M/Y Emperor Elite, Egypt is a 38m custom-built liveaboard offering year-round diving to some of the best sites in the Red Sea. She can accommodate up to 26 guests with a crew of 10 on hand to ensure their satisfaction. With an emphasis on comfort, Emperor Elite has 13 cabins equipped with individual air conditioning and en suite bathrooms. 8 standard cabins are located on the lower deck, 3 premium twin cabins on various decks, then 1 Premium Executive suite and 1 double Junior suite located on the upper deck. Emperor Elite features two air-conditioned salons with a bar and TV/Video/DVD/CD, and a large shaded sundeck for relaxing. Trip was good, but organization was unprofessional and cheap. Instead of spending the last night on boat, we got kicked out the day before and placed in the cheapest hotels. Also, we did not get the notice until the day when they were kicking us out. Transportation was available but only by private car which was more expensive than taxi. Emperor is charging me 60euros from Hurghada to Port Ghalib. This was my 22nd liveaboard in Egypt, first time with Emperor, and all other liveaboards provided group transport for free or small fee. Also, it is unheard to spend the whole week with new friends and do not have last dinner and last drinks together. After the last dive, boat crew gave us plastic bags to put our wet diving gear in it. Half people were taken to 3 star hotel in Marsa Alam (according to booking it is the worst hotel in area) and the other ones were taken to not much better hotel in Hurghada. No personal touch and no carrying for clients whatsoever. It is all about money.

We had a great time, mostly because of the crew—they were fantastic!!
We dove with dolphins. The underwater geography was amazing. We enjoyed seeing the variety of soft coral and fish that we do not normally see in the Caribbean.

Dive, Eat, Sleep, REPEAT
Multiple hammerhead encounters and a couple of Oceanic Manta Rays. Our zodiac took us into a dolphin pod where we jumped in to swim and play. Unreal!! Great time with a United Nations of ship mates from all over the world. The crew and guides were fantastic. From coaching during early dives to nearly every meal being incredible our experience was unparalleled! Can’t wait to do it again!

High Quality Diving Boat
Diving with bottle nose dolphins, hammer head sharks, manta ray and some of the most beautiful corals I’ve ever seen. The crew planned ways to avoid the crowds by starting our dives early. Those efforts were greatly appreciated. Also, the crew was very attentive to every need. And every meal there was an abundance of good food.

You get what you pay for
I have been on several liveaboards around the world and this trip was by far the least expensive - but at a cost. The lower cabins reeked of diesel fuel & made sleeping at night unpleasant. Moreover, all of my clothes and luggage smelled like diesel fuel even after getting off the boat, which is completely unacceptable. If it wasn't for that, I would have rated the trip higher. I was also lucky enough to have to my own room. Overall, the crew were great, food was plentiful but just ok in terms of taste & quality, and diving was descent. But definitely not a trip I would take again.

First liveaboard experience
We saw hammerheads and oceanic white tips while diving. The Diving did not disappoint the visibility was over 100 ft each dive. Vibrant colors of corals and fish. Celebrates my birthday on the boat and the chefs cooked a special order cake for me. The staff was world class and the dive guides were second to none. After 30 yrs of diving this was the best week of diving that I have ever had

Just go. Seriously, just go
Experiencing a liveaboard for the first time, this exceeded my expectations. The diving has spoiled me for everything I will do from now on. The crew and the boat set up made it so easy to roll out of the dive briefing and be in the water in minutes. This was both the most exciting and most relaxing vacation I've ever had.

My second liveboard on Elite
Very nice dives, well meet on board by crew and guides. Nice mix of nationalities among the guest. Sadly my cabinsealing was all wet and was leaking because of earlier wave. Didn't feel like the cabin lived up to standard feeling murky and damp for three days. The crew helped and did there best. Otherwise realy nice food very nice as always and guides very nice people . Sadly Internet was down even when there was reception witch is very sad and bad since that was one of my chooses for this boats specific . To be able to keep in touch. It not managed better by company the can't market it like that. The favour is very appreciated among Al guest if working

Great diving experience in the Red Sea
The food was exceptional and diving was quite nice. We couldn't go to St. John's because of the weather, but Deadalus and Elphinstone totally made up for it. The crew made the best decision under this circumstances, but also involved us in the decision. Saw hammerhead sharks, oceanic white tips, turtles and loads of colorful reef fishes. The crew is very nice and helpful all the time, so you can enjoy your diving holiday. Highly recommended if you plan a trip to the Red Sea.

