Highlights
The Ocean Lovers is a 45-meter/148-foot-long liveaboard with 5 decks taking 32 guests on dive safaris in the Red Sea. There are 10 double cabins and 6 suites with views, all air-conditioned and equipped with private showers and toilets. The saloon and dining area on the main deck is perfect for relaxing. Entertainment options include a 65-inch LCD TV, a DVD player, and a sound system. In addition, the Ocean Lovers offers free Wi-Fi throughout the ship as long as a mobile signal is available. The Ocean Lover's 2 sun decks are spacious, with sun loungers, lazy bags, hammock swing chairs, and a hammock swing. Ideal for relaxing between dives, reading a book, or enjoying the sunset. Part of the sun deck is shaded, so guests always have a choice of whether they prefer the sun or protection from the heat.
The Ocean Lovers offers the chance to explore the famous Red Sea wrecks and reefs, including the Tiran diving area, composed of four main reefs that form an underwater bridge near the Gulf of Aqaba. Named after British cartographers (Jackson, Woodhouse, Thomas, and Gordon), these reefs are famous for their coral life and large pelagic fish. Expect a combination of wreck and reef diving, with the Northern Red Sea boasting impressive wrecks like the SS Thistlegorm. Other sites include Abu Nuhas, the "Ships Graveyard," and the Brothers Islands, with their thriving marine life and colorful corals. Anticipate encounters with reef sharks, eagle rays, oceanic white tip sharks, Napoleon fish, thresher sharks, hammerhead sharks, grey reef sharks, and more.

Dolphins and sardines! A great trip on Ocean Lovers.
My wife and I along with four of our friends spent a week on Ocean Lovers in early September 2026 on the "North and Brothers" tour. We loved the diving and would recommend the tour to anyone who likes a mix of reefs, wrecks and walls. Highlights were Shark & Yolanda drift dive, the Thistlegorm (especially the night dive and diving it first thing in the morning before the day trippers arrive), Sha'ab Abu Ramada and Salem Express. At the Brothers we saw a Longimanus and a grey reef shark, both from a distance. At Sha'ab Abu Ramada we had a dream come true with a family of dolphins coming by on the first dive and then seeing a spectacular baby sardines (or glass fish, not sure) display at night! The crew and the food on the boat were absolutely fantastic, so kind and thoughtful with little touches in our rooms and a great sense of humour too! They also take safety very seriously - everyone gets a transceiver for the week and there is a very thorough boat safety and fire briefing which is comforting. Our dive guide, Simon, was great, such a fun character! Other guides were also good, though we thought the energy between them felt a little weird occasionally. Our friends did the AOWD course onboard and their instructor was trying his best but communication was sometimes a little difficult. Overall, I'd absolutely recommend Ocean Lovers, we were absolutely spoilt both under and above water!

Unforgettable time - Absolute recommendation
I had an absolutely awesome time on the liveaboard! Everything was just right from start to finish: * Diving & Guides: The dives were fantastic and the guides were absolutely top – super professional, experienced and showed us the best spots. * Crew: The entire crew was incredibly warm, helpful and took perfect care of us around the clock. * Food: The food on board was superb – plentiful, fresh and extremely tasty after the dives. * Boat: The boat was in top condition, clean and offers everything you need for a relaxed tour. Many thanks to the whole team for these brilliant days. I will definitely be back!

SUPERB TRIP ON OCEAN LOVERS
Spacious, well maintained and clean boat. Food excellent and varied. Excellent safety with detailed dive briefings and they operate the ENOS system on board. Nitrox provided. Three dives on the Thistlegorm the highlight of the trip. The boat also has three zodiacs.

Focus on diving and relaxing.
We had a very nice week on this boat. The communication about how everything works is very good and the team is well attuned to each other. Good briefings about diving and good, experienced guides. The division into groups meant that no one got in each other's way. The boat itself was also quite comfortable. Our cabin was cozy and clean and had a good bed. The whole team made sure that we lacked nothing. The meals were delicious.

The trip of a lifetime
Had the trip of a lifetime onboard Ocean Lovers! The crew is incredible and does everything to help you out and to ensure you are always safe. Everyone is extremely kind and always smiling! The food is incredible and the chef was very talented. The dive guides were very knowledgeable and provided great diving briefs and made me feel very safe in every dive. I booked a lower deck cabin, and for those who are light sleepers I recommend bringing ear plugs as you will hear the engine noise but the positive side is that you get more stability on cruising days if the sea is choppy. Be prepared for offline days as offshore trips means the wifi does not work, which to me was a blessing.

Wonderful team.
I’ll give this trip 99/100. The ship is beautiful, with spacious clean cabins and lots of communal space both inside and out. The staff really are the highlight of the trip though. They simply cannot do enough for you. Simone was my dive guide and he was great fun, very knowledgeable about the dives and kept us all completely safe. He was also super friendly both on the clock and off it. Hammad was an absolute joy. He worked in the bar and restaurant and also looked after my cabin. Everytime he saw me he greeted me by name with a lovely smile and a few friendly words. Made me feel so welcome and comfortable, especially as I was travelling solo. He was up late at night tidying up after any partying guests and still back at it at the crack of dawn the next day, with the same friendly smile and greeting. He is an indispensable asset to the team. The guys who helped with getting your gear on or off were top banana as well. The second you sat down to don your bcd they were there to help. Even putting your fins on for you so you didn’t have to bend down! They were all really friendly and really helpful. The food on board was amazing. How they put out that variety and deliciousness of food 3 times a day out of such a tiny kitchen is amazing. I’ve deducted 1% from the perfect score - 0.5% deducted because the air conditioning was hugely inefficient in my cabin and it looks about 100 years old 😂 it was good as a fan but did not remove any heat from the cabin whatsoever. When I arrived the room temperature was 30oC and after running the ac for about two hours the cabin temperature was 29.5oC and that was only because the sun had gone down! They came and looked at it twice for me so they definitely wanted to help, I just think it’s well past its use by date. I got used to it in the end though and just slept on top of the covers. Surprisingly I didn’t suffer too much. The other 0.5% deduction was for the “free WiFi”. The free WiFi was only when we were in signal range of land and it was unpredictable at best. When out of range of land (so for about 3 days of the 7) they have star link, which works great when connected but you must pay for it (15 euro for 7gb) and it constantly kicks you off so you need to get Ali to reconnect it for you (because the pin is one time use only, so if you disconnect / get kicked out you can’t reconnect it yourself. I did feel uncomfortable going to Ali constantly asking him to reconnect me, I felt like I was nagging him, but to be fair I had paid for WiFi and it’s not my fault their system is unworkable in the real world. On the whole this trip was incredible. I plan to go back to the Red Sea to do the northern wrecks itinerary. When I do it will most likely be on Ocean Lovers because I see no reason to go anywhere else 👍 I really hope this company appreciates the value of their team because they made this trip what it was - brilliant.

Ocean Lovers - Fallen in love with the Red Sea
First Liveaboard experience and definitely will not be the last on Ocean Lovers. Exceeded expectations from start to finish and I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to dive in the Red Sea. A special shout out to Sami the shark whisperer, our guide throughout the week who so clearly lives the Red Sea and give us so many memories
