My first ever liveaboard experience couldn't have been better!
We had the best experience on the Amelie. We were only 3 people on board, so it felt like a very private trip. My highlights: 1) The friendliness and hospitality of the crew, which made our four days at Amelie truly amazing. We always received help with preparing and putting up our equipment, and with everything we needed. 2) The dive sites. Every site was chosen very carefully by our guide, Hashim, to avoid diver/tourist crowds. He has 30+ years of experience in the area, and he took us to the most amazing sites. He also pays attention to animals' well-being, which was another +. 3) The food. We had the best local, homemade dishes on the boat during our trip in Egypt – better than at 5* hotels. We always had something nice to eat or snack on, and received nice juices or hot chocolate after every dive. We loved the experience, and we will be back for sure! Thank you to the crew for making this one of my most memorable vacations.

Nice crew, beautiful marine life, good food
I did the 8days/7nights trip and it was absolutely amazing. I really enjoyed my time on the boat and can highly recommend it. Diving: The dive sites are really beautiful - lots of classic fish, nice corals and also the chance to see dolphins, turtles, eagle rays etc. We had shallow dives which was like diving in an aquarium but deep dives to some wrecks and little caves too. My highlight were the night dives because there was so many action underwater. Food: The food was amazing. Very variety and lots of salads and vegetarian options. It was delicious. Crew: Everyone on the boat was very kind, funny and helpful. I felt comfortable all the time. Especially our two guides Mostafa and Masin did a great job - they are really good divers and very sympathetic persons. Enjoyed diving with them a lot. Boat: Everything was clean and there are enough possibilities to just relax between the dives, watch sunset/sunrise and have a good time with the other guest.

Great experience and great value for your money!
We did 8 days on the Amelie and had a great time! Beautiful dive sites where we saw octopus, calamari, a lobster, eagle rays, electric ray, napoleon fish, spanish dancer, nudibranches and a large school of dolphins! The trip is budget friendly and you do have to share 2 toilets/badrooms, which can result in waiting for your turn. The food was great and plenty and all kinds of drinks were available the whole day. We even had decent wifi for the most days. The staff was friendly and were keeping the boat spotless. No famous dive sites like the Thistlegorm or deadalus and not a lot of wreks on our route, but a lot of beautiful corals and sites that were not crowded. Overall can definetely recommend!

Amazing trip all was perfect
We could dive with dolphins! The diving equipment was new and really good, the staff very friendly and professional with briefing before each dive, the food on board was really good, and there is flexibility for the dives depending of what people want to see and weather conditions. It was awsome
