Dancing & Diving!
This was an impromptu dive trip that was definitely worth it! Our group learned early on that dance music while setting up our gear/analyzing was the bests way to get pumped about diving. We had so much fun as a group- dancing, meals, learning about sea creatures & finding them in the water. We all had dive buddies, but sometimes went in larger groups so we could find more together. There were people of all ages so it was a good mix of people especially during our Friday night cocktail hour. The crew!! JR & Vanessa made the most amazing meals & snacks. Dive staff (Fermin, Jay, Shawn, Captain Daniel) helped refill & analyze tanks. They were easy to talk to and so helpful with any minor/major thing. They even joined in on the dance parties! Thank you for helping us find all the little creatures! Shout out to Eddie who made sure everything ran smoothly while I was rocked to sleep at night. Two downsides...First, we didn't get to dive the Blue Hole- weather wasn't clear enough & one of the engines was having trouble. Which in hindsight means I have to travel back to Belie! Second, this trip is marketed as an 8D/7N; however, we docked back at port after our 2 dives on Friday. We were responsible for our own meal Friday night. The boat was being restocked & flipped for the next trip while we were still on board, which made for a cramped space. I understand how quickly they have to flip the boat for the next trip, but we couldn't all hang together in the salon. As a whole, this dive trip was worth it & I'll probably visit again in the future.

Plentiful diving on an Older Boat but with Great Food and Crew
Overall I am not sure this particular trip was as good value for money compared to our other Aggressor fleet boat experience and the other liveaboard trips we have done with other providers. Firstly - the boat itself is looking quite tired with an a/c that can't be altered, smaller than average cabins (the sink is even in the main cabin!), insufficient room to seat all guests in the saloon for briefings, insufficient room to seat all the guests in the same room at meals and yet the cost of the trip on Belize Aggressor III is exactly the same as that of the newer Aggressor IV which according to their guests seemed in far better condition being much newer, larger and more plush. It seems to us that the company is trying to maximise its revenue from a particularly older boat. I think the boat engineer Fermin and Cpt. Rocke are probably working pretty hard behind the scenes to keep this boat going. There was plenty of room on the drive deck for kitting up and jumping in etc. Second - we thought the food from Chef Vanessa and sous chef Terrilyn was plentiful, varied and excellent for saying the galley where they produced the food from was tiny! The fridges were well stocked with yogurts, soft drinks, beers etc. for once diving was complete for the day. Thirdly - the reefs were in great condition with good diversity of sea life, mostly soft corals and sponges and best of all there were no other boats wherever we moored up (we saw Aggressor IV in the distance a few times and on one single dive). The only other time was when we saw day trip boats visiting the Blue Hole. Fourthly - the boat didn't tend to move after each dive as is the case on most liveaboards we've done except for the where there is a night dive when you do dives 3 & 4 at same location. Dives were plentiful and "guided" if you decided to just follow behind the crew member leading the dive. Crew would point out things of interest if you were interested but there was no requirement to follow the "guide" with the exception of the Blue Hole which was strictly managed due to depth and time in the water (just 30 mins). All dive sites were pretty straight forward; many divers did their own thing, atmosphere was relaxed and very enjoyable. Dives were limited to 60 mins which was ample. There was no need to dive from or be collected by rib. We were doing 4 or 5 dives a day and did 23 in total (just one night dive had to be cancelled due to currents/conditions).

A great week of diving!
Even though this boat is not as big or new as its sister boat, Aggressor 4 (same price), it is a still a great dive boat. The changing area was very roomy, with plenty of hangers & clips for wetsuits. We were not bumping into each other at all. The cabins were cozy & clean. Cleaned 2 x per day & always chocolates left on pillows. The crew was very friendly. The cooks were awesome. Wow, the meals were varied & incredible! Dive briefings were detailed. Being allowed to dive your own profile is a treat. My buddy & i enjoyed taking our time, & going were we wanted. Some divers stayed with the Dive Masters, of which there were always 2 in the water. The bottom walls & corals were very healthy. We saw lots of fish, sharks, groupers, rays and more. Despite DiveMasters being in the water, its still important for divers to be able to navigate underwater. We had 1 dive where visibility & a strong current seperated divers, so the skills needed to navigate & use our SMB came in handy. We had friendly grouper 'Scratches', Nurse sharks, turtles & shark 'patches' that posed nicely for our cameras.

Getting Aggressor “Merch” wasn’t enough to make me part of the crew… even if thats how i felt
Beyond friendly crew and animated meetings/briefings — hard to ask for more, really! Diving was incredible and i couldn’t more aggressively recommend Aggressor III. Staff was very professional and allowed for a “wide arrangement of freedom” of diving styles & buddy exploration. They made diving fun, easy and empowering while never lacking on safety or good “underwater practices”. Several optional services available made the experience one of a kind and the overall friendliness became not only contagious amongst guests but also elevated the whole experience! Thank you for making us feel part of the crew!!

Unforgettable trip
Highlights of my trip have to be the diving. We saw so many things the whole week. I’m also still dreaming about the stuffed pork chop chef Bernard cooked one of the nights. The crew was amazing and full of energy that added to the overall experience

On every dive we saw a healthy reef, vibrant with sea life. The dive masters briefed us on what we might see and led us on some incredible dives. When on the boat, we were treated to delicious snacks and meals. All the crew members were friendly and made us feel welcome.
