The Ghazala Explorer liveaboard in Egypt is a modern 37mtr/121ft motor yacht offering itineraries throughout the Red Sea area. It can take up to 24 guests in 12 air-conditioned, ensuite cabins, consisting of 9 twin bed and 3 double bed cabins, including suites. Ghazala Explorer has a spacious, bright indoor dining and lounge area for guests to enjoy prepared meals or relax with a drink. There is a sun deck with seating areas, bean bags, and either covered or open areas for those who prefer to be in the sunshine. A large dive deck to the rear allows storage of dive equipment and plenty of space to get ready for dives, and the rear platform makes getting on and off the tenders more accessible.

Great liveaboard with perfect comfort
Great liveaboard, in maybe not optimal weather. Very friendly and helpful staff and super nice dive guides. It might be desirable to have shower gel and shampoo in the showers, because then additional weight could be saved on luggage. The toaster was partially defective, but was very quickly replaced by another old toaster ;-). The staff is helpful and accommodating. The dive guides were super nice and real friendships were formed. The boat is very new and always clean. Sure, the sound insulation is not optimal, but you can still sleep even with engine noise. All in all, a really great experience.

Amazing dive trip, would recommend again and again :)
Many of the guests actually were on the boat a second or third time as they loved it so much which I completely understand. I will rebook the Ghazala Explorer as well when I want to return to the Red Sea as it was an amazing trip. The dive locations were just brilliant combined with a super friendly crew and the high level of comfort of the boat overall (from cabin to lounge to sun deck to diving deck) created a great dive trip.

Great stay in the North Red Sea!
A pleasant, smiling and professional crew, taking care of us to make sure we had an excellent stay in the Red Sea.The food was plentiful and excellent throughout the week, with a perfect mix of Egyptian and international food. The boat is very well maintained, and safety is well ensured during the dives: safety first!Very nice dives in the North of the Red Sea with the incredible Thistlegorm, the Giannis and to finish a superb encounter with a school of more than 10 dolphins. Can't wait to come back to do the BDE South Route!

Great boat and crew
I've done three Liveaboard's in the Red Sea the Ghazala Explorer being my fourth, i was impressed from the moment i stepped onboard, the boat is only a year old and very well designed, i stayed in the upper deck cabin and was impressed by the size of the cabin and how well designed it was. All the crew were very friendly, the dives were great, i saw eleven Hammerhead's at Daedalus...amazing ! I will definately be booking the Ghazala again, thank you for a great week !
