Pro Dive Cairns offers excellent value for money liveaboard diving to the Outer Great Barrier Reef, Australia, aboard the M/V ScubaPro I, II, or III. Perfect for budget- and time-conscious divers, the fully equipped ScubaPro liveaboards are identical, purpose-built dive boats designed to handle all varying weather conditions, offering a smooth and comfortable journey to the Great Barrier Reef. There are 14 centrally controlled air-conditioned twin-share bunk-bed cabins and 2 double-bed cabins.

The main deck is the hub of the boat, featuring a large indoor salon and dining room where meals are served, including a fully cooked hot/cold breakfast, hot and cold lunches, and a hot dinner. Snacks, water, tea, and coffee are available throughout the day. The top deck features a spacious sun deck, providing ample room for relaxation.

Aboard the M/V ScubaPro liveaboards, guests will explore the incredible marine biodiversity of the outer Great Barrier Reef at locations specifically chosen for their exceptional visibility and high-quality marine life. Up to 11 dives are available, including 2-night dives during the 2-night/3-day diving and snorkeling itinerary. The spacious dive deck at the back of the boat offers individual gear storage and ample room for kitting up. Nitrox is also available for those certified.

Can’t really say enough about how much I enjoyed this trip. Our crew really cared that we enjoy our experience. The food was good and plentiful (as was the coffee, thank you). The reef was spectacular and was, of course, the star of the show. I’d say that Pro Dive Cairns exceeded my expectations.

Above and beyond my expectations
We had pretty rough weather but the diving was awesome. The team did their best to make everyone confortable and knew the dive sites incredibly well. This meant we saw all there was to see under the water and not miss a thing. It was a really cool experince. I highly recommend ProDive Cairns to anyone!

Unable to fault this trip.
We were very lucky with dive conditions, 25m visibility and zero swell. All the crew worked very hard to keep everything running smoothly. Food was exceptional and plenty of it. Most of all, coffee was good.

My trip with Pro Dive Cairns 3-day live aboard on the Great Barrier Reef was nothing short of incredible. From start to finish, the crew delivered an experience that was professional, warm, and truly memorable. The diving was absolutely amazing—easily the best I’ve ever done. Crystal-clear visibility, vibrant coral gardens, and an abundance of marine life made every dive unique. Whether it was sunrise dives full of color or magical night dives filled with curious creatures, each moment felt like stepping into a whole new world. Trip of a lifetime, worth every penny.
My expectations were high but they were met and surpassed, I took the 4 day e learning. My instructor liv was amazing talked through every step to help build our confidence so we could dive safely and enjoy the amazing views of the reef. I will be suggesting this tour group to anyone who asks.

Amazing Dives!
The crew were amazing and made this trip incredible. They were very accommodating with pickups and ensuring we were comfortable and safe on the boat. They had several safety measures to make sure everyone was on board before moving to a new dive site. They also offered some guided dives for people with less experience. We did our first night dive here and it was guided and amazing. They explained all the extra information needed to dive at night and provided all the lanterns and lights to ensure we stayed together. 11 dives in 3 days was a lot but we definitely got to see lots of cool parts of the Great Barrier Reef and some amazing wildlife. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience
Amazing 3 days spent on the reef. Crew were excellent and the boat was so comfortable. Night dives were so fun with sharks floating around us at all times and lots of marine life to see. Highly recommend doing a liveaboard with Prodive. Very professional and well organised, all the way from hotel pickup to drop off at the end of the trip.

Life changing experience!
We were able to dive to our own leisurely time and just had to be back by 50bar. The dive site briefings were extremely helpful and insightful and enjoyable! The crew members went above and beyond to make our experience amazing! They baked me a cake for my birthday! And everyone sang happy birthday to me!
