iguanas, sea lions and fur seals underwater ... but also orcas, pilot wales, and false killer whales from the boat..

I had an amazing time aboard the Aqua. From the moment I met with the crew, everything was a breeze. I didn’t need to worry about anything during the duration of the trip. The days and schedule were organized so well. The staff took care of everything so all we really needed to worry about was waking up on time :)

Amazing experience with trustworthy dive guides.
The cabins were really clean and the equipments were well maintained. The crew was just simply amazing, they were very accomodating and knowledgable. We felt safe navigating through Darwin and wolf despite the initial concerns for the strong currents. Liveaboard.com crew were also very responsive and comprehensive with their emails and communications

Dive the Galapagos aboard the Aqua!
Because the dive companies cooperate, we had spectacular dive sites to ourselves. We were not there for high season, but still saw an incredible selection of biodiversity. The food onboard was delicious and plentiful. On many liveaboards, we are the youngest divers, but this trip was full of really fun younger people. We would dive with the Aqua again!

A fabulous week on Aqua
We had some amazing dives during our week and we had a great mix of divers which made the week enjoyable, everyone got on well. We had a fabulous dive guide, Juan Carlos, whose knowledge, love and passion for diving in the Galapagos shines through. The boat is run extremely well and professionally with friendly and helpful crew. Food was also amazing, plentiful and varied. All in all a superb week on board Aqua. Thank you.

Spectacular experience
An amazing and memorable trip with Aqua in Galapagos. The staff was very friendly and attentive to every need. The guides Juan Carlos and Jesus could not have been better, super cordial and very attentive with security. The food and drinks are very good, you never go hungry! While Galapagos is an expensive destination, it's 100% worth it and I would definitely return to Aqua without thinking about it!

A lot more and better than what I was hoping for!
The whalesharks , manta rays, turtles, iguana's and Galapagos sharks. Also inside the caves with the zodiac and diving. The food was superb, and verry, verry gentle and helpfull crew. One of the diveguides also films parts of the dives and makes a 20 min diving compilation movie wich is verry nice to see.

Many divespots each targetting a specific species. Extra guiding tours on zodiacs telling a lot over rhe islands and whildlife (also doing caves). The great food.

The Galapagos Islands are a highlight in themselves, and to be able to experience them above and below was simply indescribable... The service on board was excellent, including the food, which was always fresh, delicious and plentiful. the chef had also taken into account all kinds of food intolerances and allergies and was able to offer tasty and varied dishes for these guests as well. Also TOP was the service of the crew for the tack walks, who were always very helpful and organized and the equipment was also handled conscientiously.Also positive to emphasize is that we could/were allowed to jump into the water again after dives with snorkels (when, for example, dolphins crossed our path) or we even took a little extra snorkeling trip to the sea lions. With the rubber dinghy we also went around the island of Darwin to admire the birds and the rock formations. These add-ons made the trip even better.Apart from the generally great underwater world, I would like to mention the cave dive in Wolf as a highlight of diving. It was not only a welcome change but also a beautiful diving spot in itself.

Best way to explore the Galapagos
I love the camaraderie on a liveaboard, and this one was no different. We saw hammerheads, galapagos sharks, mola mola, marine iguanas, and giant tortoises (mid-May). I thought the scuba guides, captain, and crew were very friendly and professional. The food was quite good.

Unforgettably beautiful liveaboard - A diver's dream
Our experience on the diving safari with the Aqua was completely positive.The trip was unforgettable – especially the spectacular underwater world around Darwin and Wolf was a real highlight. The sightings of large schools of hammerhead sharks, two encounters with a whale shark, as well as impressive groups of tuna, barracuda, eagle rays and other shark species have made this safari a unique experience. The dive at Fernandina was particularly impressive, where we were able to watch marine iguanas feeding underwater – a truly extraordinary moment.Everything was also right above water: the food on board was excellent, the crew was very friendly and professional, and the weather played along the whole time. All in all, a top organized trip with many unforgettable impressions.
