Highlights
The Emperor Superior, a member of the Emperor Fleet of liveaboards, offers fantastic year-round diving in the Egyptian Red Sea. She caters to 26 guests in 13 staterooms with four different cabin options. All cabins have a private ensuite bathroom, individually controlled AC, storage space, and two towels per guest. The spacious air-conditioned salon with an entertainment system and dining room serves freshly prepared cuisine throughout the day. There is also an al-fresco lounge at the front of the main deck, perfect for dolphin spotting or enjoying a drink with fellow divers at the end of the day. Two sundecks with loungers mean ample space for all guests to relax between dives.
Itineraries aboard the Emperor Superior liveaboard are week-long, many of which offer more than 21 dives per trip, ensuring divers get the most out of their Red Sea dive safari. With camera set-up stations, charging areas, and dedicated rinse tanks, she is a photographer's dream. The dive deck has individual gear storage, ample space for all divers to get ready comfortably, and two dive tenders to make getting to and from the dive sites hassle-free.

Emperor Superior
Just wow. Could not fault anything. Hany and Hassan are both excellent dive guides and really friend onboard. All of the crew from deckhands to chefs to salon crew to engineers and captain were also very happy, friendly and helpful. The room was kept clean and tidy. The food was varied and delicious. All dive briefs were clear and easy to understand, you felt very safe on all dives. I would definitely recommend to dive on the Emperor Superior, and I’ll definitely dive with Emperor Divers again.

Amazing boat and even better crew
The crew leader/dive guide, Sonia, is fantastic; so knowledgeable and experienced. She has an amazing way with people and made everyone feel comfortable and well cared for as well as bringing a great sense of humour to the trip. The second dive guide, Eric, is also very helpful and is great at balancing a laid-back attitude with an attention to safety. The rest of the crew are amazingly helpful and diligent. They are constantly cleaning and helping out all the customers. They will help you get kitted/unkitted every dive and it’s so nice to be greeted with a warm drink every time you come out the water. The boat itself is beautiful. Comfortable rooms with A/C and hot showers. Plenty of areas to relax inside and outside the boat. The quality of the furnishings was also surprisingly good. Last but not least, the food! The most delicious 3 course meals 3 x a day as well as lovely cooked snacks during the day (I was a particular fan of the samosas). I would pay good money for this quality of food in a restaurant so to be treated to it 3 x a day every day is a real luxury.

Wonderful week in spite of the wind
From start to finish, the crew were warm, friendly and helpful. Their experience was evident and their enthusiasm was apparent. The boat was very comfortable and was reassuringly stable. We suffered a week of high winds but they managed the situation well and selected safe sites to dive and moor by changing itinerary as was essential and kept us well informed throughout. We are experienced divers and were able to follow group or go independently as we wished. Diving was well organised but not restrictive. Our guides, Eric and Aly were excellent and there is always at least one guide in the water with guests. Food was good and we felt very well looked after. The trip was excellent value for money without the dreaded bill at the end which You’re often presented with on other boats and the tipping process is discreet as you pop your envelope through a slot into a box which they deal with later. We were given slippers, robes and gifted a dry bag plus Egyptian sims for our phones, very nice touches. I would highly recommend Emperor as a company and Superior as a great boat.

A really fun adventure- I’d highly recommend it!
Not having dove for a while, I found the the dive guides very patient and helpful- they helped get my diving skills back up to par quickly. Diving and interacting with a pod of dolphins was amazing, as was exploring many of the wrecks. A superb trip!

Dive packed and great value
Dive guides and crew were just awesome, the itinerary was also very good. Boat size was good as was the number of divers we had which was under the max, we had 17, anymore would feel very cramped. Great value for the money.
