Highlights
The Ocean Lovers is a 45-meter/148-foot-long liveaboard with 5 decks taking 32 guests on dive safaris in the Red Sea. There are 10 double cabins and 6 suites with views, all air-conditioned and equipped with private showers and toilets. The saloon and dining area on the main deck is perfect for relaxing. Entertainment options include a 65-inch LCD TV, a DVD player, and a sound system. In addition, the Ocean Lovers offers free Wi-Fi throughout the ship as long as a mobile signal is available. The Ocean Lover's 2 sun decks are spacious, with sun loungers, lazy bags, hammock swing chairs, and a hammock swing. Ideal for relaxing between dives, reading a book, or enjoying the sunset. Part of the sun deck is shaded, so guests always have a choice of whether they prefer the sun or protection from the heat.
The Ocean Lovers offers the chance to explore the famous Red Sea wrecks and reefs, including the Tiran diving area, composed of four main reefs that form an underwater bridge near the Gulf of Aqaba. Named after British cartographers (Jackson, Woodhouse, Thomas, and Gordon), these reefs are famous for their coral life and large pelagic fish. Expect a combination of wreck and reef diving, with the Northern Red Sea boasting impressive wrecks like the SS Thistlegorm. Other sites include Abu Nuhas, the "Ships Graveyard," and the Brothers Islands, with their thriving marine life and colorful corals. Anticipate encounters with reef sharks, eagle rays, oceanic white tip sharks, Napoleon fish, thresher sharks, hammerhead sharks, grey reef sharks, and more.

The Red Sea has been checked off the bucket list and Ocean Lovers did not disappoint. Highly recommended.
We just completed our week long trip aboard Ocean Lovers doing their Northern Trip. Most importantly we all felt that safety was a top priority for the crew and it showed in and out of the water. Our dive lead Ali had a group that demanded a lot of attention and he handled every situation and circumstance with professionalism, grace and patience. He is a true pro and as a fellow dive pro I know this week was not as easy as some. The boat crew was very attentive, friendly and truly cared. We do wish some of the dive sites were less crowded but that was not as a result of Ocean Lovers but the season and number of boats out at any given time. The Thistlegorm is a must see for any diver and the Salem Express is a must feel from an emotional impact as a human being.

Dolphins and sardines! A great trip on Ocean Lovers.
My wife and I along with four of our friends spent a week on Ocean Lovers in early September 2026 on the "North and Brothers" tour. We loved the diving and would recommend the tour to anyone who likes a mix of reefs, wrecks and walls. Highlights were Shark & Yolanda drift dive, the Thistlegorm (especially the night dive and diving it first thing in the morning before the day trippers arrive), Sha'ab Abu Ramada and Salem Express. At the Brothers we saw a Longimanus and a grey reef shark, both from a distance. At Sha'ab Abu Ramada we had a dream come true with a family of dolphins coming by on the first dive and then seeing a spectacular baby sardines (or glass fish, not sure) display at night! The crew and the food on the boat were absolutely fantastic, so kind and thoughtful with little touches in our rooms and a great sense of humour too! They also take safety very seriously - everyone gets a transceiver for the week and there is a very thorough boat safety and fire briefing which is comforting. Our dive guide, Simon, was great, such a fun character! Other guides were also good, though we thought the energy between them felt a little weird occasionally. Our friends did the AOWD course onboard and their instructor was trying his best but communication was sometimes a little difficult. Overall, I'd absolutely recommend Ocean Lovers, we were absolutely spoilt both under and above water!

Our stay aboard the Ocean Lover went perfectly, from start to finish. Everything was very well organized, from our reception at the airport to our transfer and arrival on the boat. Check-in was very easy and, throughout the week, we really enjoyed an exceptional stay. A big thank you to the whole team on board: the staff is lovely, attentive and always available. The kitchen is simply fabulous, the maintenance of the cabins and the boat is impeccable, and the general atmosphere is really very pleasant. We dived with our shawky guide who was great. He really did his best to offer us beautiful dives and, in particular, to prevent us from ending up in the same place as the other groups. We really appreciated this attention and the quality of the supervision. We would also like to thank all the little hands who accompany us during the dives and who make the stay even more comfortable: helping to put on the vest, installing the fins, retrieving and taking care of the camera when we get out of the water... All these small gestures are precious and really appreciated! Congratulations also to the entire team who take care of the maintenance: the cabins and the boat are perfectly maintained. And of course, the dives were beautiful! 🤿🐠We recommend the Ocean Lover and this type of stay without hesitation. We will most certainly come back with great pleasure to discover another itinerary. Focus on diving and relaxing.
We had a very nice week on this boat. The communication about how everything works is very good and the team is well attuned to each other. Good briefings about diving and good, experienced guides. The division into groups meant that no one got in each other's way. The boat itself was also quite comfortable. Our cabin was cozy and clean and had a good bed. The whole team made sure that we lacked nothing. The meals were delicious.

Unforgettable time - Absolute recommendation
I had an absolutely awesome time on the liveaboard! Everything was just right from start to finish: * Diving & Guides: The dives were fantastic and the guides were absolutely top – super professional, experienced and showed us the best spots. * Crew: The entire crew was incredibly warm, helpful and took perfect care of us around the clock. * Food: The food on board was superb – plentiful, fresh and extremely tasty after the dives. * Boat: The boat was in top condition, clean and offers everything you need for a relaxed tour. Many thanks to the whole team for these brilliant days. I will definitely be back!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely incredible liveaboard experience — 10/10!
We’ve just finished an amazing 7-day trip on Ocean Lovers, and honestly, we couldn’t fault a single thing from start to finish. The five dive guides were fantastic. We felt completely safe throughout the entire trip, and it was obvious how experienced and knowledgeable they all were. They were always ready to help in any situation (I had real problems with my mask to begin with) They explained everything so clearly, and made absolutely sure that everyone understood the brief 100% before getting in for every dive. Their professionalism and attention to safety gave us complete confidence throughout the week. The entire crew on board were by far the best we’ve ever experienced. Everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Nothing was ever too much trouble. You could really tell that so much thought had gone into making the whole experience special — even the little details hadn’t been overlooked, one of our favourite touches was having music playing while we were getting ready for a dive… honestly, it was an absolute vibe and made getting geared up even more fun! The boat itself is absolutely luxurious. It’s beautifully maintained and kept spotlessly clean, and you can really see how much effort the whole crew puts into keeping everything in perfect condition throughout the trip. And then there’s the food — absolutely outstanding! The quality was incredible and honestly more like something you’d expect in a really nice hotel rather than being out at sea for seven days. Every meal was delicious and there was always so much care put into everything. From the diving and safety to the crew, the boat, the food and all the little touches in between, everything was exceptional. We genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better trip. A huge thank you to the entire Ocean Lovers team for making our week so memorable. We would 100% recommend this liveaboard and would happily do it all over again! We’ll definitely be back very soon to do the North trip!
