Cursing during Covid

This was one of the first cruises after Egypt opened again for tourists. That felt very special and it was visible on the crew that they were eager and happy to finally be out there again. I’ve been already several times to the Red Sea and didn’t see anything new on this trip, but just being there without any other ship around you was my highlight. Less people less noise, etc. = more joy. It also seemed to me that there was more fish around.

Great boat but disappointing planning and dive guides

Note:: Although I booked this, we were moved on Red Sea Aggressor IV !! What a disappointment: no minimum dives required (and therefore little experience required) but very little (if any) supervision / help for "beginners" - only 2 dive guides for 23 participants (in accordance with Egyptian law but clearly insufficient to properly supervise beginners). Lots of people will choose to go without guide but generally there will be one guide per 10 - 13 people. The dive guide will jump in the water (without even checking if the entire group is in the water and ready to go down) and start rushing the entire dive, not stopping at all, not showing anything, not looking back. It happened to me multiple times that I wasn't even in the water and the guide already started the dive... The crew on the dive deck was amazing, friendly and really really helpful (putting on the suit, cleaning up equipment, etc) but sadly poor planning overall - i.e splitting in the groups was always chaotic, it was never clear who is part of which group. The leadership (cruise director, captain, etc) was mostly absent, not much interaction in general but the little interaction was very disappointing: poor planning, saying something & ending up doing something else, not listening and acting on feedback, etc. Definitely not a standard Aggressor experience.

very big cabins, new and comfortable boat, healthy coral reef (however not much marine life & choppy sea & cruising in April)

What an Awesome experience!!

We were actually on the Aggressor IV which is a new spacious boat. It was stunningly beautiful!! Most of the crew especially the deck crew and stewards went above and beyond to help you out and were very attentive. The diving was fantastic and the food was incredible!! My friend did a nitrox course which I feel was lacking in content/professionalism. The instructor(cruise director) literally spent less than 5 mins with him and then certified him without him even having the chance to look at any online resources. But other than that everything was perfect and I would highly recommend the Red sea aggressor IV

Dream Cruise

The whole trip was a single highlight. The crew was extremely friendly, helpful and competent. Every Day the food was a new delicious surprise and they even accommodated all my allergies and special requests. The cabins were cleaned twice a day with great attention to detail, so fast you didn't even know when they did it. The dive guides responded to each individual and provided professional support. I always felt safe and in good hands. The dive sites were beautiful and varied. The boat offers everything you need on a diving tour. Thank you for the unforgettable moments!

It was an amazing experience to be on that Yacht. Saw a lot of sharks and had an amazing time on the Yacht. The food was delicious and the whole crew was caring for the comfort of the divers. Really recommend the Red Sea Aggressor.
