Pro Dive Cairns offers excellent value for money liveaboard diving to the Outer Great Barrier Reef, Australia, aboard the M/V ScubaPro I, II, or III. Perfect for budget- and time-conscious divers, the fully equipped ScubaPro liveaboards are identical, purpose-built dive boats designed to handle all varying weather conditions, offering a smooth and comfortable journey to the Great Barrier Reef. There are 14 centrally controlled air-conditioned twin-share bunk-bed cabins and 2 double-bed cabins.

The main deck is the hub of the boat, featuring a large indoor salon and dining room where meals are served, including a fully cooked hot/cold breakfast, hot and cold lunches, and a hot dinner. Snacks, water, tea, and coffee are available throughout the day. The top deck features a spacious sun deck, providing ample room for relaxation.

Aboard the M/V ScubaPro liveaboards, guests will explore the incredible marine biodiversity of the outer Great Barrier Reef at locations specifically chosen for their exceptional visibility and high-quality marine life. Up to 11 dives are available, including 2-night dives during the 2-night/3-day diving and snorkeling itinerary. The spacious dive deck at the back of the boat offers individual gear storage and ample room for kitting up. Nitrox is also available for those certified.

Unable to fault this trip.
We were very lucky with dive conditions, 25m visibility and zero swell. All the crew worked very hard to keep everything running smoothly. Food was exceptional and plenty of it. Most of all, coffee was good.

We would definitely recommend Pro Dive Cairns
The crew worked hard and were clearly on tight but well managed schedule. Anytime they weren’t preparing for teaching diving they were cleaning putting away gear and setting up for the next activity. The meals were incredible and there was a lot of food for as many people that were on that boat. They took diver safety very seriously as they should.

Seeing the huge variety of sea life, including turtles, reef sharks, stingrays, moray eels, colourful fish, giant clams, and the living coral. The weather and sea conditions were perfect, with great clarity wherever we stopped to dive. The crew were absolutely amazing!

Fantastic trip with some of the best crew for a single traveler!
Night diving and seeing a shark, giant turtle and many corals and fish and getting additional certiifcations. I rented a digital underwater camera and took some amazing photographs. I also got certified in advanced open water and enriched air (nitrox) and the quality of the instructors and staff was excellent. They helped pair me up with other staff or divers (as I was traveling alone).

Awesome experience - I’ve done it twice!
The crew were my highlight - their patience, attentiveness and amazing effort to ensure all passengers loved their time aboard - which we definitely did. Big shout out to Marine who was our instructor on the rescue course. She was determined to Ensure we were the best we could be and that makes all the difference!!

Great time with great crew
I was a solo female traveler hoping to do some diving in the GBR. ProDive was a fantastic experience. The opportunity to do 11 dives in 3 days is a great deal for the cost. Good food, friendly crew, met awesome dive buddies. Know that if you are certified diver already, you are signing up for unguided dives, but will be provided a compass and dive computer, and you will be briefed by a dive master before every dive.
