You get what you pay for

Went with the last tour of the season, which meant less around to see and boat needing the yearly dry-dock visit. But overall I'm happy and got what I expected, without it being spectacular in any way. The one complaint I would have (and also have had on other liveaboards in Egypt) is the vegetarian food, not from a taste perspective but from a nutrional perspective. Protein sources were often lacking and balance between vegetarian and meat options was off - if I was one of the later persons to the buffet the warm vegetarian dish was at times gone whereas more than half of the meat was left (with 4 vegetarians among 22 guests). A rebalancing of how much of what they cook is needed.

Best crew on the Blue Seas

This was my first liveaboard and I can’t express how happy I am with the experience. First of all, the crew is outstanding, helping you in & out of your gear, the guides (Nina and Mohammed) are so pro, very kind and helpful finding the coolest marine life, the food was delicious - always a variety and special shout out to the kitchen & interior crew who set up a few outdoor dinners on the sun deck, so special! The boat itself was great, lots of exterior shady areas, lots of room to move around individually but also hang out as a group. Just a really wonderful experience, I would definitely dive with the Blue Seas again, thank you for an unforgettable trip!!!! Oh, plus saw my first manta - thanks Nina!

A solid one week tour

Loads of dolphins and turtles, good briefings, dive guides could have been more excited though and shown more things, also variety of food was on lower end compared to other boats but they take into account well all dietary requirements. Unfortunately there is no smoking free zone on the upper decks and many corals are dying due to the high water temperature (32 degrees!)

Not as good as I remembered

In general the trip was ok, we were not very lucky with the weather but we managed to do some really nice dives and even snorkeling with the dolphins. I did not find most of the sea men friendly or helpfull and I had some trouble during one of the dives because the briefing was somewhat short and inexhaustive.

Blue Seas liveaboard is an excellent option to spend your Christmas holiday

It was great to have a chance to see the world famous dive sites! A wetsuit was however needed as water is cold in Egypt the winter, also the waves are bigger than in the summer but's that the way it is in the Red Sea. We also had a chance to visit the Daedalus island and see the sights.
