The 25m MV Kangaroo Explorer catamaran offers daily dive trips to the Outer Great Barrier reef. Specifically designed for cruising Queensland's coast, the Kangaroo Explorer liveaboard caters for up to 36 guests in 16 cabins made up of twins, doubles and quads. All cabins feature air-conditioning, en-suite bathrooms and portholes. The main deck features an indoor lounge and well stocked licensed bar and dining area where freshly prepared meals are served. All meals and linen is included during your stay, but towels are not provided.
The M/V Kangaroo Explorer liveaboard offers 2-night itineraries every day. Early morning transfers from your city accommodation are included and departures for the Outer Great Barrier are via the MV Sun-Kist which runs guests out to the Kangaroo Explorer daily. Eight day dives and two night dives are included in the trip, as well as all dive equipment which includes dive computer. Dive sites include Moore, Milln, Briggs, Elford and Thetford, and divers will experience an array of hard and soft corals, walls, swim-throughs and a huge variety of marine life.

Excluded: Port, reef and admin costs are $20 per day whilst at sea. Guided dives are $15 extra per person/ per dive. Small bags only. We can store big suitcases at CDC dive shop for $10 extra per trip. Northern Beaches pick ups are $20 extra per person R/T. Introductory Dives can be booked (for an extra cost) on board the boat.
