A Wonderful Week Aboard Sea Serpent
We had an absolutely wonderful week aboard Sea Serpent! The crew was incredibly professional, attentive, and genuinely caring. They made sure we felt comfortable and well looked after throughout the entire trip. We especially appreciated their strong focus on safety, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable and reassuring. The food was fantastic too! The dive sites at St. John's and Fury Shoals were truly special, with their amazing swim-throughs. What a magical experience!

Awesome trip
The trip on Sea Serpent was great (carefull: we were surprised to pay at the end of the trip 50€ fuel surcharge + 95€ euro unexpected surcharge, 35€ for a one dive used torch. All extras (including equipment rental and NITROX course) were increased by magical 3% and paid in Egyptian pounds with their own exchange rate...). Anyway, the boat was perfect, food of good quality and quantity, very nice and helpful crew and dive masters. Of course the diving sites were awesome with beautifull drops and corals and several shark encounters.

Outstanding, the professionalism and friendliness of staff made the trip
The route seemed to promise the opportunity to see sharks and other pelagic species. It was so much more; superb dive guides ensured safety, we had close encounters with sharks and turtles, beautiful reefs, great food and comfort on boat. Great Trip perfect dive guide
Many sharks to see, very friendly and funny crew with perfect dive guides made the trip unforgettable. The boat will go after the next trip to the drydock this is good because some things have to be renewed. Deadalus, Brothers and Elphinstone were very nice locations and we saw many many sharks! Boat for divers with few frills, often useless.
Having various liveaboard experiences, and not only in Egypt, I must say that I felt really good on the Sea Serpent. Not an excessively large boat, but not small, with everything tailored to the diver, nothing is really missing. Mooring in Port Ghaleb away from the evening noise of the bars and restaurants allowing you to rest on the two evenings of mooring. A lot of attention to safety both in the description of the boat and during the briefings, we also did the evacuation test for fire alarm. Friendly and accommodating crew. Varied and abundant cuisine, you will never be left on an empty stomach. Very good and prepared guides, well-conducted dives and almost always lasting 60 minutes. Nothing really bad on board, apart from maybe the very hard mattresses, I would definitely go back and indeed ... I'm already booking with them for November south route! My name is Andrea and I am a 67-year-old diver with some dives on my shoulders, patented Hypoxic Trimix.

Lots of travel to get to the boat but worthwhile in the end!
Although we're experienced divers, its been a few years since my wife and I had dived or even been on a liveaboard so my wife was a little worried about how should would fare. When she mentioned this to the guides they were very supportive and put is in a small group with some equally experienced people. Our guide, Claudia, made sure to check in on us and make sure we were comfortable for the first couple of dives which was thoughtful. For me the highlights were the caves and reef swim throughs, for my wife the big wall dives were her favourite. We both really loved snorkelling with the pod of dolphins. There was a good mix of sites, plenty to see, lots of turtles, juvenile sharks, barracuda, trevally ..

Great week away
This was a great trip. Although We've been on plenty of liveaboards, we'd never been on a Sea Serpent boat before, so was slightly apprehensive. Needn't have worried as the boat was brilliant, the crew really friendly and helpful and a really good itinerary. My only minor gripe was that the dive guides, whilst allowing us to dive our own plan, were a little slow to let us do that, so a few too many guided dives for my liking. also one of the guides was a little inconsistent in what he did - the dives that were guided rarely followed the dive brief. That is a minor gripe though and for anyone who likes being guided, I'm sure that's not a problem.
