Join the Discovery II liveaboard for a dive trip to remember in the Red Sea. Completely renovated in 2018, she offers bright, modern living space for up to 22 divers in 11 cabins. There are 6 standard cabins with twin side-by-side beds on the lower deck along with 1 Honeymoon Suite, and a further 4 Honeymoon Suites are on the upper deck. All cabins feature ensuite bathrooms, AC, and storage space, and the Honeymoon Suites are also fitted with a minibar, entertainment system, and large beds. On the main are an airconditioned bright and modern dining room and salon. The upper deck is home to the outdoor lounge and bar area, the perfect place to mingle and swap fish tales at the end of the day. The top deck has a large partially shaded sun deck with loungers.
Itineraries aboard the Discovery II are generally 7 nights, and visit the best dive areas in Egypt. Red Sea diving is available year-round, and dive areas visited include the Straits of Tiran, Brothers, Ras Mohammed, Thistlegorm, Abu Nuhas, Brothers, Daedalus & Elphinstone. The large dive deck at the back of the boat make gearing up easy, and 2 dive tenders are on hand for dive site drop off and pick up. Nitrox is also available for those certified.

Excellent staff service and food onboard
I had an excellent diving trip – everything was very well organized and overall outstanding, from the diving itself to the equipment, food, service, and dive guides. The only point for improvement would be the cleanliness of the cabin toilets and lockers, which was borderline and could definitely be optimized.

Could not fault Discovery liveaboards in fact I booked another trip as soon as me and my partner arrived home . Guides , boat crew , chef all excellent and made you feel very welcome . Highlights always going to be the wreck Thistlegorm which we where so lucky to be diving alone on one of our afternoon dives at the site , so surreal !! And a 20 minute diving encounter with a dolphin . All in all highly recommend

Excellent itinerary with efficient and friendly guides and crew
Highly recommended itinerary and excellent dive boat. The crew managed to get us 19 dives despite some challenging weather conditions and very busy dive sites. Food was excellent and the staff very helpful with all aspects of the trip. Will definitely book again with the Discovery vessels.

An unforgettable trip – my expectations were exceeded!This trip was just fantastic – it not only met my expectations, but far exceeded them!Dive Guides:The two guides were a perfect blend of professionalism, humor and warmth. There was a lot of laughter and the atmosphere was always relaxed, but they always kept a watchful eye on our safety. Even if you had a supposedly "stupid" question – it was always answered in a friendly and competent manner. You felt in good hands at all times. If you want, you can also learn a lot from the two!Crew:The whole crew was incredibly helpful and always out and about with a smile. Before you could even ask for help, someone was ready to help you slip into the wetsuit. Everyone was always polite, attentive and courteous – really top service!Eat:I have some intolerances and allergies – that was no problem at all! Not only was attention paid to this, but I was even prepared extra food without being asked, so that I would be sure to be full. The worry was unfounded – there was more than enough delicious food for me and everyone else. Truly extraordinary!Dive:The dives were just amazing! Each spot had its own charm – an incredible underwater world! The only small downer: I would have liked to see sharks. But of course that's not in the hands of the crew ;)Result:A perfectly organized trip with a warm crew, professional guides and a great atmosphere – I would go again at any time!
