Good but not outstanding

I want to say it was an extraordinary trip. but I can’t . It was good but I hoped and expected more and came away enjoying it, but not thrilled given the cost , in relation to other stuff I’ve done . The ship was tired and slow and not as comfortable as it was made out. The cabins was right next to the engine room and was hugely noisy . sold as a premium cabin there was nothing premium about it The food was largely good, with a couple of outstanding meals . The crew were very friendly and attentive Now we come to the diving and the organisation . As soon as I got on board conversation went to the effect El Niño was having . So why wasn’t this relayed prior to coming out and advising that full wetsuits in the packing list was not required .I would have packed my shortie and not carted my big one around for 3 weeks prior The water temperatures were insane and there is little doubt this is affecting things sadly . Not the boats fault , but some sites were decidedly disappointing, yet they repeated them . One site 3 times ! Im not the world greatest diver on air and on a deep dives access to a 15 Ltr tank would have made a big difference but they didn’t have one which I found very surprising , Some dives were decidedly advanced. Despite the warm conditions we did get some amazing sightings and it’s a privelidge to visit Coco . An unhihabited beautiful island that explodes waterfalls when it rains. It is a rare find . Many Sharks , Tuna, and rays are super size . It’s not got the colour vibrancy underwater of say Indonesia . It’s quite a different dive and the deep blue is just that. Deep with current . The knowledge of the dive leaders was clearly good , but there were times I really felt they cut corners on safety . Never was there a buddy check. . They were all negative entry, which I understood why , but there no room for error. Just because you’re dropping 12 experienced diver doesn’t mean it’s foolproof . We were given locator beacons which I thought was good .Had there been an emergency underwater I’m not totally confident the outcome would have been good . I’m used to tighter dive leadership , but that might be me Whilst on board I did my NItrox and I ended up forcing the issue to get signed off , as there was always something else going on . No training structure at all but a good way to charge $250 extra . I still await my certification and fear it’s going to be difficult to get I would conclude as follows . I’m glad I did it . I thought it was all of its money and I am planning on several other livaboard and from this experience I won’t be rushing to book with the Agressor brand again

Up close to a good number of Sharks. Oceanic Manta and Dolphin around the tender. Great Camerdarie between fellow divers.

Once in a lifetime experience

Really unforgettable trip, the crew was outstanding, Coco's island is so special, and the diving was just amazing. The water temp in April was around 29/30 degress celcius, so lovely!

As good as indonesia on some dive sites

some sites had several schools of different kinds of fish, as well as sharks and turtles, all in one dive. I like to watch schools of fish. I have been to Indonesia on many dive vacations and Cano Island is as good as Indonesia for schooling fish on some dive sites.

Great option for cocos!

The crew was very friendly and accommodating, food was excellent. Dives were safe and enjoyable. This is a great option to see cocos and more budget friendly than the alternatives.

Saw tons of hammerheads, a whale shark, and enjoyed the underwater life in the pacific.
