Highlights
The Amelie Safari liveaboard offers a more intimate Red Sea dive experience with just 12 guests onboard. There are 6 comfortable cabins located on the lower deck, each with twin bunk beds, storage space, charging area, and port-hole windows. There are also 2 shared bathrooms with freshwater showers. Social areas include the cosy indoor saloon, dining room, and drinks station, where freshly prepared Egyptian cuisine will be served buffet-style. The whole top deck is an open area with an outdoor covered lounge. Sun -lovers have the choice of 3 areas to sunbathe, including the front deck and high deck which have comfy mattresses to lounge on in-between dives.
Amelie Safari is perfect for a short Red Sea adventure with 3-night itineraries available for those short on time, or longer 7-night itineraries for those that want to enjoy a full week of diving in the Red Sea. There is a large dive deck at the back of the boat with more than enough room for divers to get ready, and Nitrox is also included in the trip price for those certified. Amelie Safari can also be hired out for private charter, perfect for small groups of friends and family.

My first ever liveaboard experience couldn't have been better!
We had the best experience on the Amelie. We were only 3 people on board, so it felt like a very private trip. My highlights: 1) The friendliness and hospitality of the crew, which made our four days at Amelie truly amazing. We always received help with preparing and putting up our equipment, and with everything we needed. 2) The dive sites. Every site was chosen very carefully by our guide, Hashim, to avoid diver/tourist crowds. He has 30+ years of experience in the area, and he took us to the most amazing sites. He also pays attention to animals' well-being, which was another +. 3) The food. We had the best local, homemade dishes on the boat during our trip in Egypt – better than at 5* hotels. We always had something nice to eat or snack on, and received nice juices or hot chocolate after every dive. We loved the experience, and we will be back for sure! Thank you to the crew for making this one of my most memorable vacations.

Perfect diving cruise in Red sea
When we arrived, the boat seemed better than in the pictures! The crew quickly put us at ease and integrated us into the group.After testing and selecting the diving equipment, we had our 1st briefing for the dive. There is a real focus on safety and group rules, group organization (1 dive master for 3 to 4 divers) and the course of the dive on the site concerned. We had an English-speaking guide, which simplified the communication.Every dive was great! We saw many animals, corals, reefs, shipwrecks and even swimming with dolphins on the way back from a dive!The meal on the boat was always delicious with choice for everyone and the equipment always helpful and attentive to satisfy us!

A great first liveaboard experience!
Everything went very well with a great team on site and a quality boat. The organization was top notch and everything went well. The boat was very modern and well maintained by the crew, nevertheless I bring a small nuance on the comfort of the cabin in which it was hot and noisy because it was close to the engine and the generator. The head chef was really perfect, he prepared a very varied choice for us and we never ate the same thing twice. It was perfect.

Great few days on the Amelie!
From the moment we arrive on board everything we were taking care of in the best way possible. The crew was very friendly and the chef prepared amazing meals. Also Mustafa is a great dive guide. The night dives were especially memorable.

It has been an incredible experience We were lucky enough to only be 6 people on board and the crew was really lovely. The dive guides and instructors with very good vibes and explaining each of the dives well I couldn't say a single bad thing about the trip

Excellent value
Though if I had known I was going to be sitting tied up on the docks for the first 18 hours, I would of prefered to have not slept on the boat that night and just done a gear check the night before and joined up the following morning. Everything else was very good. The crew was excellent. Would suggest more comfortable areas to sit on above deck in between dives. The dives spots were good although after diving here I think I would of prefered diving much more south egypt than in this area if I was to do it again but that has nothing to do with the boat or crew. This is the best Value trip you can book for the money.
