Built for comfort and stability, the Cocos Island Aggressor is a 38 meter/124ft liveaboard that accommodates up to 22 passengers in 11 staterooms – 4 master staterooms on the upper deck and 7 deluxe staterooms on the lower deck. Each room has a private bathroom, shower, and air conditioning, and every passenger gets a spacious locker for their dive gear. The Cocos Island Aggressor has a spacious salon, a large sun deck, loungers and chairs, a bar, and a grill. With a varied, mouth-watering menu, lunches consist of lighter meals such as hot soups, salads, and sandwiches. The talented onboard chef prepares delicious dinners that include salads, seafood, beef or chicken, BBQ, and even fresh homemade desserts. There is a variety of complimentary fruit juices, soft drinks, water, iced tea, coffee, and a limited selection of local beer and wine. All meals, snacks, and beverages are provided.

Boarding and departure times are subject to the tides. Immediately after boarding, the liveaboard departs for its 36-hour crossing to Cocos Island. During trips and between dives, guests can hang out at the bar on the top deck and catch up on the day's diving while relaxing on the comfortable loungers. The Cocos Island Aggressor offers multiple dives throughout the day for an average of 21 dives on a 10-night trip. No night diving is currently offered at Cocos Island.

Guests can enjoy diving at the Cocos Island National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site, for the chance of big fish encounters with creatures like hammerheads, whitetip sharks, manta rays, and whale sharks. Aside from the incredible diving, guests will also be taken ashore to hike through the jungles of Cocos and swim in waterfalls.

A Pod of 30+ Bottlenose Dolphins playing with us for 20 mins.Giant Schools of Hammerhead Sharks on several dives, Hammers on every dive.The Food and Professionalism on the Boat was Awesome, Especially the DM and Trip Director Warren. Give Warren a Raise. The boat ride is a long one, but totally worth it. The world needs to mimic the marine protections that the Costa Rican Government has put in place at Cocos.

Exceptional Cocos Island experience
Incredible sealife - including schooling hammerheads and dolphins, enormous manta rays and countless Galapogos sharks, all within clouds of other fish. Excellent service from the crew made us feel very special, and made it one of the most memorable holidays we have ever had.

Bucket list dive trip.

Despite cabin accommodations being less than optimal, the staff, the diving, the food, and the scenery were excellent.

Amazing Dive Trip
I had an amazing time on the Cocos Island Aggressor, the crew was super nice and helpful. They prepared our dive gear, showed us the beautiful island (not just diving but also above water tours). The food was excellent and they could easily adapt to whatever food needs/restrictions the guests had. The crew was always up for a joke, and it felt like a family. The diving of course was the best with schools of hammerheads, a tiger shark, manta rays, mobula rays, eagle rays, galapagos sharks and white tips.

The professionally trained crew offers guests unique diving experiences as well as an extremely comfortable stay on board.
The observation of a hammerhead shark at a relatively short distance. There was at least one whitetip reef shark to spot on every dive. Large swarms of jacks could often be observed. The organization of the procedures on the dive deck always allowed for a RELAXED preparation and follow-up of the dives. A coffee machine that dispensed really VERY GOOD coffee at ALL times.

Hammerheads galore
It was an absolutely dream of a liveaboard, Cocos does not disappoint. Hammerheads are such a daily fixture that you get used to see them every dive. Got so many beautiful memories (and videos). It is a very expensive trip, but definitely worth it !!

An amazing experience diving one of the more remote places in the world. Unfortunately the "new" boat (which seemed refurbished at best) had issues and our bow cabin was very cramped and certainly not as advertised.

Top Notch Cocos Diving
The Cocos Aggressor lives up to your expectations as far as crew, boat, diving, and accomodations. Your every desire is taken care of and you can enjoy a super dive holiday. Dives are changed immediately to accomodate the weather but it does not slow anything down. The only negative is the charge for nitrox and internet. 98% of divers are nitrox certified and with the depths of these dives, it should be a mandatory certification for the trip. The boat already has Skylink going continuously, so to charge for it is an inconvenience found out during the trip. Both of these costs should be included in the entire cost of the trip.

