Exceeded Expectations
We saw everything! We swam with a school of 22 hammerheads, we saw somersaulting mantas, we got a whale shark! The staff was excellent, the facilities more than comfortable, and the whole experience was fantastic. This was our first liveaboard and certainly not our last - and we would, without reservation, dive with Blue Planet again!

AWESOME boat, crew, and trip!
My last day diving the dolphins came out to play. I had such a great dive, and took so many pictures/videos, it was just truly an amazing experience. And like so many trips, the others on the boat make a huge difference - from other divers to DMs and crew, I had such a great time talking, eating, sharing stories/pictures and just a beer, that you can't ask for a better trip.

Great boat and service, but transfer logistics could be improved.
We were very unlucky with the weather, which was extraordinarily windy and meant the trip had to be diverted for safety reasons. It also meant that when combined with the 22 degree water temperature it was very cold. Apparently two weeks at the end of March/beginning of April are frequently very windy. So beware this period and make sure you bring lots of warm clothes and appropriate dive gear. I was jeaous of those who brought their dry suits. The marine life was also not as good as I normally experience in the Red Sea. Of course none of this was the problem of the boat, which was excellent and I would recommend it unreservedly.

Still the best.
The Blue Seas is still my favorite liveaboard in the Red Sea. The combination of a very comfortable boat, delicious food, dedicated hard working crew, and excellent dive guides is one that is very hard to beat. Thanks to everyone on the Blue Seas for another super trip. Ricky B.

Any diver must try.
Pros: Very friendly, helpful, and cooperative crew; great underwater sites to visit, pretty good food, and good value for money at the end. Cons: It was very stuffy in the cabin, also with bad toilet smell; portholes have to be closed, airco cools but does not bring any fresh air from outside.

This dive trip was AMAZING!
Coral and fish life on Brothers Islands is Spectacular. White tip reef shark encounters were very close. One swim bye was a metre apart. Great Wreck on penetration on Numidia, thoroughly enjoyed. I have amazing footage just from my generic go pro action camera called Xtreme H8R which was less than half the price but colour depth and clarity on my 50inch with a HDMI cable is fantastic - I watch to relive the awesome trip.

Great group of divers
It's nice to dive in the Red Sea for the first time. I saw hummer head, other sharks, and beautiful corals. I also met many great divers (guests) on the board.

Back to the beauty of the Red Sea
Nice boat, friendly and helpful crew. Deep South: coral in very good condition, schools of Hammerheads, water was 30C so no wetsuit needed Recommendation: if sailing from Port Ghalib try to fly ino MarsaAlam, Hurghada is a 3 hour drive away. The organised transfers were good - included water and a snack but as we arrived at 4am it was not so ideal.

Hurghada & Brothers over New Year
Thresher shark at 7am on the morning of my birthday, diving the 2 excellent wrecks the Aida and the Numidia and hanging around under the dive boat at the end of each dive for the curious Oceanic White Tips. Great Trip, Great company / other divers & a great birthday & New Year.

Safari on M/Y BLUE 22-28 Feb 2018
The lighthouse at Daedalus, snorkelling with dolphins and diving through caves at Shaab Claude. It wasn't hammerhead season but that would have made it even better of course. We had calm seas and sunshine, if you give me an email address I can send you our GoPro movie. Kind regards, Peter & Saada

A nice and successful trip on a very nice boat with nice guests and many nice dives.
Habili St John's: A fantastic early morning and after breakfast dive. We swam into the blue at the reef and descended to 40m. We watched a group of black and white snappers who seemed to be feeding as they were swimming up and down with their mouths open. We also saw tuna, barracuda and giant trevally. :-)

Exceeded All Expectations
Everything about this trip was amazing - from the cabins, to the diving, to the crew, and food. The crew went above and beyond to give us a special experience with a great barbeque night and new years party. Food was healthy, delicious, and changed every day. Dive guides were amazing and struck the perfect balance between guiding us and providing autonomy to manage our own dives. Highly recommend!

Disappointing trip of a spoiled diver
The (only) 2 dives at Fury Shoals were beautiful, diving thru caves, stunning underwater rock formations. The last day diving, our own little group of 5 without the dive guide who was busy with last day's administration! had the opportunity to be dropped off with the zodiac near snorkelling people so we could and saw a group of dolphins. We just hung there at 10 meters and enjoyed their funny play under water. That was a amazing ending of a disappointing diving week.

A good liveaboard - value for money
The Blue Seas is is rather mid-low price, so one should not expect unnecessary luxury like jacuzzi etc. Room for improvement is the airco (which stopped working twice but was fixed fast; it is rather loud; less of an issue in February), otherwise, everything's there what is needed. Somehow my request for renting a longjohn got lost, but the crew were quick to provide one, so there was no problem. The food was varied and good, the crew was friendly and the free nitrox is a plus. So this liveaboard does offer good value for money. What is also nice are the long dives (limited to 60 min) - I've seen boats where this limit was set to 45 min. We had an issue with strong winds, that limited ouroptions for dive sites. Nevertheless, the crew found ample places for nice dives and also made sure that there was a night dive every day. So yes, I can recommend this boat.

Dolphins made up for the storm
The guides and crew were great, boat was nice with many places to chill (when the wind wasn’t too strong)! Unfortunately a storm hit meaning we had to do a much diverted route.. Still did a few nice dives and had a great encounter with dolphins! The captain and crew did try their best to get us to the most interesting sites but was a shame nonetheless. Food wasn’t the best, especially as I said I was a veggie several times. Also didn’t appreciate the dark muttering when I left less (but still a decent amount) than the huge ‘recommended’ tip - which would’ve been an extra ~25% of the whole trip. All in all a mixed week, would like to try again in better conditions!

Blue Seas liveaboard is an excellent option to spend your Christmas holiday
It was great to have a chance to see the world famous dive sites! A wetsuit was however needed as water is cold in Egypt the winter, also the waves are bigger than in the summer but's that the way it is in the Red Sea. We also had a chance to visit the Daedalus island and see the sights.
