“A variety of dive sites with varying difficulty made it fun and exciting.”
Highlights
- Itineraries to top dive sites in the Red Sea
- Large dive deck with individual gear stations
- Budget-friendly options available
Having undergone a complete renovation in 2019, the MY Admira offers 2 to 7-night dive itineraries in the Red Sea. Travel comfortably in cabins, from the budget-friendly lower deck to the spacious Upper Deck Suite. Each cabin is bright and modern, with an en-suite bathroom and individually controlled AC.
The interior space was designed to create a feeling of comfort. The indoor dining room is bright and airy with comfortable seating and leads to the salon with large sofas and armchairs for relaxing in the AC in-between dives. The al-fresco terrace is perfect for enjoying the sea breeze, unwinding at the end of the day, and discussing the cool marine life spotted during the dives.
Located at the back of the boat is a large dive deck with individual gear stations, rinse tanks, and ample space for kitting up for the dives. Itineraries explore some of the best dive sites in the Red Sea, including St. Johns, Brothers, Daedalus, and Elphinstone.

Beautiful Trip
Highlights were seeing a hammerhead and enjoying vast and well intact coral gardens. A variety of dive sites with varying difficulty made it fun and exciting.

Amazing crew but……
First things first - the crew were great, the guides great and the diving excellent but….. The boat and the operations in general is in need of some serious maintenance. Air con was playing up in most cabins, never any hot water for showering and the gear on hire is simply dangerous. One guest hired regs and after several dives it was clear these were leaking from the inflator hose. On inspection the hose rubber was perished and the core exposed. Two other sets of hire regs were also found to have perished rubber hoses. How the operators can hire out regs which have clearly not been serviced is both dangerous and inexcusable. There were similar issues with hire BCD’s leaking air. If you don’t take your own gear (which I do) please inspect it thoroughly because the operator doesn’t. The food on board leaves a lot to be desired although is adequate. And finally be careful with the additional fees/charges. Being charged for services such as private transfers which weren’t provided, drinks that weren’t drunk and “made up” exchange rates to squeeze a few extra pounds out of guests as a parting gesture leaves a bad taste in the mouth. I’ve been on numerous liveaboards in the Red Sea and other locations worldwide over the last 20 years so I have a large comparison base. This is the worst I’ve been on and I won’t be going back sadly which is no reflection on the fantastic guides and crew. There appears to be a lack of investment into the boat as a business which unfortunately shows.