The Crew and Island are the entire trip!
Cannot emphasize enough how fabulous this trip was. Cocos Island has got to be one of the most beautiful places on earth ... both out of and under the water. Capt. Mauricio is an absolute gem! Always laughing and helped me when I got a little nervous with the 5ft+ swells, gave me the nickname Scarey Shark - hahahah! As a matter of fact the entire crew were gems! Each one always had a smile on their face and made sure that your stay aboard the Cocos Island Aggressor was perfect. Warren the Cruise Director/Dive Guide was passionate, knowledgeable and did an amazing presentation at the end with the video of our trip. You can tell he loves Cocos and diving ... I think sometimes he got so wrapped up in enjoying the dive that he forgot he was our dive guide. Our server Eduardo was spectacular; had our drinks ready at each meal, our room turned down with chocolate each night and EVEN DID LAUNDRY (which is a huge plus on such a long trip) The rooms were nice and comfortable. The WC had a slight odor but seriously what do you expect from a boat. There were designated space under the beds for suitcases which was also a plus. The diving was out of the this world. El Niño ended in April and we were in a La Niña with colder water which brought in the sharks. Oh my goodness were there sharks! Hundreds of sharks! But not only that we saw a Manta, Whale Shark, sharks mating and one person in our group saw a Stripped Marlin in the distance not to forget ALL the fish! We were in the rainy season which I was not looking forward and now I think that is the only time to go. This brought in alot of rain, wind and big swells so trips in the panga were quite bumpy but also brings in all the large pelagics. The land tours were great too. Thank you to the crew of the Cocos Island Aggressor! Can't wait to come back!

Can't Wait to do it again!
I booked this liveaboard for my 50th birthday and it did not disappoint. The boat was comfortable and spacious. The crew could not have been better. Jorge, our waiter, was super nice and accommodating. The Chef did a fantastic job! As a pescatarian, they were very accommodating but I would have liked more bean and tofu options for protein. The Panga drivers, Alberto and Lito, were awesome. The dive leaders, Mauricio and Warren were phenomenal. I followed Warren from Panga to Panga because I enjoyed his leadership and guiding. I dived with Mauricio one day and he was fantastic too! I was sad to leave but inspired to do it again.

Awesome experience, with a lovely crew
Amazing, with lovely diving, an awesome crew that was super thoughtful & attentive. What really could be better is the cleaning - everything is a bit dingy and dirrty. The bathrooms especially are pretty groce, they stink (just use some campaor) & need a mokeover! Also the boards around the whirlpool are loose & a few people fell over them.

Great liveaboard for anyone who loves big fish.
It was one of the best liveaboards we have done. A lot of big fish and wonderful experiences and dive sites.The boat was ok, a bit old, but still luxurious. A lot of defects (Panda and nitrox) have reduced the overall result a bit.

Disappointing trip on Cocos Island Aggressor
This is a tough review to write because I really had my hopes up for this trip but there are so many things that went wrong on my trip it's really disappointing. While the diving was very good and our wildlife encounters were great the bad side is the boat side needs some work. First of all the cabins have no external ventilation, so this means humidity from there shower is trapped in the room, and any dampness brought in with the divers stays in the room. My room was very humid at night which forced me to sleep outside most nights. Secondly the showers often ran out of water which was frustrating. The fire extinguisher in my cabin was empty as well. For the first few nights hardly any protein was served with dinner and it took some complaints from guests to get this resolved. Sometimes it felt as if the diving wasn't a priority for the crew as we often dove the same sites repeatedly even though nothing was seen there. Also the dive schedule was adjusted twice to accommodate the crew from Aggressor 3 to play soccer against the crew of Aggressor 2, the priority was getting the game in and not the diving for the guests. Lastly the host hotel - D Sabana - is in a bad neighborhood. When walking around outside the hotel we were stopped by locals telling us it's not safe and to go back where we came from. Would recommend staying elsewhere and then taking a cab to D Sabana to meet pick up time.
