An excellent dive vacation for serious divers

This was a really great trip - highlights included: frequent turtle sightings, great conditions of the Cayman reefs with plentiful reef fish, seeing my wife feed a stingray for the first time, pretty much every meal made by Chef Brian, and getting to meet lots of friendly advanced divers from around the country - 18 new friends! I will most certainly be back for more cruises with the Aggressor team!!

Excellent crew and comfortable boat

The boat was large and comfortable. I loved the covered outdoor lounge area so that I could warm up and relax between dives without being in the direct sun. And the hot showers on the dive deck are amazing. I had read reviews that the autopilot on this ship was very loud, but it was not in use during our trip, and I had no trouble sleeping through the night even though our cabin was right next to the engine room. The crew were absolutely fantastic: always smiling, safety-minded, efficient and fun at the same time. They made us feel welcome and at home and provided 5 star service. And chef Kris prepared amazing vegan food that would rival any boutique restaurant in NYC or San Francisco (even some of the carnivore divers tried our vegan entrees and were blown away). The diving was easy with only mild current at times and lots of wrecks and swim-throughs to make each dive different.

i could move in to this liveaboard

This is one liveaboard i could move in for months . The boat is wonderfully appointed with deck spaces, never feels crowded . Diving deck is also fantastic with so much space . I did 2 weeks back to back dive trips , so on 2nd one you notice more details; and I loved it even more . The crew is just an amazing, hard working group of people . So helpful and professional. The food is fresh ,plentiful , large variety and beautifully prepared. Cayman Agressor V is one liveaboard not to miss .

Outstanding dive trip

That had to be Bloody Bay Wall. We spend a good amount of time at Little Cayman. The dive sites at Little Cayman are in the top three for Caribbean diving (my opinion). The staff was outstanding and exceeded my expectations which are high. The food was excellent, and the chef did accommodate for any wish outside the regular menu. Perfect. The vessel itself is big. Lot’s of space to get downtime during the dives. The dive deck itself is impressive. Lot’s of room.

Awesome staff, excellent food and accommodations, and of course the dives themselves.

Disappointing dive trip

This is our second aggressor trip. The boat is newly appointed but can’t cope with any rough weather. We spent a week mostly on sites off seven mile beach, Grand Cayman and always in view of fancy hotels on shore rather than an itinerary across the Caymans to include the ‘sister islands’ which have the best dive sites of the Caymans. Though weather can never be guaranteed it seems the boat rarely does the full itinerary during winter months. This is not obvious on booking and should be. The crew were I think told by management not to be helpful to us re equipment, computers etc etc I felt uncared for whilst diving except by RJ and Rodel. There were never enough dive guides to actually watch over us which could have been risky. although it is the stated policy of the boat, it still isn’t helpful. They were even at times disdainful of us...not good. The crew basically want to make a nice video to sell you at the end of the week ( we had the exact same experience on the other aggressor). The food was fabulous by chef Brian BUT it was always rushed ready for the next dive. We couldn’t relax after a final dive and eat a leisurely dinner or even ever watch sunset, as we had to get dinner finished ready for the night dive. This may suit the very keen diver, but it’s not for those who are having a diving ‘holiday’. We won’t be going AGGRESSOR again. We have never had such a rushed and unrelaxing dive holiday before. Since leaving the boat we have done independent diving on both of the sister islands. Truly magical and a much better experience
