If any new booking that is made for travel between March 9th and April 30th is directly affected by the current global health situation (COVID 19), i.e. due to travel ban, quarantine, etc., you will be allowed to cancel and get a full refund.
This applies solely to vessels that are part of the Scubaspa fleet, namely Scubaspa Yang and Scubaspa Ying.
Both ships are equipped with a huge, well-designed diving deck and diving tender to transport you to those hard to reach dive spots. Once the day’s diving is done guests can immerse themselves in the ample onboard facilities. The comfortable cabins have the air of hotel rooms with a minibar and ensuite bathrooms done in an elegant style.
The onboard spa offers various treatments for guests including flower-filled relaxation baths and salt scrubs. What better way to unwind after a day’s diving than enjoy an individual or couples massage? For non-diving guests, the crew also offer morning yoga sessions and numerous spa treatments as part of the package. Guests can finish off their luxurious day in the jacuzzi or enjoy a drink from the ship’s bar.
As you might expect in one of the most popular honeymoon destinations in the world, the Scubaspa Ying and Yang offer something a bit special for those looking for a romantic break. The honeymoon package includes a candlelit flower bath, skin scrub, and a couple’s massage.
About the Destination
The Maldives is world-renowned as not only one of the most relaxing and romantic holiday spots in the world but one of the top diving destinations too. With beautiful atolls, housing a rainbow of reef fish and huge manta rays passing by both snorkelers and divers will be impressed. The visibility is excellent, up to forty meters in places, perfect for spotting passing thresher sharks, hammerheads, and even whale sharks.
Non-divers can enjoy long relaxing sunny days on the sun deck of the ship or head off on an excursion for the day. The Maldivian islands are stunningly beautiful with powder-white beaches and crystal-clear waters. The itinerary offers land excursions to Male City, Guraidhoo and an evening barbecue on a secluded beach.
About the ScubaSpa Team
The crews on the Scubaspa Ying and Yang pride themselves on providing a relaxing and luxurious experience for their guests. With 29 staff members for around 22 guests including a full team of spa therapists and a yoga instructor as well as the dive guides, guests will enjoy the finest service.
Food on Board the ScubaSpa Fleet
Scubaspa Ying and Yang describe their cuisine as fine dining with an emphasis on quality and variety. The onboard chef prepares both western and traditional Maldivian meals as well as a wide range of delicious snacks on offer throughout the day. Meals are served in the elegant dining room which offers group seating as well as a more intimate table for two.
The boats also offer a full bar service for guest with a wide range of soft and alcoholic beverages including cocktails and teas and coffees through the day. Guests can enjoy these drinks in the main salon, on the deck, or even in the jacuzzi.
