The 27m MV South Moon Liveaboard ensures a comfortable diving holiday in the Red Sea, Egypt.

With 9 fully air-conditioned cabins and en-suite bathrooms, the M/V South Moon can accommodate up to 18 guests. As you cruise around the beautiful Red Sea dive sites and watch dolphins play at the boat's bow, you can relax comfortably on one of two spacious sun decks aboard the MV South Moon Liveaboard. The dining and living areas are air-conditioned, cozy and comfortable. Fantastic experience
Everything was really right on this liveaboard. The boat is very well maintained, the whole crew helpful and very attentive at all times, a great cook who prepared delicious food and snacks for us every day, as well as, and that's why we were actually there, fantastic and very relaxed dives with 'Sayed'.... and there was still swimming with dolphins .... what an experience.Thank you to the entire team and the team at Liveaboard

21 dives on the best Sinai dive sites
Nice boat and good cabins, although the AC on the lower deck can be very noisy. Good food. Good choice of dive sites : the classics, plus more original and less crowded sites. Friendly and competent dive guides, great number of dives per day (21 dives in total, with one night dive each day). Fair prices, although some extras (Nitrox) were more expensive than advertised on Liveaboard.com. Overall, I'd recommend diving with the South Moon!

Was able to switch cabins when my cabin partner turned out to snore, and was able to switch to nitric halfway through, both of which were accommodating of them The cabins are fine, not fantastic but they work The vegetarian options weren’t great on the food, but the meat eaters said good things about the meat The dive sites could have been a little more varied towards the end but there was good variation in the beginning and we did have many truly amazing dives Crew were all extremely friendly and keen to make us happy

December 2024. Sinai route (Sharm el-Sheikh, Ras Muhammad, Thistlegorm, Tiran). Amazing experience diving with South Moon. The value is very tough to beat for the price of the Liveaboard/Safari (€ 940 for 7 nights, 6 days of diving). The crew with Ayman was awesome, and Fateh is an amazing DM who knows what he's doing and will give all the necessary information. The food is excellent. The boat and the rooms are dated and haven't been renovated in a while, but are clean and well-maintained.

We booked last moment an never looked back since then. Awesome diving with VIP dive masters and super helpful and friendly crew. The boat is very comfy and offers space for everyone to chill out after the dives. Food was delicious. The cabins can get way too cold, if the aircon is on, so bring hoodie.

FANTASTIC WEEK ON BOARD
All moments underwater. The beautiful landscapes of corals that seemed endless. The number of fish.

Great scuba to in northern Egypt
It was a great trip, and we had a great guide. During the trip out guide started giving us a option to try different dive sites, such as if we wanted to try find some Hammerheads or dive through a coral reef. Which was very nice. I had a great time and would definitely recommend.

South Moon review.
The trip was great, we had 9 divers in total which was brilliant, not too many divers in the water all at once which was wonderful. The whole team is so frinedly and approachable, they are like a mini family ready to help when ever needed. The diving was great with wonderful visability, exciting currents and plenty of colourful life to see.
