The Amelie Safari liveaboard offers a more intimate Red Sea dive experience with just 12 guests onboard. There are 6 comfortable cabins located on the lower deck, each with twin bunk beds, storage space, charging area, and port-hole windows. There are also 2 shared bathrooms with freshwater showers. Social areas include the cosy indoor saloon, dining room, and drinks station, where freshly prepared Egyptian cuisine will be served buffet-style. The whole top deck is an open area with an outdoor covered lounge. Sun -lovers have the choice of 3 areas to sunbathe, including the front deck and high deck which have comfy mattresses to lounge on in-between dives.

Amelie Safari is perfect for a short Red Sea adventure with 3-night itineraries available for those short on time, or longer 7-night itineraries for those that want to enjoy a full week of diving in the Red Sea. There is a large dive deck at the back of the boat with more than enough room for divers to get ready, and Nitrox is also included in the trip price for those certified. Amelie Safari can also be hired out for private charter, perfect for small groups of friends and family.

Beautiful short liveaboard safari
We thoroughly enjoyed our short liveaboard safari on the Amelie. The dive guides are great and very knowledgeable, the safety standards are very good, and the diving is excellent. Although it was a short safari, there was a good variation in the dive sites and we saw a lot of beautiful and healthy marine life. Totally recommendable.

Great few days on the Amelie!
From the moment we arrive on board everything we were taking care of in the best way possible. The crew was very friendly and the chef prepared amazing meals. Also Mustafa is a great dive guide. The night dives were especially memorable.

Great live aboard experience for the right price
Diving with playful dolphins, lots of corals and fish. Small boat, get to know all divers by name, we were nine divers from eight countries, very interesting talking. Larger boats don't allow this type of interactions.

Liveaboard in a special atmosphere
Really great friendly crew who are very service oriented. The cabins are very cozy and just right. The food is superb, really crazy what can be conjured up in a small kitchen. The dives were great with a lot of variety and the dive masters constantly point out sights worth seeing under water.

A dream come true

I'm here for the 3rd time and as always great. Rest and activity. Wreck diving again after many years was exciting and beautiful, as well as the night dives, I dared to do it again. so worthwhile. In the evening, lie on the upper deck and see the Milky Way and the constellations. Unforgettable! I like the boat very much, little Amelie, and would always prefer it to a big yacht with a lot of people.And I can also confirm again: The boat is well suited for beginners/returners.

Amazing trip!
Excellent trip. The guides, crew and chef were so friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had the most lovely time. The food was the best we had in Egypt - unbelievable. Equipment was all in good condition and the guides and support staff made us feel safe at all times.

Our guides always tried to give us a unique diving experience and made sure that we had the dive sites to ourselves. They also took good care of us and the whole atmosphere on the boat was very familiar. The food was amazing. I had the best wreck dives and we even dived with dolphins :)

A fantastic trip
I was on the Amelie for a 4 day mini safari, but the coast guard wouldn’t allow any boats to leave for the entire time. Despite that, the crew on board was great, especially Amr. They even helped organize a trip to a house reef so that we could get some diving in. The food was really good too. I was also able to complete my nitrox certification with them on this trip which was a very easy process. The company gave me a discount for my next trip and I used it immediately for their next available date just a day after the end of my original trip. Luckily, we were able to go out and complete all 9 dives. My dive guide Hesham was super knowledgeable about the area and was able to find a lot of fascinating animals for us underwater. We even got to see dolphins on our last morning! I also liked that there were only four of us to a group, that made the dives so much more relaxed. Mostafa, the other dive guide was also very helpful during the briefings. The other passengers on both trips very very nice and we all got along well which made the experience even more special. I dove in a 3mm wetsuit, but that might be too cold for most people in January. The value of this liveaboard is very high in my opinion Compared to the price of a hotel + food + dive boat, etc. the price per dive is probably cheaper on the Amelie. I hope to be back someday, it was really memorable for me.

Perfect diving cruise in Red sea
When we arrived, the boat seemed better than in the pictures! The crew quickly put us at ease and integrated us into the group.After testing and selecting the diving equipment, we had our 1st briefing for the dive. There is a real focus on safety and group rules, group organization (1 dive master for 3 to 4 divers) and the course of the dive on the site concerned. We had an English-speaking guide, which simplified the communication.Every dive was great! We saw many animals, corals, reefs, shipwrecks and even swimming with dolphins on the way back from a dive!The meal on the boat was always delicious with choice for everyone and the equipment always helpful and attentive to satisfy us!
