Pro Dive Cairns offers excellent value for money liveaboard diving to the Outer Great Barrier Reef, Australia, aboard the M/V ScubaPro I, II, or III. Perfect for budget- and time-conscious divers, the fully equipped ScubaPro liveaboards are identical, purpose-built dive boats designed to handle all varying weather conditions, offering a smooth and comfortable journey to the Great Barrier Reef. There are 14 centrally controlled air-conditioned twin-share bunk-bed cabins and 2 double-bed cabins.

The main deck is the hub of the boat, featuring a large indoor salon and dining room where meals are served, including a fully cooked hot/cold breakfast, hot and cold lunches, and a hot dinner. Snacks, water, tea, and coffee are available throughout the day. The top deck features a spacious sun deck, providing ample room for relaxation.

Aboard the M/V ScubaPro liveaboards, guests will explore the incredible marine biodiversity of the outer Great Barrier Reef at locations specifically chosen for their exceptional visibility and high-quality marine life. Up to 11 dives are available, including 2-night dives during the 2-night/3-day diving and snorkeling itinerary. The spacious dive deck at the back of the boat offers individual gear storage and ample room for kitting up. Nitrox is also available for those certified.

Safe and Organized!
By far one of the best Liveaboards I have done. The safety of the crew and watchfulness was wonderful. Anything that was needed that you forgot was available to purchase or use for free. Food was wonderful, very tasty but for little kids might be a bit above their level of taste. (No chicken nuggets or peanut butter sandwiches here!) Great diving spots with good information. When we did night dives, someone always led them, although you could go with just your buddy if you wanted or were comfortable. Saw lots of wonderful fish and turtles and even a few sharks!

Exceeded expectations!
Seeing the huge variety of sea life, including turtles, reef sharks, stingrays, moray eels, colourful fish, giant clams, and the living coral. The weather and sea conditions were perfect, with great clarity wherever we stopped to dive. The crew were absolutely amazing!

I’d say this was once-in-a-lifetime but it was so amazing I will be doing it again for sure.

Flawless
The team at Pro Dive Cairns was just perfect! Everything was planned and we only had to relax and enjoy the ride! Food was plentiful and delicious, super clean, not to mention how thorough they are about safety and briefings! All gear was in excellent condition and they had brand new wetsuits for most of us (the older ones were good as well). I would love to join them again in the future!

Can't rave enough about how amazing this trip was
The staff were absolutely amazing on this trip, so friendly and accommodating. They were so knowledgeable about the area and took us to the most amazing dive/snorkeling sites. The food was incredible and the chef was very accommodating for different food requirements. I was highly impressed with the comfort of the accommodations and rooms. They Run A Tight Ship!
I was happy to see so much healthy coral in lieu of recent environment issues. The cluster of 30 gargantuan humphead parrotfish first thing in the morning. It was a very social and fun live aboard with an outstanding crew.

Having a good time
We had a wonderful time on board. Everything was perfekt organized and the took care of special Diets and refresehd our knowledge of the navigation. The Dive Breefings always were clear, well explained and brought to as in a good humor! We always knew were to lock for the known cool stuff. The food was always delicious and there was plenty of it. The crew was awesome and always there for us with a helping hand. The reefs and the divesides were from an other world it was stunning. It was a beautiful time and were hoping to be back soon on board

We saw fantastic fish and felt free and safe to explore on our own. However, I always felt that if I was nervous about a dive the guides would be happy to help me out. The detailed dive briefings (including pictures) before we went under were very helpful.

Great all round trip! Incredible value for money. The crew were awesome and it was a great crowd to dive with. Things to note for anyone reading: - Diving tends to be pretty shallow (great visibility and easy diving) - Lots of beginner and inexperienced divers - not that its a bad thing, but just as an fyi - Diving is unguided so be prepared for this - the first dive and night dive are guided, but the crew were helpful in getting people up to speed on navigation - Food is GREAT and crew is FUN. - Generally a younger crowd on this boat
