Diving with Blue Planet Liveaboards

The Blue Planet fleet liveaboards depart from Hurghada or Port Ghalib, depending on the itinerary and time of year. Dive safaris are typically 7 nights long, with up to 18 dives available. Itineraries are flexible to offer the best at the time, and divers are encouraged to set their own schedule. Early risers will have the opportunity to jump in the water first thing, followed by dives on the famous drop-off reefs in the Red Sea, starting after breakfast. Depending on the location, the day can be finished with a night dive.

All dives are guided by a professional guide who is very experienced in the local area, having dived the reefs for many years. The more experienced can choose to dive independently with a buddy after listening to the detailed dive briefing. Nitrox is included free of charge as standard for those certified, allowing for safer diving and more bottom time. Or if divers aren’t certified, the Enriched Air Nitrox course is available to take on board. There is also rebreather support, Sofnolime, and oxygen offered on board for divers with their own rebreather kit.
