The impressive 45m M/Y Sea Serpent Grand is a luxury Red Sea Liveaboard accommodating up to 28 divers. The MY Sea Serpent Grand has a total of 14 en-suite cabins with individually controlled air-con, music system, fridge and bathrooms with jet showers. There are 8 double or twin standard cabins located on the lower deck, 4 twin cabins located on the sun deck with ocean views and 2 Suites located on the main and sun deck with panoramic views and extra space. Excellent boat but dive sites not respected
A 20 min dive with 2 tiger sharks + 1 longimanus + 1 silky. AWESOME. the dive of the century!!!!!. It was supposed to be a rocky/zabargad/st John's trip. Why going to daedalus and not rocky/zabargad???? Unthinkable.....

Great diving, friendly crew, everything worked - more dive guides needed
There was a good atmosphere on the boat - largely brought about by the crew and guides. A special thanks to Sherif, who organized the daily routine and helped with all problems that might have arisen. There were only 2 dive guides for 21 divers, which was too little. Sometimes we dove in big groups that lowered the experience a bit.

Very nice crew and dive guides but management of sea serpent fleet is awful
Divespots with wrecks were great. Doing such a long ride to brothers islands to stay only one day for 3 dives is too short and at the end not worth it. We did the North & Brothers tour. Doing the last two days dives at spots they are so close to Hurghada where you also will find day boats was not really nice. The feeling was just to keep the tour easy and not having a longer ride than 1.5h at the end. And to be honest the sea serpent fleet management is just awful. On the last day they told the guests in a very unfriendly way around 120 € of alcohol and coffee are missing and if we would not pay for it they will take the money from the crew. It can happen that somebody misses to pay for ONE beer but over 30 beers were missing. The crew cannot be next to the guests watching them filling the list after taking a beer or something else all the time. So the manager cannot make the crew responsible for the missing things. The manager was unfriendly from the first second. It was my first time on a sea serpent boat and one of the guest who were on tour with them more than ones told me this issue with the management happend several times before. The safari, the crew and the guides were really great but this can ruin your holiday at the end and nobody will recommemd this boat. I was already with other companies on safaris in the red sea and something like this never happend before.

Beautiful trip
We really liked, how easy we could pass the airport of Hurghada at arrival because our driver already got the visa ready. The space we had on the boat was fantastic and there was really good food almost everytime. The crew was very helpful and courteous. Having the diving gear always ready is very convenient and the staggered diving in groups was well planned. In the end there was a doctor organised to come on the boat for the PCR-Test, what we really appreciated.

A really great diving experience.
The very well managed dives made the whole diving experience really exciting but also safe,easy and comfortable.Also very helpful and friendly crew and staff make for an addictive experience.The only problem was that it was impossible to lose weight no matter how much exercise you do as you as constantly fed really delicious food !

Great group dynamic on this trip, no cliques, great food. Only downside was no big shark sightings with our dive group, other group saw a Hammerhead, Last time I dived this itinery there were sharks galore but thats not the dive operators fault

PROs: - reserved the incredible sundeck double cabin for us without additional charge - airport pickup and free breakfast for the 2 of us arriving early - free dive torch for one of us whose torch was confiscated by border control in Germany CONs: - rude behavior of one of the diveguides (only underwater; however, to such an extent that a person of the management arrived to the boat to understand what the issue was) - few cleaning facilities on the boat for gear beyond cameras and torches (2 hoses for the entire boat) - we agreed on a time for the return transfer to the airport that was confirmed twice to us; however, for some reason the night before leaving, when double checking, it was said that it would be one hour later as agreed and could not be changed. As we would have arrived only 1.5 hours before plane departure, we thus had to pay for our taxi to the airport even though it should have been included

The crew were amazing. The food was excellent
The diving was amazing. The briefing was detailed and clear. But what stood out for me was the exceptional crew: from the captain, to the chef, wait staff and deck helpers. They were the friendliest and most hard working people I have met. The food was beyond my expectations with varieties, presentations and taste. I was joking that I could come back to the trip just for the food! The dive guides are professional, competent but it would be even more awesome if they could be more patient and gentle with less experienced divers.
