Absolutely fantastic
I really don't see how it could have been any better. The crew were welcoming, warm, engaging and supportive. Jerry's talents in the galley were astounding. Every meal a triumph. Special thanks to Captains Eddie and Meaghan, and dive masters Simon and William, whose skills and experience made sure we were safe and comfortable. We wanted for nothing. Great value! First rate! Top shelf!

More than I ever expected
Captain Eddy was very careful about making sure the sites were safe to dive. If the water was choppy he did not waste any time moving to a safer site. We all know that most dive injuries are when you get back on the boat. Loved the "Fintastic Service" while getting on board. It makes it much easier. Hot showers were amazing at the back of the boat. Dive Masters were very watchful. Jerry is an amazing cook. I love to cook myself and found time hanging out in the kitchen very exciting. Now who can boil up perfect pasta for over 20 people--that is talent!

A.MA.ZING!!!!!! More than exceeded my expectations!
Celebrated my 100th dive on this trip!! Went w my cousin to commemorate October 16 (which should have been her late husband's 60th bday)--Eddie went out of his way to make this day special. The whole crew is terrific but Eddie is really the heart & soul of the boat!! Loved the night dives seeing all the critters that aren't usually out during the day. Loved the eat-sleep-dive-repeat life!! Thought being off the grid (& away from electronics) would be hard---it was wonderful!!!!! Your rating system only goes up to 5 stars but I would give the Aggressor IV & crew 10 stars!!

It was a great experience with great dives, food, and new friends.
Relaxed atmosphere and the flexibility of the staff. Food was fantastic. Dive sites were really great and guides pointed out items of interest. There were really far too many lion fish at every site taking over the reefs. Should have competitions to keep the population under control.

Thanks to the Belize Aggressor IV crew for a fantastic week diving and amazing hospitslity.
All around great week. Great group of people - passengers and crew! Captain Alex and his crew did a great job navigating the weather to ensure we had great diving all week. The option of following the diver master or simply diving with your buddy worked well. The food was amazing all week. The crew were very friendly and worked so hard. I would recommend this trip to others. Just one note... the dive masters are no longer allowed to kill Lionfish as some customers were complaining... There were a lot of Lionfish... and the practice of culling them should be permitted.

Excellent Experience
The boat is fairly well set up, the camera tables are a bit small though but still ok. Plenty of rinse buckets on the deck for various equipment. The hot showers and hot towels are very nice when coming out of the water. Their "fintastic" fin removal service in the water is great, makes it so easy - sometimes its just the little things. Divemasters seemed to be fairly knowledgeable and were fun to dive with. Beds were comfortable and Rooms were clean just a bit older feeling. Food was always good, I don't ever remember being hungry.Diving was pretty decent, no current and saw lots of fish, big and small. I will definitely plan to go on my next trip with Aggressor as well, it was a good experience all around

Good way to dive Belize
Here are some suggestions Play music, have more top deck activity, or feature a movie some nights so that we can let loose a bit and mingle. Do some type or organized exercise, like yoga or Pilates to stretch every day. Have some mats so we could do on our own. Show video or slideshow to discuss the sea life we witnessed every day, make this a little more educational. deal with hot showers that are scalding and only dribble cooler water. Don't move boat after 11pm, engine noise is too loud and won't allow anyone to sleep. Have more flashlights available for night dives.

- Food and friendliness of staff was tops! The dive sites were good but algae and longish and warming waters are definitely taking it's toll.
Outstanding
Met a super friendly group of Colorado based divers who I hung with since am a solo diver. Wide variety of dive sites with lots of great animal and plant lifevto see. Super long bottom times most easily exceeding an hour.

Belize Aggressor rocks
Big animals, sharks, rays, turtles. On one dive we came across a bait ball that you could swim into, it was incredible. The only downside was visibility could have been better on some dives.

Our experience was generally good but there was an issue you will here about below.
This survey is biased towards positive responses. I'd rather discuss something else here. I won't dwell on the smaller things (such as the beer cooler's inability to keep the kegs sufficiently cold). There was one big problem with this liveaboard experience- the boat had just one engine. It seems the Aggressor corporation had sent the ship to the Dominican Republic for at least a week immediately before we boarded and it cost the boat it's second engine. Consequently, we had to return to the dock Sunday evening before leaving again in the wee hours of Monday morning and we were unable to get to the Blue Hole in seas that, while a bit rough, this ship should have been able to handle easily. By the way, we also stayed the complete night at the dock our first night after boarding. Basically we got screwed because the Belize Aggressor IV was worn out. This is the biggest reason you get just three stars for value and it also the reason we will probably not book another trip with the Aggressor fleet.

- The crew was absolutely great (all of them). Undoubtedly this was the best thing about this trip. The reef appeared healthier than some other places we have been recently and most of the dives were high quality.

