Highlights
The comfortable Red Sea Blue Force 2 dive liveaboard caters to up to 18 divers in 9 cabins. Each stateroom has twin beds, AC, a private bathroom, and showers. There is a choice of 5 lower deck cabins with portholes or 4 top deck cabins with large picture windows with ocean views. Common areas include the modern and bright main deck salon with a TV, DVD, multimedia player, and dining area. The upper deck features an outdoor lounge and bar, the perfect place to unwind with a drink and discuss the day's sights. On the top deck is a large sundeck with sun loungers and bean bags for soaking up the sun and relaxing in between dives.
Diving with the Red Sea Blue Force 2 takes place from the back of the boat, where guests will find the dive platform with storage space and 2 zodiacs for pick-up and drop-offs. There are 3 itineraries covering the best dive sites the Egyptian Red Sea offers. Routes cover the Northern dive sites of Brothers, Thistlegorm, Ras Mohammed, and Abu Nuhas, the Southern dive sites of Elphinstone, Fury Shoals, and Daedalus, and the Deep South area of St. Johns. Itineraries run back-to-back and can be booked consecutively for the ultimate Red Sea dive adventure.

Amazing week with amaing crew
The week on Blue Force 2 was amazing. We were just 6 divers so we had plenty of space in cabins. Coral Reef was one of the best one I dived in the world. Crew was amazing , food perfect and best class diving. Definitely recommeded!

Excellent diving and a great crew, with room for improvement on board
I will start with what matters most on a liveaboard, which is the diving, and here Blue Force 2 delivered. They had three guides on board instead of the usual two, so we were split into three groups by experience. It sounds like a small detail, but it made a real difference: nobody was rushed, nobody was held back. The briefings were good, and the guides clearly knew how to time their dives to stay away from the crowds. More than once we had a site almost to ourselves. We did 22 dives on the extended trip, three on the first and last days and four every day in between, most of them lasting 50 to 60 minutes. Nitrox was 31 percent every single fill. The crew were friendly and easygoing, and overall the trip ran smoothly. Now for the less good. I was surprised the route skipped some of the classic wrecks in Abu Nuhas (Like the Giannis D and Carnatic in particular). On an extended trip I would have expected it. The boat itself is tight. The indoor areas are small, and at mealtimes the buffet gets very crowded, with some of us ending up at little side tables. The food was tasty and there was plenty of it, but dessert was fruit, almost every day. Many boats in the Red Sea do a lot better on that front. My biggest complaint is Blue Force’s customer service. I sent them questions before the trip and never heard back (liveaboard.com, to their credit, did answer). When I arrived at the marina there was nobody there to meet me, and I ended up waiting three hours there before being able to put my luggage on board. Would I go again? For the diving, yes. But Blue Force needs to sort out its communication with guests, and if you like having space indoors, be aware that the salon is really small. The outside decks are fine and so are the cabins, so it’s really just at mealtimes that you feel it.

Relaxed excellence amongst friends
Of course Thistlegorm was spectacular and dive leaders adapted routes brilliantly to utilize currents and keep us away from other divers but the reef and wall diving was spectacular. Ras Mohammed & Straits of Tiran served up stunning corals, abundant fish life & sleigh ride drift dives time after time. We all have our favorites but I defy anyone to drift along the Small Crack avenue without being stunned by the colour & splendour. The crew were terrific & fun but a special thanks must go to dive guides Ali, Valeria and Jordi who took the experience to a whole new level. A magical week.
