The Ocean Lovers is a 45-meter/148-foot-long liveaboard with 5 decks taking 32 guests on dive safaris in the Red Sea. There are 10 double cabins and 6 suites with views, all air-conditioned and equipped with private showers and toilets. The saloon and dining area on the main deck is perfect for relaxing. Entertainment options include a 65-inch LCD TV, a DVD player, and a sound system. In addition, the Ocean Lovers offers free Wi-Fi throughout the ship as long as a mobile signal is available. The Ocean Lover's 2 sun decks are spacious, with sun loungers, lazy bags, hammock swing chairs, and a hammock swing. Ideal for relaxing between dives, reading a book, or enjoying the sunset. Part of the sun deck is shaded, so guests always have a choice of whether they prefer the sun or protection from the heat.
The Ocean Lovers offers the chance to explore the famous Red Sea wrecks and reefs, including the Tiran diving area, composed of four main reefs that form an underwater bridge near the Gulf of Aqaba. Named after British cartographers (Jackson, Woodhouse, Thomas, and Gordon), these reefs are famous for their coral life and large pelagic fish. Expect a combination of wreck and reef diving, with the Northern Red Sea boasting impressive wrecks like the SS Thistlegorm. Other sites include Abu Nuhas, the "Ships Graveyard," and the Brothers Islands, with their thriving marine life and colorful corals. Anticipate encounters with reef sharks, eagle rays, oceanic white tip sharks, Napoleon fish, thresher sharks, hammerhead sharks, grey reef sharks, and more.

The trip of a lifetime
Had the trip of a lifetime onboard Ocean Lovers! The crew is incredible and does everything to help you out and to ensure you are always safe. Everyone is extremely kind and always smiling! The food is incredible and the chef was very talented. The dive guides were very knowledgeable and provided great diving briefs and made me feel very safe in every dive. I booked a lower deck cabin, and for those who are light sleepers I recommend bringing ear plugs as you will hear the engine noise but the positive side is that you get more stability on cruising days if the sea is choppy. Be prepared for offline days as offshore trips means the wifi does not work, which to me was a blessing.

An unforgettable experience, the boat is beautiful and luxurious but the crew and guides are warm and without "fuss". Serious and professional when necessary, they are also funny and motivating. It was a real pleasure to spend this week aboard the Ocean Lovers. I fell in love with my guide, Samy, who allowed us to see dolphins, a thresher shark and who is the champion at flushing out moray eels, stone fish and scorpion fish.

Everything about this liveaboard trip was absolutely fantastic. From the delicious food, to the excellent organization, spotless cleanliness, and the incredible care and professionalism of the dive guides during every dive — everything was top-notch. It was truly an unforgettable experience and I will definitely, without a doubt, come back to this boat again. Highly recommended!

The Ocean Lovers and her crew was the best first experience for my first liveaboard. The crew is cleaning and caring for their ship every day. The kitchen offers everything your heart desires. The dive guides attach great importance to safety and the correct handling of the reef and its inhabitants.

Liveaboard July/August 2026
We started our trip in the harbor with a check dive. Over the following days, we visited some amazing dive sites in the middle of the Red Sea. One of the highlights was diving at Daedalus Reef and being able to visit the famous lighthouse. The whole trip was very well organized, the diving was fantastic, and we had an unforgettable experience. I can highly recommend this liveaboard to anyone who loves diving.

10/10 - incredible boat and crew
Boat and crew was amazing. Sadly we were very unlucky with the diving but that's no one's fault. The boat was pristine and the rooms were incredible. I would recommend this boat 10/10 times.

Wonderful trip
Great experience on the trip. All the deck crew were very friendly, especially those who helped me put on my 5mm wetsuit before every dive. It was also my first time seeing hammerhead sharks underwater. I was so excited.

Food,crew,guids and ship very good
Very nice ship and clean. The food really good. The crew and guids are very friendly and attentive. The dive sites also very nice. One point has to criticize icb. In the description it says that the crew speaks English and German, but not one on the ship spoke a word of German and that was actually a criterion for me to book this ship.

Great time on and in the water!!
You feel very comfortable on the ship right from the start. The crew does a great job and is always eager to help and support you.The dive guides really try everything to satisfy the divers. Great attention is paid to safety, so that you always feel safe and in good hands.The only thing that could be improved is the Wifi reception on the boat, even in the harbor it was a bit weak.Otherwise, there was no reason for complaints and it was just a wonderful week of diving, eating and enjoying the sun!