First Liveaboard Experience was way better than I ever expected!
First time diving with Nitrox was amazing. Hanging on the T-bar underneath the boat and swinging from deep dark water into the shallows. Watching the dive masters "light up" during briefings of each new dive location. Seeing fellow divers respect and care for the coral and surrounding environment.

Beautiful reefs that are easy to explore for divers of all levels
The Belize Aggressor IV was a great liveaboard which provided large rooms/beds, fantastic dining, and easy diving for divers of all levels. All the dives were off the back of the boat, had good visibility, and were without current. Furthermore, each dive you had the option to guide your own dives (with your buddy of course) or follow along with the Divemaster. We averaged 5 dives/day except on the first and last day of diving which were 2 dives. Wild life that we encountered included barracuda, nurse sharks, various rays, reef sharks, lobsters, toad fish, and large free swimming green morays. At night we saw squid, octopuses on almost every night dive, slipper lobster, and large tarpon. The beginning of our trip had an unexpected (but interesting) detour as the yacht was stuck in Honduras due to rough seas. The Aggressor company put us up in a hotel for 2 nights and brought us to the Mayan ruins of Lamanai (meaning submerged crocodile). During our time on the mainland we had the opportunity to go out onto the river at night searching for crocodiles. Needless to say we found one and many of us on the tour had the chance to hold the three foot baby croc before releasing it back into the river. We did not get the chance to dive the Blue Hole due to the weather.

My best liveaboard trip so far with great captain, crew, food and care for divers
The diving was wonderful as usual. I could discuss the various dives, however, they pale in significance to the captain and crew who were exceptional. On my last dive I was being swept out to sea by the current and a crew member had to swim out to save me. If that's not a highlight, I don't know what is. At 76, I often required special attention. This was provided at every turn. It was unusual to have a captain that also acted as a dive master. It felt that he was one of us which was greatly appreciated. This was my third liveaboard and my second with an Aggressor boat. I have a third Aggressor trip scheduled for next May (postponed from this July due to Covid) and am looking forward to it. I cannot praise the captain and crew on this trip too highly. I will make myself available at any time for further comment.

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST
First off. The trip was AWESOME. Food was amazing and plentiful and always available. Accommodations were very nice and for a boat quite spacious and usable. Staff was Amazing, friendly and always willing to help. Diving was excellent and the captain did his best to make sure we went to the best and most diverse sites available with the weather we had during the trip. The only "issue" we had was with air fills. We were diving air (so we thought) but I had an uneasy feeling and had them check my tank with the analyzer just because I am paranoid about my gas and someone somewhere along the duration of the trip had put nitrox in our tanks so we were diving an unknown mix of nitrox for an unknown number of dives, while our computers were set to air . So the only recommendation I have to improve / prevent future errors is to have your tank analyzed before every dive even if diving air, due to the ease of potential miss fill

Almost everything was a highlight. We are living in some challenging times and being able to totally clear your head aboard a cool boat parked in some amazing places on a reef we love is just an incredible blessing. OK so I'll give you one highlight- For the third trip to Belize in a row, spread out over two years, we saw Patches the reef shark. That made us really happy!

Great service, food, drinks and diving; boat could be rejuvenated
The diving at lighthouse reef seemed much better than at Turneffe. Would be great to do more than two dive sites per day if weather permits. Some of the crew were excellent as divemasters, kept everyone together and pointed out animals, whilst some of the crew disappeared off sometimes (not naming any names!). The rooms were very comfortable however a few things didn't always work such as air con etc. Food and drinks were much better than expected, hot showers and fintastic service much appreciated. The efficiency of getting divers in and out of the water safely and comfortably was great. The time spent at the dock after the last dive on the Friday seemed wasted, could we not have explored one of the islands instead?

Pristine corals, varied marine life and extremely comfortable boat - a good week!
Dives in the marine park, especially Chain Wall and Half Moon Caye dive sites, were wonderful. We had not expected the coral to be so colourful and pristine - so much prettier than we anticipated. Also a good mixture of marine life from big reef sharks and eagle rays to plentiful small fish, crustaceans and octopus. The boat was the most spacious we’ve experienced on a liveaboard - very comfortable. And the food was outstanding. The only reason I didn’t give the diving 5 stars above is the lack of dive guiding - it was fine for us as experienced divers in easy conditions, but for less experienced divers in current, I imagine safety could be an issue.

Cabins are very old, hot, stinky and noisy
My wife and I stayed in cabin One Apr 13th to 20th. They call it owners room, but there was 2 small windows and we could not see out at all, room was stinky and since it was beside the engine room we could smell fume. AC was noisy and when I asked them to fix it, they shot it down and I could not find any one to say that we are boiling. even after they fixed the noise it did not work properly and the temprature never went below 80. Dive schedule was not so organized, specially first day and last they took us to very low quality dive sites, apparently they wanted just to say ok you have had your all dives. Considering the rate for this trip, we expected much better quality.
