The Amelie Safari liveaboard offers a more intimate Red Sea dive experience with just 12 guests onboard. There are 6 comfortable cabins located on the lower deck, each with twin bunk beds, storage space, charging area, and port-hole windows. There are also 2 shared bathrooms with freshwater showers. Social areas include the cosy indoor saloon, dining room, and drinks station, where freshly prepared Egyptian cuisine will be served buffet-style. The whole top deck is an open area with an outdoor covered lounge. Sun -lovers have the choice of 3 areas to sunbathe, including the front deck and high deck which have comfy mattresses to lounge on in-between dives.
Amelie Safari is perfect for a short Red Sea adventure with 3-night itineraries available for those short on time, or longer 7-night itineraries for those that want to enjoy a full week of diving in the Red Sea. There is a large dive deck at the back of the boat with more than enough room for divers to get ready, and Nitrox is also included in the trip price for those certified. Amelie Safari can also be hired out for private charter, perfect for small groups of friends and family.

Perfect diving cruise in Red sea
When we arrived, the boat seemed better than in the pictures! The crew quickly put us at ease and integrated us into the group.After testing and selecting the diving equipment, we had our 1st briefing for the dive. There is a real focus on safety and group rules, group organization (1 dive master for 3 to 4 divers) and the course of the dive on the site concerned. We had an English-speaking guide, which simplified the communication.Every dive was great! We saw many animals, corals, reefs, shipwrecks and even swimming with dolphins on the way back from a dive!The meal on the boat was always delicious with choice for everyone and the equipment always helpful and attentive to satisfy us!

Starting from the pick-up to the service on board, which leaves nothing to be desired, it was a great mix of relaxing and diving. The diving spots were well chosen, not too difficult for not yet quite experienced divers, for experienced divers who already had everything, it was a nice meditative dive.

Nice little boat trip
From the pick-up at the hotel, to the hotel transfer after the trip, everything was perfect and absolutely on time. We had great weather for January. Almost no wind and waves at about 22 degrees. The crew was more than attentive, the food good and varied. The dive guides were also very good and let the experienced divers like us go on their own and looked after the less experienced divers in their group. The captain has chosen the dive sites versatile and well. Highlights were of course the two night dives, the wreck dives on the Carnatic and the Giannis D and the early morning dive on the Dolphinhouse. Dolphinhouse lived up to its name and we were able to look at them extensively and swim with them. It was my third safari in the Red Sea and fits seamlessly into the great experiences on the other.

I had everything that I was expecting and more. Amazing dives, dolphins, wrecks, beautiful coral, night dives. The food was really good and healthy. The crew was super nice and very friendly and always ready to help. The dive guides were very knowledgeable and always with a focus on safety, which make beginners feel secure. The boat is small, (we had 8 guest in total) which permits a relaxed operation of entering and exiting the ocean without confusion and chaos. Superb value for money. Will go back again.
