Pro Dive Cairns offers excellent value for money liveaboard diving to the Outer Great Barrier Reef, Australia, aboard the M/V ScubaPro I, II, or III. Perfect for budget- and time-conscious divers, the fully equipped ScubaPro liveaboards are identical, purpose-built dive boats designed to handle all varying weather conditions, offering a smooth and comfortable journey to the Great Barrier Reef. There are 14 centrally controlled air-conditioned twin-share bunk-bed cabins and 2 double-bed cabins.

The main deck is the hub of the boat, featuring a large indoor salon and dining room where meals are served, including a fully cooked hot/cold breakfast, hot and cold lunches, and a hot dinner. Snacks, water, tea, and coffee are available throughout the day. The top deck features a spacious sun deck, providing ample room for relaxation.

Aboard the M/V ScubaPro liveaboards, guests will explore the incredible marine biodiversity of the outer Great Barrier Reef at locations specifically chosen for their exceptional visibility and high-quality marine life. Up to 11 dives are available, including 2-night dives during the 2-night/3-day diving and snorkeling itinerary. The spacious dive deck at the back of the boat offers individual gear storage and ample room for kitting up. Nitrox is also available for those certified.

It was an amazing trip. Diving spots were stunning, full of life and biodiversity. Diving was intense but it was just about that, eating and chilling, and three days of that felt very adequate. We were certified divers so it was a very relaxing and enjoyable trip.

Great dive trip
We loved it. Great dives, friendly crew, and good conditions. The crew was great, giving a briefing and info, and we enjoyed the space on the top deck. Even though the trip was sold out, it didn't feel too crowded. There was space, and it was nice and quiet too, so you could enjoy the ocean.

-Night dives: seeing GTs chasing smaller fish; a sleeping giant turtle; and baiting sharks (i.e. making noise, and turning off torches) -amazing staff: very personal and friendly yet professional -incredible food: lots of healthy options yet delicious -the whole experience in general: loved the boat ride there and back; seeing a whale breaching a few times; meeting awesome people!

Great all round trip! Incredible value for money. The crew were awesome and it was a great crowd to dive with. Things to note for anyone reading: - Diving tends to be pretty shallow (great visibility and easy diving) - Lots of beginner and inexperienced divers - not that its a bad thing, but just as an fyi - Diving is unguided so be prepared for this - the first dive and night dive are guided, but the crew were helpful in getting people up to speed on navigation - Food is GREAT and crew is FUN. - Generally a younger crowd on this boat

Crew moves like a well orchestrated ballet.

The team at Pro Dive Cairns was just perfect! Everything was planned and we only had to relax and enjoy the ride! Food was plentiful and delicious, super clean, not to mention how thorough they are about safety and briefings! Seeing the huge variety of sea life, including turtles, reef sharks, stingrays, moray eels, colourful fish, giant clams, and the living coral. The weather and sea conditions were perfect, with great clarity wherever we stopped to dive. The crew were absolutely amazing!

Great Liveaboard
All the people on the ship were amazing, great group of people, crew was great very helpful and knowledgeable about everything, and very social, end of the day they were just one of us and came to hangout. The reefs they chose look spectacular and have great life on them. They definitely exceeded my expectations and made my trip to Australia 100% worth it. Would definitely dive with them again.
