We spent pleasant moments all together, several encounters with oceanic sharks, personally I loved anemona point in Daedalus where we could see dozens of clownfish. The BBQ evening at Elfinstone was a great time with everyone as well

À faire et à refaire !
Nous avons eu la chance de croiser des dauphins dans le bleu à brothers. Beaucoup de longimanus ainsi que des requins marteaux, requins renard et requins gris de récifs. Abondance des coraux et des petits poissons de récifs. Tout ce qui nous a manqué cest la macro mais en même temps la croisiere BDE cest le gros et a ce niveau là on a été servis ! 1 plongée de nuit assez belle (danseuses espagnoles, raie torpille et beaucoup de vie en general). Et encore une fois un staff tres gentil et a l'écoute qui se plie en quatre pour passer une super croisiere.

-visibilité, vie sous marine (coraux et poissons) et conditions de plongée parfaites ! ; -ambiance conviviale avec un équipage au top ; -guide qui sait nous mettre en sécurité (briefings complets avec plusieurs plans selon les courants...) tout en nous laissant beaucoup d'autonomie et de liberté sous l'eau

To be done and redone!
We were lucky enough to come across dolphins in the blue at brothers.Lots of longimanus as well as hammerhead sharks, thresher sharks and grey reef sharks.Abundance of corals and small reef fish.All we lacked was the macro but at the same time the BDE cruise is the big one and at this level we were served! 1 quite nice night dive (Spanish dancers, torpedo ray and a lot of life in general). And once again a very nice and attentive staff who bend over backwards to have a great cruise.

-visibility, underwater life (corals and fish) and perfect diving conditions!; -friendly atmosphere with a top crew; -guide who knows how to put us in safety (complete briefings with several plans depending on the currents...) while leaving us a lot of autonomy and freedom underwater

We did not travel on the Al Farouk because we were transferred to another boat at the last minute without being informed beforehand. The new boat was called My Orion.
We were lucky enough to dive with a group of over 20 dolphins. We had a great time with the crew.

Swimming with dolphins, Red Sea cruise in general (rays, turtles, dolphins,...)

On the positive side: - 4 dives per day, - lots of food and good, - easy arrival and departure. On the negative side: - very spacious and extremely smelly cabin toilet, - we pay an additional ecological tax on arrival but the boat is very polluting and they throw the waste overboard, - Dive sites repeated several times and very little freedom

In general the trip was very good, the people, the crew, the food. That's great! But the management has been disastrous.The conditions and the information they give you, for some people it is one thing and for others, another. It can't be that you're preparing a trip and he gives you a route with some points that are indicated, you ask several times if it's safe that those points will be made, they tell you yes and then, once there, the guide tells you that it's very far away: not because it's bad seas (we left late by the sea, no problem here), because they didn't feel like making those points.The route was very adapted to the level of the group, and it was quite weak. We repeated points that we should have done once and that's it, because there was almost nothing, near the port of Hurghada. One of the points is Ras Mohammed and we only did two dives, it is not a complicated area, we could have stayed to do some more, since we did not do either the Tiran or Salem as indicated.Luckily we did 5 wrecks, because if not, I don't know what route it was. The first one we tried to do, in theory was the Ulysses, we jumped there was a current outside and instead of diving inside the wreck, we left. That is, two minutes of wreck, nothing, a disaster. The other wrecks (and almost one with dolphins) fantastic.The hours we had to be there, each one was told one thing. If I know that you can arrive later than 6pm, I don't stay one night too many in Hurghada where there is nothing, since, the last one they already leave you in the morning at the port of that city. In addition to changing the port (without prior notice) and boat at the last minute. We didn't go with Al Farouk II, but with JP.The organization of the dive sites and the hours very poorly organized. Then, the tips. The obligatory, of course, to the crew, of ten, no complaints. They helped you with everything and the perfect food. But the tips to the guides when they did almost nothing and force us to pay them 25 euros? On the last day, with the group we were going, there were three instructors. As the guide did not feel like going down, they imposed a diver with only 8 dives (when specified minimum you have 30). The truth is that the atmosphere and the wonderful wrecks are lucky, but the organization is disastrous and the guides are very weak. A route to repeat but with better guides and better organization. Quite disappointed.

Boat had issues
The boat has seen better days and sustained some damage in high waves that led to some flooding in lower deck rooms. The compressor also had issues throughout the week and the crew was inexperienced leading to some clunky moments. However the dive guides and the diving were fantastic as we saw every large pelagic from oceanic whitetips, manatees and hammerheads to amazing macro subjects like pipe fish. The corals are very healthy and extraordinary. If you’re looking for a true adventure where you never know what might happen next above or below the waterline than this trip is for you!

Liveaboard on Gelen!
The boat is comfy (please note that our booking was changed last minute to Gelen instead of Al Farouk II), the staff friendly and always ready to help. Food was tasty, healthy and sufficient, even for vegetarians. Nice bunch of divers. The dive guides were unfortunately unmotivated and rather absent. The main guide was always tired and kept the briefings to a minimum. The second guide was rather unfit for the job, even managed to lose divers, had us swim against the current, had us regularly swim in a safe distance from the wall in order to see nothing, usually "ran" in front of the group and had little contact with the divers, and always had his camera ready to take pictures - not only unusual but as far as I know also forbidden for guides.