Excellent hospitarity Crew and Guides
There are 10 nationalities on board. I really enjoyed not only underwater but also boat life. There held BBQ dinner on the top deck, every one danced and laughed so much. We started the week as stranger and we ended the week as friends. クルーのホスピタリティ、オーガナイズされたシステム、エジプトとは思えません。お勧めです。

Amazing trip, really well organised and fantastic value for money
I was really impressed with the whole trip, from arriving at the airport, everything was taken care of and organised really well. The boat was very comfortable and well maintained and the crew went out of their way to make everything as good as possible. The diving was really good and showcased the best that the area has to offer. Will definitely be returning in the future.

The best way to dive! Possibly the best way to travel!
After having a rather disappointing experience in Egypt due to our baggage having been severely delayed, arriving at Hurgharda Airport to find an Emperor transfer bus (Who was collecting other guests, we had missed a connecting flight due to lost baggage) and a friendly well spoken driver who immediately began to put us at ease, offering us wifi to contact our worried family and calling the office to make other required arrangements. This was just the beginning, but most definitely characteristic of the amazing service we came to expect from the staff of the Emperor Elite and Emperor staff in general. Our cruise was amazing, the boat was clean and well kept and well stocked, we wanted for nothing. The chefs did a wonderful job, providing plenty well prepared delicious dishes throughout. The crew on board were friendly and helpful. Exceptionally so. The diving was extraordinary and will remain a cherished memory for as long as I live. The dive guides were impeccable and will remain friends for a long time to come. I would most definitely recommend a trip to the red sea with Emperor and if possible on the Elite.

Outstanding Experience with an amazing crew and Co-Divers!
This was our first Dive Safari, and it was an amazing experience. The Emperor Elite is a spacious and comfortable ship and has all that you need on board for a great safari experience. The crew is extremely helpful in every aspect; The Diveguides, Momo and Saad look after each and everyone - you can be sure to have lots of great dives. The Emperor Elite is really well equipped - being provided with Nitrox is a great plus, and there is enough comfortable options in the lounge area to charge lamps, computers, cameras etc... This cruise was very special as it was a group of 26 guests, from 15! different Nations - ranging from 20 - 1000+ dives, not only it has been great fun to get to know many different people - but you could also learn something from each and everyone. Momo and Saad were our guides - and I never had such professional briefings prior diving in my previous 5+ years of diving - they are wonderful guides and extremely nice people. But that is true for all the crew on board. And the food the chefs create on board throughout the day, is nothing but stunning - super tasty and nicely presented - and with a variety that there is something for everybody. A big thank you to everyone there!!

Better than a 5 star hotel
There were highlights for each dive, but being on scuba with a pod of 14+ dolphins around us for almost 10 minutes was incredible. Diving the Thistlegorm has been a goal ever since I started diving 18 years ago, and being able to dive it 3 times, one after the other was truly a wonderful experience. Our guides and boat went to great efforts to ensure that the sites we visited were easy to dive without there being the need to swim too far or be overwhelmed by other diving tours - Most of the time we felt like we were the nylon divers there, and the Red Sea belonged to us. We will definitely be back!

Amazing Diving Safari in the Red Sea
The liveaboard experience was amazing. The boat itself was very spacious and provide the divers all the necessary services to be as relaxed as possible and only focused on diving. The itinerary was great, selecting the dive sites carefully and giving very detailed briefings of each site. The food was excellent, having a wide variety of dishes and desserts. Overall, a perfect place to do a liveaboard trip.

First time diving red sea and I really enjoyed diving with Emperor elite. All the dive breefings where very detailed and the guides made sure everybody where comfortable underwater. Ss Thistlegorm and Shark&Yolanda where my favourite dive sites. The crew where highly professional and you were always helped before and after dive with your gear. Cabins where super clean and comfortable. Highly recommended! Will do it again for sure :)

Diving on Abu Galawa Soghaywr which is a site like no other with cathedral sized hard corals.

Small group of us so we bonded really well. Dive guides sense of humour although the diving wasn't as good as it was in February this is only because we didn't see any sharks, turtles or dolphins absolutely not emperors fault there wild animals lol

First trip to Egypt won’t be the last
Ok so obviously the diving was fantastic with some amazing wrecks and reefs. Food on board was good quality and no dodgy stomach issues for anyone. Only downside was diesel smell in the cabin but it’s a liveaboard so it’s just one of those minor thins

Professional, helpful and full of knowledge
It was nice to be back with Emperor and finding the same dive guides as last year, this made my trip very comfortable, I’m going to the Maldives on April 30th again with Emperor, I do think that they are the best dive operator out there
