Highlights
The award-winning Blue Horizon liveaboard offers year-round diving in the Red Sea. She accommodates 26 guests in 13 guest cabins. There are 9 classic twin or twin/double cabins on the lower deck and 4 premium double cabins on the mid-deck. All cabins are ensuite and air-conditioned with mini refrigerators, TVs, and entertainment systems. The dining area and salon on the mid-deck is where breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be served buffet style, with snacks, fruit, and juices served throughout the day. The upper deck has a sky lounge and bar with a state-of-the-art entertainment system, and the sun deck has comfortable loungers and a hot tub.
Blue Horizon itineraries are varied and cover all the world-class dive sites from the north and the Straits of Tiran to St. Johns in Deep South Egypt. The spacious dive deck, experienced guides, and crew will ensure the best dive experience in the Red Sea. Nitrox is also available for those certified.

An all-round successful liveaboard on the Blue Horizon
Our liveaboard on the Blue Horizon in the Red Sea was a very special and all-round successful experience. The generous space on board was particularly pleasant - this gave you enough space to relax and enjoy your time on the ship between dives. The entire team was extremely friendly, helpful and attentive. We also liked the food on board very much and was a nice addition to the eventful diving days. We would also like to highlight the competent and committed dive instructors, who provided professional support and a good feeling during the dives. Under water, an impressive variety awaited us. We were able to see numerous beautiful, lively soft and hard corals and met many typical inhabitants of the Red Sea. Each dive had its own charm and always offered new and fascinating impressions. One of the absolute highlights for us were the encounters with hammerhead sharks – a truly unforgettable experience. Another focus and at the same time a very special experience were the numerous wreck dives. The wrecks themselves were fascinating and offered exciting insights into a completely different underwater world. At the same time, some of them had a very tragic history. Especially the dives at the Salem Express and the Thistlegorm were therefore not only impressive, but also emotional and thought-provoking. All in all, the liveaboard was a very successful combination of varied and spectacular dives, fascinating underwater world, exciting wrecks and a pleasant atmosphere on board. We take many wonderful memories with us and would do the trip again at any time.

Brilliant diving adventure--checked off all the boxes of wants and needs
Nice combination of reef systems and wrecks. Location enabled one to see it all, helping us to check off all the boxes one comes to expect from a perfect adventure. The "Northern Wrecks and Reefs" of the Red Sea offered up some of the most beautiful reef systems and of course, the great wrecks of the Northern Red Sea, including the Cristola, Dunraven and Thistlegorm. Creatures small and large came into our purview: dolphins, octopuses, nudibranches, schools of fishes. Lucky us on this particular week!

Master Liveaboard’s are simply the best in the Red Sea. Nothing is too much for these guys
From the moment you step on board the super attentive, friendly crew cannot do enough for you. Safety the no 1 priority for these guys. Very knowledgable dive guides with informative dive briefings before every dive. I completed the Extended Range Trimix course over the course of the week and had superb, thorough training from start to finish with dive guide / instructor Paul.

Beautiful dive boat
This was my third trip on Blue Horizon & sixth trip with Blue O'Two. The boat is everything you would want for a week away diving, spacious & nicely set up cabins, nice saloon area for meals, the upstairs lounge is a great place to relax, the dive deck is set out perfectly for a large group of divers to never feel crowded. The crew are excellent & ensure you have a great trip. The little extra touches are nice such as plenty of towels in the cabin, a toweling poncho for after dives to keep you warm, afternoon snacks after the third dive. The hot chocolate when you come up from the afternoon dive is a very welcome! I would recommend Blue Horizon to anyone considering a week of diving in the Red Sea.
