The Jardines Avalon Fleet liveaboard are comfortable floating hotels based in Cuba. All cabins on all ships of the Jardines Avalon Fleet feature individually controlled AC, storage space, and private en-suite bathrooms.
Cuisine aboard Jardines Avalon Fleet vessels includes a mix of Cuban food, grilled seafood and vegetables, as well as international dishes. The onboard bars house a selection of Cuban beers and rum, international wines, and spirits. All ships have a large dive deck located at the back of the ship, with plenty of room for gear storage and kitting up before jumping into the pristine tropical waters of Jardines de la Reina (Gardens of the Queen).
The Jardines de la Reina marine park is a diver's paradise, and there are local marine biologists on board, ready to teach and discuss the conservation of this unique ecosystem. Liveaboard diving in Cuba offers divers the chance to visit pristine coral reefs and an abundance of wildlife, including up to 6 different species of shark, such as hammerhead and silk sharks, huge schools of snapper, giant grouper, and even the chance of whale sharks at the right time of year.

I felt very appreciated and welcome on the boat, all the staff are very welcoming and helpful. The food was excellent and varied, several vegetables! Naturally the diving is magical, the choice of sites well balanced to offer a fascinating experience on each dive. The guides are very patient and supervise us well; I tend to stop when I see a fascinating fish or species, and the guide didn't take his eyes off me. Very reassuring.

Fantastic experience onboard and in the water.
Diving in the national park, we were the only liveaboard on the reef. Huge amounts of sea life and sharks at every dive. The staff were continuously attentive and responded to our every need, both with diving and on board. Excellent food and accommodation.

Fabulous experience
The Queen's Gardens are a great discovery. I absolutely recommend for divers who love sharks. This is the strong point of the cruise, the interaction with them is at its maximum. Besides that, biodiversity is not as abundant as one might imagine. The food on board is exceptional and divers are allowed a cocktail a day, great to celebrate the day's dives. (Too bad there's only one kind of soda available.) Hot towel at the end of the dives, the top comfort! The jacuzzi is functional. The dives are very well supervised and the briefings are clear. The guides are attentive to the divers' preferences and their difficulties. (Downside for the rental equipment a little outdated.) The crew is very smiling and takes care of the divers. That was awesome!!!
