The Sunshine liveaboard offers fantastic budget-friendly dive safaris in the Red Sea. Catering to 20 guests, there is plenty of room for relaxation in between dives. The air-conditioned indoor salon has a bar and entertainment area and ample seating for all guests to enjoy tasty Egyptian and Western cuisine. There is also an outdoor lounge and a partially covered sun deck with loungers. Cabins are simple yet comfortable, featuring twin beds, AC, private en-suite facilities, and storage space.

Itineraries aboard the MY Sunshine explore the best Northern and Southern Red Sea dive sites. South routes cover the Brothers, Elphinstone, Daedalus Reef, and the Salem Express. I traveled alone and felt very comfortable, despite being the only Brazilian on the boat.The staff was always concerned about serving us in the best possible way, the points chosen were the ones planned and when the sea got rougher they put safety first and changed the precise diving point to a protected cove until the sea calmed down, where we dived and were not harmed.Regarding the value, I am sure that the cost benefit is very advantageous and I certainly recommend taking a cruise on SUNSHINE

Boat was perfect for us, if you are there for the diving
Amazing boat - the staff couldn’t do enough for you and we were very well fed and looked after. As a vegetarian they took extra steps to make sure I was happy. The dive kit we hired was better quality than my stuff at home, so very happy with that. We were put into two groups, so around 6 people per guide, which we felt was comfortable. They gave us a great number of dives and really thorough briefing. For us this boat was everything we needed - you can spend more for a boat with bigger and more updated quarters, but for us it was all about the diving.

Good value for the money.
The boat is outdated but for the money it’s good. Very nice food. Super friendly and helpful staff. Only the dive guide was a bit moody on the briefings some days. Not enough hot water in the showers. Never hot after the second dive. Also never got a chance to dry the bath towels Disgusting how the boat was parked next to an old wreck of a boat full of smelly barking dogs, 20 of them. You also had to cross that boat to get onboard Sunshine. Luckily not among the dogs though. Slightly dangerous to step on a rope above the sea to get on board.

Virtually unbeatable experience/price
It is not the most comfortable boat due to space distribution and it is somewhat old but more than compensated by the proactivity of the crew and the abundant and varied food and drinks. Regarding diving, I did the North route and some diving points were repeated without much variety but we did a night dive outside the thislergorm that required a lot of experience and a cool mind due to the complexity of doing it with strong currents.
