Excellent from start to finish
Coral and sea life are in great shape, dive guides and boat staff went above and beyond, with great attitudes, to make us comfortable and safe. Cabin (the suite) was big with comfortable bed and great view(but they need to work on the black water smell in the bathroom). Food was more than plentiful and very good quality. Fair price for beer. I would book with Sea Serpent again.

A trip with good value
We went to Daedalus, Brothers and Elphinstone. The vessel is pretty new and cabins are nice. Crew was very welcoming and friendly. They made great food! Dive guides were knowledgeable and helpful. We saw a variety of marine life, I especially liked thresher sharks I have never seen before. Hammerheads were also nice. While diving far out (Daedalus and Brothers) was pretty good, there is no abundance of pelagic fish - some sharks and mantas here and there you have to wait long time to see. Reefs are not as colorful as in Indonesia and there is not as much pelagic life as in Galapagos. However, the trip to Red Sea is also much shorter and cheaper - so this was a great value!

As already described, the highlight was Mo Salah, we have never had such a mountain guide, the calmness he radiates helps everyone. Simply a 5 star guide. The atmosphere on board with the other guests was very harmonious

Boat in good shape, crew and guides amazing
First of all - what an amazing Crew. They left no request unanswerd (or unsolved), were attentive, friendly and well trained. The food was one of the best I've had in 10 years of safari. Our guides, Husseini and Amid, made an excellent job - on board and under water. The boat itself is in good shape, spacious and practical. Only the two ladders would probably work even better with some space between them, so you don't have to climb them "shoulder to shoulder" with the other diver and collide with your fins.

Innovative and exciting - Glorious Miss Nouran showed me some fantastic new dive spots
This has been my third liveaboard organised by the LA.com team, and I can guarantee that there will be a fourth. While I organised this trip at relatively short notice (i.e. a week), the team could not have been more helpful in helping me find the right trip with some fantastic and innovative dives. The cave and caverns that we dived throughout this trip were something completely different to anything I'd seen before, and every day I woke up looking forward to the next one, and what I would see. I've always been fortunate to meet some great people on liveaboards, which was another highlight for this year's trip. New friendships are made, talking about great diving (and always dive recommendations for the next trip) over great food. The guides were always helpful and supportive (keeping a clear eye out for safety issues without this ever becoming a "nag"), and were also great fun throughout. Another excellent week's diving, and one which I am already planning on repeating soon.

The dives! Some really great and unusual dives in the roster, with flexibility built in to accommodate where possible someone's dive interests, or to offer a back-up if a dive site is not possible.. The guides - real professional expertise and a clear interest in the safety and wellbeing of everyone, without this becoming a nag. Also, they were really fun guys - shoutout to Mo Salah!. The food - always excellent (seriously, I've always had to watch my weight after coming back from my last three liveaboards), and this trip was no exception. Always delicious, always more than enough..

We were very lucky and saw several Longimanus and a Treashershark. Some guides were super friendly, some were okay. The food seems a bit overrated, it's okay but nothing special, the dessert buffet was always quite big.

Wonderful Trip
I have to highlight that from the beginning it was very clear that SAFETY was front, back and center on SS Glorious Miss Nouran. This was very reassuring especially after the last couple of boats sinking/fires on liveaboards in the Red Sea in recent months. The whole crew and the dive guards were on top of keeping both our cabins safe (no charging things while we were outside the cabin, knowing where the emergency exist were etc.) and also safety when it came to diving, every diver had to have an SMB and know how to use it. Be careful of unsafe liveaboards on the Red Sea! We saw one liveaboard at Deadalus that was having an open fire BBQ in the back next to all the oxygen tanks being refiled. All the staff on the ship were extraordinary. Sammy, Galib, Samar, the Captain Mohammed, they were all on top of their game, made the guests feel reasured, were fun, but also paid attention to safety. I had a wonderful experience overall diving the Brothers, Deadalus and Ephistone. I look forward to booking again and going to the Deep South with the Sea Serpent fleet.

Fantastic week on the sea serpent.
We spent 7 days on the sea serpent, and we couldn’t have asked for anything better. The diving was world class. The boat is beautiful with plenty room for everyone. The crew is fantastic, they go above and beyond for the guests. I would definitely recommend and go ahead!

A great week
Although the ship is not that old, the cabins are partly worn out. Water damage in the cabin, which was provisionally repaired shortly before check-in. Cabin and bathroom have smelled accordingly or smelled bestial. Beds are very hard. Crew and guide Mahmoud were absolutely top. The best briefings and safety standards we've ever had. Each guest received an ENOS to determine their position in case they lost the group. Bassim brought chips and snacks in the evening while sitting together. The catering was top despite only 9 guests - both for the eye and for the palate. I was lucky enough to have the "Gala Evening" right after my 150th dive. There was seafood, turkey, pie - just amazing. The selection of drinks could be a little more extensive. Clips to dry the wet clothes on the railing would be great. Sharks were unfortunately in short supply. But nobody can do anything about it - that's nature.

Fantastic Experience
Sea Serpent as a company from top to bottom are very organised, always early and are well trained. The boat is extremely clean, the staff are incredibly helpful and well trained a true credit to the captain. The food is excellent. The dive guides are friendly and any issues at all - they have a solution. Nothing is too much trouble. Won't dive with any other operator from now on.

Brilliant weeks of diving
It was really an unforgettable week on the boat with great dive sites and a good group of divers! The cabins are nice and relatively spacious. Each has its own refrigerator, which is not common on all boats in the Red Sea. The guides partly responded to the wishes of the guests, but one of the guides had a very short fuse, which led to the fact that he felt personally attacked during the debriefing of a dive and became very loud, especially towards me. This also surprised the other guests very much. After the tempers were calmed down again, however, this could be forgotten and the rest of the week was simply fantastic and exactly according to my ideas!

great experience
The crew was fantastic, always helpful and treating us with delicious food. The guides (Fawzy and Samy) were the best imaginable guides. Super kind, attentive, and did their best to show us as much as possible. The boat was spotless and very comfortable. The only downside was the fading colors of the reefs, and we were a bit unlucky not to spot larger fish in the deep blue. But that’s nature, and no one’s to blame for it.

Slightly higher price compared to other liveaboard, but totally worth the price.
Overall it was a really great experience, especially on the crew services and food, plenty choices of food to choose from every meal, and the kitchen make sure they make enough food for everyone. Soft drinks are inclusive along the trip, and the crew make sure they are filled all the time. Direct and clear instruction from the dive guides, they ensure safety first and are more than welcome to help out anytime if you have any issue. Rooms are properly maintained and cleaned everyday, fresh towels are provided too.
