Bucket list trip met our expectations!
This was our first live aboard trip and overall it was an excellent experience. The number of dives and the location was outstanding. The first dive was a disappointment but they kept getting better and better. Water visibility wasn't the best but it was still an excellent experience. The dive guide provided excellent overviews of the dives and offered several options for people with varying levels of experience. We would definitely do it again.

I absolutely loved my liveaboard trip. The boat was clean, the staff was awesome, and the food was delicious. Not to mention the dive sites were stunning! I always felt 100% looked after on my trip and very safe. Thank you for making my experience on the great barrier reef one I will never forget!

Glad I made this choice
Lots of opportunity for dives at great locations. They really help you out with your gear and getting everything set up and getting in the water. There are new divers which will stay out of the way of more experienced divers. Awesome crew and divemasters on board. Very funny guys! The reef was in good condition where they took us with limited bleaching at this point. Very cool animals, chance for great photos. I feel like I got a Classic GBR experience. The cook could have used some more experience making things that were actually tasty, but we didn't go hungry. Comfortable cabins, usable bathrooms. Everything went well!

How can you not give this 5 stars?!
The food! - The efforts of the ships cook were just wonderful. She even went out of her way to make a birthday cake for one of the passengers on board. The crew - I cannot stress enough how awesome the crew was! Helpful, fun, funny, and kind. They worked their butts off to ensure everyone had an awesome time. The reef - How can you not appreciate the great sights of the barrier reef. It was really an amazing experience :) Would do this again with Pro Dive Cairns in a second! HUGE Thank you to everyone!

Great Experience!
I was told other liveabroads in GBR keep their boats out there and just get speed boats to go pick you up at cairns. This means that the ride there could be very choppy, and that you may always see different crew members or guests throughout your trip which is something I don't like. I enjoyed not being rushed when getting ready to dive. All the dives are generally straightforward. Be aware that most of the dives are self guided (guided optional) . I was apprehensive about that at first, but it ended up being pretty easy to navigate and i feel like i've become a more experienced divers because of it. Ammenities are basic. Towels are not provided (although i really wish at least one were provided per person). Food is ok, nothing special. Boat is kept clean. If you want to experience GBR, this is a good Live-abroad to go to!

- 1. The boat has the same people throughout the trip. There are no drop in guests who only come for a day, and take a speed boat back. 2.The facilities were actually kept very clean. 3.Very Chill Crew
Excellent dive trip
Observing all of the sea life on the Great Barrier Reef is without a doubt the #1 highlight of the trip. Other highlights include the enthusiasm and knowledge of the crew; each and every member played a role in making this an enjoyable trip.

Very nice trip to the Great Barrier Reef.
Mostly just diving at another wonderful place in the world and a world-famous sure. Just saw one little part of the GBR so there’s plenty more for more trips and experiences. Corals seemed in very good shape to a non-expert like me and so glad to see zero rubbish of any kind in the water. Plenty of Reef life and loads of fish. Huge clams!

The great barrier reef is not doomed.
It was a diving trip and the diving was the highlight, we saw tons of life everywhere on the reef and many of the fish and turtles too were not concerned by our presence so we were able to get very close at times.

The sea turtles, reef sharks and sting rays. Met some very nice diving buddies on board. Comfortable cabins. Slept right through the storm. First time I dived at night. Great experience. First time I navigated without a guide. Briefings were good. Felt awesome. I was pleasantly surprised by the richness of the meals on board.

Fantastic experience
Overall a fantastic experience. It was my first liveaboard experience and delivered beyond expectations. The diving was fantastic. The dive briefings were clear and comprehensive, and the sites selected were magnificient and varied with beautiful corals and a wide variety of sea life. The equipment was great quality, easy to organise and many different size options to select from. The food was fantastic. The chef (Angus) did an excellent job, and was very accommodating to people's food preferences. The boat was very clean, and the accommodation basic (as expected for the price), but very clean and comfortable. We had fantastic weather which made the trip out to the reef and 2 nights on the reef very comfortable.

Lovely atmosphere, dive sites quite limited
Good points: Quality of crew was excellent: clear dive instructions, plenty of suggestions on things to find and see, safety in the water, how to protect the reef, especially how to limit your impact on night dives! Easy enough to jump into a guided group without extra charge, or decide to do a certificate. Strong focus on safety and responsibility. With the crew and your fellow live-pboards right out of the harbour, so great opportunity to get to know everyone, have a constant buddy on dives and build a group rapport - I think nearly everyone went out for food/drinks on our return day! High quality equipment, team worked hard to ensure everything ready for you. Points for improvement: Living quarters a little cramped, no towel supplied; dive sites had less varied marine life compared to other live-aboards (to a point this can't be helped, however). Overall, I would stay on ScubaPro/use Pro-Dive again and would recommend them as a great live-aboard option!

A fantastic experience where we could safely enjoy the incredible scenery with a perfect crew
The coral gardens, where the snorkelers could really enjoy as much as the divers, we snorkeled with turtles while the divers met a shark! It was a gorgeous dive site, it was like flying over gardens.
